I have been using two Firefox browser windows a lot recently. Suddenly the response time to a request to open new window went from immediate to 20 seconds. Initially that meant I hit the "new window" button 10 times to get any response which meant browsing was interrupted for the next 5 minutes by the appearance of yet more new windows at 20 second intervals! Has anyone any idea about what has happened?

How can I tell Firefox that I know how to find it in those app stores if I was using any of them? Or that I know how to find anything that I need on the Internet?

Why this aggressive promotion? What is the business model behind those free apps?

I have loved FF desktop browser since I started using it per my boss in 2003. But I am so tired of the fact that EVERY SINGLE TIME you put out an update it breaks my access to the bank. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I waste HOURS reading articles, calling the bank IT dept, chatting with people who are on 3 calls at once, only to hear them tell me to "just use chrome." I clear the cookies, clear the cache, reboot, follow all the prompts in the settings and THEN the damned bank server doesn't recognize the device so it forces yet ANOTHER password change. It happened again TODAY and it makes me so sad but I cannot do it anymore. I am STILL now (going on 4 hours) trying to access the billpay page @ Xantanderbank. (ahem, secure codename) I am forced now, by this craziness, to use the imbecilic duckduckgo which is A) and offensive name and b) you KNOW it nowhere near the product you have built but I CANNOT DO THIS ANYMORE. Thank you for the time it takes to read this diatribe. I appreciate it.

Suite a un nettoyage avec CCLANER sur mon PC je ne voie plus mes mots de passe sur mon navigateur .

J'ai pourtant option "mots de passe enregistrer" est bien désactiver sur cclaner

en regardant dans mon profile je vois bien mes fichier logins.json et key4.db et je vois bien mes identifiants crypter à l’intérieur .

Je ne sais pas quoi faire j'ai des donnée inestimable .

Hi, I recently updated my browser and am really disappointed that a previous solution to remove this frankly useless button was made obsolete. The correct way to have handled this on the road from 106 to now is to include an option in the right-click menu to remove said button. This option - while you can read it in the menu - is simply unclickable. This useless button that just hogs space like the toolbars of old is unable to be removed at all, as fiddling aroudnd with a userChrome.css file also didn't remove it. I would like either a concise way to remove that button that actually works or the ability to use my other mouse button to do something about it.

Firefox won't connect to this site I just updated it to the newest version. It works on edge, chrome. It says The page isn’t redirecting properly

Win 10.0.19045 , Firefox 131.0. For the last week or so Firefox has crashed out several times a day. What has changed to make this happen, and how can it be prevented?

I can't use Google sign-in on any platform with Firefox. When the pop-up opens on the browser, it automatically redirects to this help article. Video games, websites, anything that I usually sign in with Google is having this problem, Chrome works fine. I have cleared my cache, browsing data, and reinstalled Firefox.

I try to sync FF between a laptop and a desktop. Everytime I login and approve via email code I get the question to sync my mobile and the account icon gets a yellow triangle.

How do I sync between a laptop and a desktop properly?

I followed 5x the instructions that came with "please sign in to reconnect " but it just offers mobile sync and throws the browser out of the account again..

I want to be able to view inline PDFs in the browser, and download PDFs sent as attachments, without opening them in Firefox. I've searched the forum, tried different combinations of download settings and toggling `browser.download.open_pdf_attachments_inline` but no dice, either Firefox downloads every file (inline or attached), or it opens the local file in the browser.

I respect that the PDF viewer in Firefox is great, and I want to keep using it when I choose. Right now, I have a download progress that pops up, then the browser becomes unresponsive and switches to the new tab, which is disrupting.

Seems simple but how can I have the following behaviour? - Inline PDF -> view in browser - Attachment -> download without opening in browser

A new version of the "List All Tabs" appeared on my toolbar today, shown on the left and hovered over in the attached screenshot (ignore the Malwarebytes extension icon). The old icon for this button was a chevron with approximately the same functionality. I was able to remove the old icon, but I'm unable to find a way to remove this one. Here is what I've tried so far:

• Like the old one, the Customize Toolbar feature is unable to remove it since it is grayed out.
• For a while, I was able to remove the old icon by going to about:config and setting browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled to false. This solution does not work for the current and some recent versions of the button.
• I attempted to create a userChrome.css file (following all the steps according to this this website) and added the following string: #alltabs-button { display: none !important; }

None of these attempted fixes have removed the button following a browser restart. Is there a way to remove it? I have no need of a button that shows me what tabs I have open when I can simply look at my toolbar.

Dear All,

I need to uninstall Firefox silently from several computers, due to company restrictions. Uninstall must be silent (automatic), because I push the uninstall from Microsoft InTune.

At this stage, using "-ms" or "/S", I can bypass the normal uninstaller prompt, but I still get a Windows warning (from User Access Control), asking autorisation to perform changes on the device.

Can I bypass this prompt as well, so that the uninstall is indeed automatic and silent?

Alternatively do you know of means to modify this at Windows level?

How come when you add some features in firefox updates, they are not removable for me?!? I am talking about the "extensions" tab and the "list all tabs". Some people might want them for their use but I dont. I should have the option to remove them at my leisure. I dont like this at all that I cant make that decision. Please fix. Thank you.
