Suddenly the backgrounds to many Firefox screens - browser, history, settings - changed from white to black. This makes it very difficult for me to read whats on these screens. How do I change them back to white?

The browser screen was black and I did that "about:config" thing and toggled the "browser.proton.enabled" to False which converted the background of the browser to back to white but all the other drop down menus are still black. The bookmark toolbar menu is black, the background of the hamburger menu is black, and the "customize menu" background is black. These areas are now difficult for me to see.

When FF developers start fooling around with colors in the FF browser they need to tread lightly and be aware of all accessibility problems their users may have. Where accessibility is concerned, one size doesn't fit all. Some people have problems with white backgrounds and others, like myself, have problems reading screens with black backgrounds. One simply MUST be aware of sight problems in users.

P.S. I tried uploading photos of the black backgrounds in question but the upload wheel just kept spinning. The photo size was within accepted parameter. Also, I tried to check the box "Email me when someone answers the thread" but that wouldnt work either.

I've been teaching my young daughter how to use a computer, and we chose firefox as a browser she can use to do some things online - in particular she's been doing Math lessons using https://www.themathsfactor.com

After the past few weeks I've noticed that sound from that site no longer seems to work after 1 or 2 days. Embedded videos work, but sound where the site has a character that tells her what to do - stops working. If I restart the browser it starts working again - however refreshing the page does not. This is something recent, as older versions of firefox did not seem to do this. I'm wondering if there is some change/memory leak that might cause this?

How do I setting Firefox to remember specific web site preferences? every time I close a tab, Firefox deletes its entering credentials. This is very annoying when QR code needed like in https://messages.google.com/.

Hello, since tooday firefox is consuming all my RAM (12g) in less than 1 min after started running, whole memory is consumed by 1 process (out of 11) without any tabs opened. I am able to close the process without any noticable issues with browser however, the same thing happens each time i open browser again and it makes my pc freeze after 2-3 min. I haven't done any update or installed anything that coud interfere with browser. Version: 95.0 Windows 7, 64bit

I cannot see any of my links such as games, groups, or read comments made to posts on my facebook page. I have opened chrome and logged into it and can see everything using it. I much prefer firefox but need help finding a way to fix this.

I have firefox as browser on my PC, I am trying to leave reviews on a couple items and each time it doesn't let me saying "Please disable any ad blockers, which can prevent successful review submission.".

I am not great with computers, so please be very detailed in how to get it to allow me to review.

Clicking Print brings up the web page, looks fine. When I click the Print Button (with the Fit to Page Width icon lit) it only prints a much larger image. Only the upper left part of the image shown in the print window is printed. Ctrl-P does the same. This started a week or so ago. If I select the test on the page, then copy it, insert it into my word processor, then Print from the Word Processor it prints fine, correct size.

Ideas?

On HGTV site, cannot submit filled out form. Click on Enter and nothing happens. On myhealth.va.gov. When fill out form to report a problem having on their website, Submit is greyed out and cannot submit form. On marlboro.com, drop down menu will not drop down.

These things work on in Firefox on my HP laptop, but stopped working in Firefox on my HP desktop. What happened and how do I fix it? Thank you

Searched the forums and web, no one seems to have answer that I have found. Firefox 95.02, Windows 10 Pro, 8 GB RAM, Dell Notebook, fiber optic Internet 156 mbps Start by running CCleaner, disable un-needed startups, extensions, ad-ons, ect., then roboot, have clean slate. About 3 months ago, after about 15 minutes Firefox slows down, then quits loading images, then eventually quits loading whole pages. If I was blocking content it would not work for at least 10 minutes. This evening, 21.38 clean boot, start FF, go to Facebook, read notifications, 1 tab open, nothing else running 21.55 images fail to load, still one tab open Researched more and ran about:memory, memory-report.json.gz unable to figure out how to upload Run CCLeaner, I do not save cookies or cache after FF closes, reboot 22.04 start Firefox, 1 tab open nothing else 22.16 images slow loading 22.20 nothing loads, try other websites like NOAA radar, all fine Reminds me I saw at the bottom left "Waiting for static.xx.fbcdn.net" Screen shot of Task Manager attached, FF running 10 times, 154 kb image will not upload Failed to upload, copying this txt and starting over. A few days ago Firefox on my Mac laptop (macOS Catalina) suddenly stopped suggesting sites I'd visited in the drop down on the address bar and is no longer auto-completing as I type into the address bar. It is set to auto-suggest based on pages from history (I unset and re-set that in settings), and to remember history. However, I noticed today that the history is near blank (it has 3 tabs from a local network page I visited but nothing from outside my local network).

I also noticed today that the copy on my laptop is no sharing with my other instances (work computer, phone). I can send tabs to it, but the tabs that are showing as being "current" when I look at other machines are from before this happened.

I've tried rebooting and restarting Firefox, but I can't seem to find any fixes for it.

file:/Desktop/Removed%20Apps.html On Thursday, November 25, 2021 9:02 AM my PC was refreshed, so says the Firefox icon that popped up on my screen, and I presume by FireFox because they removed about 25 Apps that I typically use.

1-How do I re-install them? 2- and why would they be removed?

Like other people in the forum, I'm also unable to use Location Services with Firefox. I'm running Firefox for Intel Mac version 95.0.2 and when I try to use Google Maps (or other location based services) for directions based on my current location, I'm seeing a message saying: "Google Maps does not have permission to use your location", although I did give it location access.

I tried to follow the explanation in the following post regarding the same issue: [|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1293707 ] but changing geo.provider.network.url from Google to Mozilla didn't solve my problem and I'm still unable to use location services.

Does anyone know of a solution that works?

Before i could capture network traffic of firefox browser with browsermob proxy. Suddenly unable to do it. Please find the error logs while using Firefox Driver with Selenium Java.

For some reason, randomly, and now this is occurring more and more frequently, Firefox will just hang and say that "Firefox is not responding," and I have to wait ~30 seconds for it to unfreeze and continue using Firefox. I have tried every potential solution that I could find on the Internet, such as disabling hardware acceleration, creating a new places database, etc., and I still keep getting these 30 second freezes on a pretty frequent basis. Do you guys know what might be going on?

A few weeks ago, when streaming, the videos started stopping to buffer very frequently. (It used to not happen at all. I am visiting the same websites I always have.) Each time it takes anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to buffer enough to continue playing. It pretty much ruins any movie or show that I'm watching. I use CCleaner to keep the computer clean. I have W10. I clear history on FF DAILY. My download speed on speedtest.com consistently runs between 43-48Mb.

I'm wondering if there are any settings or about:config options that will decrease this buffering and return me to smooth streaming. In "settings" I unchecked "use hardware acceleration when available" and that seemed to help for about 24 hours - so it wasn't the main problem. Is there a cache for video somewhere that I can increase, so that the streaming has enough "room"? Please forgive me; I am not the least bit tech-y, so my online searches are just tragic - I don't really know what to ask!~

Any help will be SO appreciated.
