I was on YouTube and in the upper right hand corner there was a small splash screen that said Activated with words underneath. It did not show but a couple of seconds so I couldn't read what activated.

I did not change anything. How do I find out what happened? I don't see you offer any logs.

PS I don't know if it was YouTube or not Firefox. But I have never seen it before.

It was rectangle with cream white background, black font, Activated was in large font, under it was smaller font. It covered the hamburger and 3 of the icons in your toolbar. It was half on the viewable window page (YouTube) and half over your icons.

The problem is that when I tried opening gmail in my ubuntu, it is stuck at loading page, but other browsers like edge can open it without any problem (on the same system).

I tried every thing I can in the support forum of gmail/mozilla/others, but it's still stuck at loading.

Duck Duck Go search from the address bar suddenly does not work. All queries return a page with the search box and no results. Google search functions correctly. Additionally, the search function on Yahoo Finance no longer functions. Both of these websites and functions work on a mobile version of Firefox connected to the same wifi. At first I had no idea what was causing it but after using troubleshooting mode and turning on extensions one at a time it turns out that metamask was causing the error.

In my Win 10 PC, Firefox has been set to update automatically as it is recommended.

136.0.2 (64-bit) is the most recent one that updated automatically.

Now all my extensions have been wiped out, my workspace changed.

That is such a breach of integrity, and a lack of respect for the user, and his carefully set up work environment, when an Auto-Update just molests my work environment. And then I have to take out hours from my busy routines, to devote to restoring everything to how it was.

There is no rollback feature for Updates, esp when Updates do the havoc they do.

There is no proper Session Management, and a standard protocol for saving, aggregating sessions across different installs, rollbacks, etc, and having the most updated, and complete one, where the onus is on the user not losing data.

Now I have to go hunt around for the past profiles, and name the present one as old, and hope that Firefox functions with integrity, and completeness to restore my whole work environment from the last profile. I'll of course be losing whatever work I happened to do in the new profile now. One never knows how complete these profiles are to reconstruct things exactly the way they were.

Strange. I always believe that stability, and integrity, and a dedication towards that on behalf of the user would be the primary goal. Now it's all about chasing something else, some bells and whistles, and faster performances, and throwing stability, and data integrity under the bus.

I changed my language from Arabic and back, and now I see a little line attached to my cursor within all web pages that I visit, that I believe was added as a result of my language change to Arabic and then back. I have attached screenshots of what a normal cursor looks like vs what my cursor in firefox looks like now. I have not had this happen before today when I have switched between languages in the past. It looks normal within the Firefox address bar, but not within text boxes within web pages.

My current language settings are set to US English, but I keep the others as alternates to switch back and forth between.

Not sure why, but Gmail is not loading, then Ebay shows gmail pic broken, and can't log into ebay either. I can log on bot via private window tho I have removed all ad-ons, uninstalled adblock, still no go, this happen with Some of the Firefox updates, but different sites. Thanks

I have Firefox version 136.0.2. I think it was quite recently updated. The right click menu is broken. The choice list is much longer, and the choices "open link in new tab" and "copy link" (ones I tried) do not work. This only started happening this morning. Right click works fine in Chrome. Is anyone else having issues with some pages refusing to load over the last few days. My Gmail account and my Bank of America page became intermittent over the last few days and now simply refuse to load. Both readily load on my Android phone and also load on the computer in question with Microsoft Edge. Has there been an update I missed or any other issue with such pages suddenly becoming incompatible with Firefox?

Hi, I've been using DuckDuckGo as a search engine for several years. Yesterday, I entered my search terms as usual, and all it showed me was a blank screen. Even searches that I did weeks ago simply come up blank. (see screenshot) When I searched in Google, it completed just fine. The same when I switched browsers (Chrome and Safari). This must be connected to a recent update either in Firefox or DuckDuckGo, but I can't seem to find information on how to fix it. Thanks for your help.

Yahoo and facebook are not recognizing my device and always ask for me to sign in with 2FA...Facebook asked if I want this to be a trusted device - I select Yes and next time I log in, password and text code....Yahoo Mail the same...asking for 2FA. I did not ask to be cut on and cannot turn off!!!!

My search engine has stopped working. I just get blank pages when I enter any subject in the search bar. I am forced to open a private window which always works without issues. Closely related to this problem I believe, is the fact that any online forms I try to complete and submit will not submit. Again if I copy and paste the address into a private window, I can complete and submit without any issues.

It is getting very frustrating to keep having to go private windows.

When I open a new tab, it opens fine, I get all the articles as per normal. But when I enter my search criteria I get nothing (see attached screenshots)

I can't get open tabs to sync from my other computer. Bookmarks synced and other info but I don't see anything about tabs from other devices. I've synced both ends, both are logged in and I've selected open tabs in both. Nothing,

The comment section on various sites is no longer displaying, The Federalist, Townhall, Pjmedia, Hotair, Redstate. All use disqus.com. Settings under privacy and security set to standard. Manage exceptions list all these, including disqus. Turned off, restarted, reloaded sites (not from bookmarks). Works on Edge but not Firefox. Do I just discontinue using Firefox and be done with this? Just checked Firefox for updates-says mine is up-to-date, version 136.0.2.

I'm having problems connecting to a server. I know it is a valid address because I can get it on other computers but it is now block on my computer. Is this a firewall problem and if so how do I fix it. the server address is" click.coverkit-mail2.com". How do I fix this?

As I was downloading a video from Google Photos, it showed the yellow by the download arrow and said it failed. I tried multiple file types: mpeg, jpeg, mp4, exe. I googled what to do and my answer was: Disable extensions, start in safe mode, clear cookies, clear history, clear download history. I did all that and I can still not download. I restarted my computer and nothing changed. on FF version 136.0.2
