I just opened firefox today for the first time in maybe a week and it updated to the newest version. When the browser opened, I tried to login to my tax website and found that all of my stored logins had vanished. This is most unhelpful as many of them were firefox generated. I need them back as soon as possible.

Have been asking this question for three years now. ANY PROGRESS ON KILLING FLOATING VIDEOS ??? Addons not capable of ding such. Config not capable of doing such... What is capable of doing such ?

I'm not sure about any of the following.

Is there a way to turn off the UI animations? I'm using Firefox for Ubuntu 114.0.1 (64-bit). I did a web search and some page said to open about:config and set toolkit.cosmeticAnimations.enabled to false, but when I try it it's not there. Maybe some people like these animations but I have autistic spectrum sensory sensitivities and the dots jiggling back and forth when a page is loading and the swoosh on the tab when it loads, among other things, are making me dizzy.

Hello, I have two websites that I've designed with cursive fonts in some headers. Whereas they display in other browsers, they do not display in Firefox. I asked this question years ago, and to date, no one has provided an answer.

Not only do the headers not display the cursive font: savoye let and allura, what they show are enlarged and bold letters that completely destroy the design. Surely, there is a reason for this.

Sometimes when I open different programs on my computer and have firefox open at the same time all my firefox windows will stop fitting to my screen. (See images). Programs that it has happened with is VS code and the built in windows 10 mail app. It usually happens when I have VScode in fullscreen and then pull it down to make it windowed.

My setup consists of 2 1920x1080 monitiors and any instance of firefox on either monitor will get this issue at when using VScode or the mail app.

Only solution that fixes it is to open a new instance of firefox and drag all my tabs into it.

Been on the same setup for 3 years using chrome previously with this never being an issue. Switched to firefox a few months ago and this has happened pretty regularly.

Image 1 is when the window is in focus, image 2 is when the window is not in focus.

Happy to provide additional information/video of it happening if needed.

Some websites display the letters "fi" as "Y". This seems to be a problem in translating the ASCII code to English text. This doesn't happen on all websites but Wikipedia seems to be the main culprit.

Any suggestions how I can fix it?

Incidentally, this only happens on my MacBook; not on my desktop Mac. And both are using the latest version of Firefox.

Hello Firefox, am I alone in having problems with logging in to nsandi.com? I have tried using Firefox in Private and Normal modes but the result is either 'sorry an error has occurred' or the login process goes round in circles. I have to resort to Chrome, which logs me in normally. I am using the latest version of Firefox (as at 20/06/2023) and Windows 10 (last updated 14/06/2023) and verified using cmd sfc... When I open "Wheel of Fortune" and click on "Log-in", nothing happens. I am unable to log-in. Using another browser, I have no problem.

Anyone with a suggestion or solution for me?

We use a GPS tracking tool https://fleet.cyntrx.com to track trucks. Starting this morning when we log in the map view does not display in live view, all we get is a white/blank display where the map should be. If we track history the map displays. When we try site in Edge it works perfectly. When we try in Firefox on another PC it works perfectly. Tried resetting the PC to no avail. Any suggestions.

I log into my bank (in Australia) NAB almost every day. For about several weeks now when I successfully log in to the site it says "Service Temporarily Unavailable. Please try Later". However, if I use Chrome and log in (immediately after trying it wit Firefox) it logs in every time.

Can you please help me understand what might be stopping me from using Firefox on NAB website?

Firefox is not displaying all ICONs and color from websites like Office 365. ICON show as text boxes and the one line version of Excel will not display color. I have included pictures of both. Both show correctly in all other browsers. I prefer Firefox but with these issues, I cannot use it. I also notice that on this page after I uploaded the pictures only a - showed for each. I have also noticed that when checking boxes or making selections for many sites there is no indication of the selection being made. For instance, I clicked the e-mail me box but no check appeared so please e-mail me anyway.

I started Firefox and apparently it was being updated. When I finally got into the browser, it was totally vanilla. All the old information, bookmarks, toolbar information, were missing. I am using Windows11 Home. If I go to Firefox on my phone, all seems to be the same as it always has been. What happened to my toolbars, etc?

Whenever I make a bookmark, it automatically puts it in the Bookmark Toolbar, but I want it to default to the Bookmark Menu. I can't find any way to do that and can't find any good information about it. One site said I needed an ad-on, but I shouldn't need that for something so simple that used to work fine on my old computer with Firefox. I can't find any settings for this at all.

Please help me fix this.

When I click a mailto link it brings up the GMail app. Instead I want the Yahoo Compose window. Several posts suggest various arcane methods. Either they do not apply or they require hacking. Has the situation improved?

How can I make mailto links go to the Compose window on mail.yahoo.com?

The Pizza Hut Rewards site won't complete login. It just has a o with \ through it. After a while, the reCAPTCHA will say that it timed out and need to check box again. I do that but, it still doesn't complete.

I called Pizza Hut Rewards and they told me to use Google Chrome (which I don't trust).

I have tried this in both regular and Private Browsing mode with same results.

Hello! For some reason I can't add separate icons for extension quick menus to the address bar area and am only able to add the extensions "master" button which shows a list of extensions without going to the settings page. I've tried to go to customize toolbar to add the extension icons to the bar but none of them show up, and I know for a fact that the extensions have icons, I've added them to the bar on other computers.
