Amazon site requests load(s) Edge Browser repeatedly-even without clicking on Amazon site w/in FF browser, the Edge browser launches. Current Ver.: 112.0.1 (64-bit)

Have set default browser to FF via Mozilla General page. Will send any logs required. Have attached post-Edge load screen shot. Please advise. ~WW

"Instaverse" Program lets scriptures appear after a mouse over in Firefox. Why will it not work since the 112 update and download? Worked all right until updates and downloads after March 22, 2023.

Currently, my tab preview only show the top of the page, not in the exact position I am currently on in that page! This has made it difficult to track my whereabout!

Can anything be done about this!

I've got this weird behavior happening where if my window is closed from maximize, which saves the browser's size, and I open it, it will first open in maximize then size down to the same size.

In other words, Firefox will always open the window to a specific size regardless of what it was when I closed it. This is extremely annoying.

Is this part of resisting fingerprinting? This is some unusual behavior that I haven't seen Firefox do before ever.

I can provide a little video if my explanation wasn't clear.

Hi everyone, I am currently using Firefox "112.0.1 (64-bit)" on Windows 10 "10.0.19045 Build 19045]"

I have problems using almost all Google websites: most of the times they do not load at first attempt, and when they do they do not works properly. As example: Youtube does not load (or the cached version says that there is no internet connection), then after a few attempts it loads but all thumbnails on the home are gray.

On another browser (Edge) all websites works normally.

Using private window has the same problem, I have no extension and no plugin other than OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc. and Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.. I tried emptying cache and also reinstalling Firefox.

The only fix I found on the web is to disable hardware acceleration from settings. If I disable it and restart the browser, then all websites works normally. Actually I can't see this as fix but as a workaround, since I am using a notebook and I'd like to use my GPU for video decoding and save energy.

Maybe I am missing something? Is there something I can do? Thanks.

When I close Firefox 112, I get a duplicate Firefox icon in my dock.

I have a 24" IMAC and am running Ventura 13.2.1

How do I stop these extra icons from planting themselves in my dock.

This just started yesterday, with the download of 112.

Good evening, I've some problem with firefox sometime it don't start (if I restart Ububtu 22 kernel 6.0.0 in use firefox start) and some times when I try to save an image it crash an close. Here below you can find the crash code error. Thanks a lot for the support

Is there a way to permanently disable red underlining from Firefox spell check? This has only started occurring since an update to Firefox 110 (now on 112), but there seems to be no way to make it go away. I've unchecked the spelling box in preferences, and killed off things in about:config:

I'm using Mac Monterey, and have the global spell check turned off for that. This seems to be a problem specific to Firefox, as it doesn't happen in Chrome (spellcheck off) or Safari. I'd like to remove this entirely, since it's distracting to have it second guessing me whenever I'm typing. The main reason I use Firefox is that it gives me the ability to control many things, particularly in combination with UBlock, but I'm unable to make any progress in removing this persistent work disruption.

I need to change my email address. The old email address is disabled and doesn't work. I have a new email address johnlorenzosr@gmail.com and can't get a code from the old one which doesn't work anymore. What do I do.

Before I refreshed Firefox, I always had a blank Yahoo! search bar at the top of any page. It was very useful but it's gone and I don't know how to get it back. Can someone help me with this?

Unlike Chrome, if you drag n drop a bookmark, it is saved with the url as a title. You need to click the star for the bookmark to be saved normally.

Any plans on changing that?

The old ff had a list of drop down menus at the top. File, Edit, View, Bookmarks, Tools. I know it can be pulled up by hitting the alt key but is there a way to Keep it there permanently always available

i use two screens, I use firefox to open in monitor 1 (left), then click "new window" (which also opens in monitor one. I the drag and drop the second window to monitor 2 and maximize it..in the older version of firefox (pre 112.0.1) I could go back to the taskbar on monitor one, hover over the firefox icon and it would show two mini versions of my two open windows. Both windows would remain open, nothing would change. But now when i hover over the icon I still get two mini firefox windows but when i hover my cursor over the left mini window (which shows monitor 1) the main window on monitor 2 closes (minimizes) automatically...and vice versa...how can i fix this??

How do I stop Firefox showing a periodic ADVERTISEMENT INSTEAD OF MY HOME PAGE? This has happened several times now, I open my browser, expecting to be at my home page with all my links etc, but no, it's a F&%&*$G ADVERTISEMENT! Uhm, so guess what, not interested, don't ever advertise to me. I will NEVER use your VPN, Simply because you hijacked my browser and advertised directly to my PC. Disgusting Practice and if it happens again or there is no way to turn it off then Mozilla will join the List of Companies that myself and my thousands of followers already Boycott widely on Social Media. This could hurt your reputation on an extreme level (ie. imagine every kid that loves a certain sports drink right now suddenly calling for the demise of Mozilla, ouch)...... I suggest you proceed VERY VERY carefully before providing me a response.
