Ok so let's start this, I was just gonna use the extension called tabliss on firefox to make the new tab thing look better but now it constantly says in the search bar, Extension and permission then the url.

Is there any way to remove this?

My yahoo mail keeps closing when I am on firefox which is the browser I use all the time. I have to keep reopening it many time in a day. I am on a pc with windows 10

I have ad block, popup blocker and youtube enhancer extensions installed, but either they are breaking youtube, and other video sites I use or they've been disabled. I've had to disable the adblockers just to be able to watch youtube. They work on the video after it starts if I re-enable them, but not on the annoying ads outside the video. But the popup blocker just keeps getting disabled no matter how many times I re-enable it. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I'm searching for a method to download video files that are formatted as a .mov files without changing the file format. Firefox browser 109.0 running on a Windows 10 PC modifies the files from .mov to .mp4 when saving the files on the PC from a cloud file storage website. Other browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge handle the file download without changing the file extension from .mov to .mp4. How to I alter the settings within FireFox to maintain the original .mov file extension?

I can login to all other accounts with the exceptions of my e-mail accounts. Why is firefox doing this or blocking this? There is no pop up of any kind. Hitting the login button for my e-mails does nothing. If I go to google browser I can login to my e-mail accounts with no problem. Should I choose to delete firefox? In About:Config there are several settings for "smoothScroll.msdPhysics", which is disabled by default. Can someone here explain for what situations this set of preferences is intended to be used? I've been unable to find only very sketchy documentation for it, and I have looked a lot.

1. Is its purpose only for touch screens, or does it also have benefits for normal desktops & laptops?

2. Does it function independently of whether or not smooth scrolling is enabled in About:Preferences?

3. There are three About:Config settings for msdPhysics springs (motionBeginSpringConstant, regularSpringConstant, and slowdownSpringConstant). What effects do each of these have as the mouse is moved or the mouse wheel is rolled or clicked? And how do their settings work (e.g. time?, lines?, pixels?)?

I am, for the last two to three weeks sufferering limited access to my Barclays online banking if I use Firefox. My bank eventually told me to use an alternate, more popular browser to access it, which I was loathe to do but it worked first time! This is not the first time Firefox has had these issues either. What are you doing about it?

As shown below, when a Microsoft word document is displayed in Firefox, the document does not show spaces between pages, nor spaces between paragraphs. The same document on Google chrome shows the spaces between paragraphs, as well as the spaces between pages. This issue only started today.

My cable TV provider (ZIGGO, Netherlands) offers an extra service which makes it possible to watch TV with a normal browser, in my case FireFox 109.0 64b. You can watch 'live' and watch recent programs. Playing live gives only few amounts of harddisk write access. However (!!!) when I playback a recent program, Firefox writes 55 Mbyte/s to 2 caches on ..\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla and ..\AppData\Local\Mozilla. I was stupified when I discovered that 3 hours of watching recent programs wrote 1700 GB (1.7 TB) to my SSD by FireFox (according to Windows 10 Task Manager). This data is produced by FireFox since my 30 days usage of internet was only 30GB. I assume FireFox writes decompressed video to cache or something. I made a temporary fix by using symbolic links from ..\AppData to an old fashioned harddisk, which has a hard time writing, when looking "non live". I looked if ZIGGO installed some kind of plugin, but could not find it.
