Hi, there.

After performing the most recent Firefox update, I was greeted with the "create a new profile prompt", rather than having it open my old one. When going to "about:profiles", ALL FILES in the Root Directory of my old, default profile have the same date as the update, or after. Not a single file is older than that and all my history and bookmarks are gone. The option "Restore Previous Session" was not shown after the update.

PLEASE HELP!!

PS: This happened on a Macbook Pro. All other profiles are the same as they were before the update, having kept all history and bookmarks.

In previous versions of Firefox, using an alternative search engine was seamless: I just typed my keywords and clicked the specific search engine icon.

With the current update, the workflow is much longer. Now I have to:

1. Type the keywords 2. Click the dropdown arrow 3. Select the alternative search engine icon 4. Hit Enter

Why was this UX change made? It feels like a step backward.

I have always been able to watch "NPR Watch" video clips. It was not functional on my new iMac with a new install of Firefox 149. I checked my laptop and it was fine on v147, but when updated to 149 it too was not functional. Please provide a step by step fix. I tried fixes available on internet without luck

Tried to access "https://www.macys.com/" and now getting messages that say "Access Denied You don't have permission to access the requested URL on this server. Reference: 0.6424c317.1775505084.b8df2147"

I gather this has something to do with the new VPN Beta Tab on my Firefox window that I didn't ask for and cannot figure out how to get rid of - or turn off.

All of my passwords were deleted from Firefox on my MacBook. I am trying to get everything to sync because the passwords are there on my desktop and they are there on my phone. However when I try to sync from my phone nothing happens. When I try to sync from the macbook it is telling me to go to Firefox on my phone and sign in on my phone. The problem is that I'm already signed in on my phone so it is really difficult to follow the instructions because what it's asking me for I'm not able to do. I'm just trying to figure out how to sync the passwords and get the passwords back in the Firefox on my MacBook.

Up until the last week, on my iMac, if I clicked on the Firefox button on my bottom toolbar, both of my main FF windows (each with multiple tabs and open all the time) would come to the front of the screen.

Now, only one window comes up and I have to specifically select the other window to see it.

Is this a new behaviour or have I inadvertently deactivated whatever it was that let me do as I have always done previously!

I can't find any setting that appears to refer to this condition.

I can"t access my individual bookmarks. One day ago, Sunday, April 5, 20226m I was able to access my list of "other bookmarks" and click on whatever I wantded. Today, April 6, 2026 I cant do that

Using cmd-tilde keys on MacBook Pro to change front viewed page no longer works reliably under Tahoe. Any workaround? Also, Firefox sometimes freezes Navigation between programs, and the only way to navigate is to quit Firefox. I'm on Tahoe 26.4 MacBook Pro 2023 M2 Max. Thanks.

Beside my VPN icon in toolbar is a circle with a exclamation mark inside. When I try to turn on VPN, I get a message that says that I cannot and to try again later. Why?
