When I try to save a Google doc, I get "Something went wrong" error message. I've tried all of Google's troubleshooting tips plus contacted Google support with no success. I can save Google docs successfully in Chrome, but Firefox is my preferred browser. Google support asked me to check if I had Firefox set up to block Google drive, but I didn't know how to check for that. They told me Tools>Options>Privacy, but I don't see "Options" under the "Tools" menu.

I notice that this issue with Google docs started after I got the pop-up on 10/31/22 from Firefox about their new themes and tabs. I accidentally clicked "yes" and now have another problem. I can't read the screen and can't figure out how to go back to the default setting. Community says to try a different theme, but none of them works for me. I just want to go back to the default setting for themes and tabs. Not sure if this issue with themes caused the problem with Google drive.

After the most recent Firefox update, my browser has been repeatedly crashing multiple times a day, but it doesn't even show up in the crash reports tab. In fact, the oldest crash report had been from August. It'll start by freezing up, and then it will stop responding, and even if I wait for a bit, it never starts up again. Sometimes I cant even close it normally (like with the "would you like to close (insert program) or wait for it to respond?) panel) and have to resort to using the task manager. Other browsers work just fine, but Firefox has been a long time favorite, so I'm hesitant to stop using it altogether despite it's current issues.

I've tried just about everything, including troubleshooting mode - it still crashes - and refreshing it repeatedly. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, doing full scans of my computer multiple times for malware - coming up empty - and doing full computer restarts as well. Nothing I've done has managed to work, and every other suggestion is something I've already tried. I'm even beginning to think it's a problem with my PC itself, even though Firefox is the only thing having this issue.

This never happened before the most recent update, and my current version is 106.0.2. I'm not sure what to do now, and I'm very tech-illiterate, so I'd like some help please.

crash reports - I KNOW you asked for 5 or 10, but this may show the SCALE of the issue (BTW, I'm on Manjaro / KDE, all software up to date as of 11/1/22 17:30)

Not sure which update caused the issue, since I've been delaying updates for a little while (maybe 15 days or so). Immediately after starting Firefox, the Intel graphics driver stops working, which causes Firefox to hang on a white screen. The windows warning is something close to "Intel graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered". The only way I can start Firefox is in troubleshoot mode. I tried disabling hardware acceleration, which solves the problem but I'd like to keep using the GPU so it's not really a good solution. So I forced Firefox to use the NVIDIA GPU (gtx 960m) on the NVIDIA control panel. This worked, Firefox starts and works as normal again but within just a few hours has already caused the NVIDIA GPU drivers to stop responding once, prompting Firefox to stop responding too and hang on a white screen. Restarting Firefox fixed the problem. This might have been a fluke but I'd like to keep using the Intel integrated GPU, if possible.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and my laptop has an i7-4720HQ (Intel HD Graphics 4600) and a GTX 960m. I'm using the latest version of Firefox 106.0.2

Any idea what might be causing the problem? I haven't had any trouble with either GPU on any other occasion

Hi, can i ask you please don't publish new Version of Mozilla Firefox everyday? I use it and everyday and every Time that i open it, there is a new Version of Firefox, that i should download. please first make all of changes and after that maybe one Time per Month is okey but not every Hour and every Day. I manage several systems that use various ports. I cannot get any override to work making firefox useless to do my job.

It seems like a malware but I ran a few different tools and nothing was found. Every time I search something is shows google results for half a second then goes to Bing. Any ideas?

i accidentally deleted 1 month out of my history from the side tab, is there any way to retrieve it back, i have not shut down FF as yet. thank you in advance. Garry (member)

Hello. Why does the safe search option when I search for something repeatedly change from where I set it, at "off," to "moderate?" It's very annoying to have to keep changing it back to off. Does it change to moderate on its own when I clear the cache? If so, why is there not a setting in preferences so it's permanently set to whatever I want it to be until I change it, cache clearing or not?

Thanks for any help on this. Recently I was organizing fonts on my machine [macbookpro] and something happened to Arial, the font that Firefox uses. I've uploaded some screenshots. The letters are all jumbled up. I tried to investigate a solution in my preference folder but couldn't find anything about resting a font.

I don't want any part of my sites exposed to the wider internet, so I'm not going to have ssl certificates.

I don't want to use self signed certificates either. Since it's all local, http is fine. Firefox should not override access of http to https.

At this point, I can only assume this is a bug?

A. On the taskbar in windows 11 i cannot immediately see that i have for instance 4 windows open. Is there a possibility to see four firefox icons? B. And when i shut down firefox, then via restart, the windows that i've opened seem to return in a random way when i put the arrow on the firefox icon. Can i set firefox to always put my most used window, for instance the window that has the most pinned tabs, at the left side?

Firefox instructions for creating an electronic signature tell you to go to "Options" in the "tools" list, which I assume is the list under the three parallel lines in the upper right corner. There is no "Options" section in this list on my browser, either by itself or under one of the other categories in the list, or anywhere else that I can find on the browser website. So I can make no progress. Suggestions?

Hello, since the last FF update a week or so ago, I am now required to log in to EVERY single site that I seem to go to (AOL, Facebook, Twitter, Weebly (my own web site), and many others). Before the update, I would only need to log in to these web sites every so often. Is there something I can do to eleviate this? Thank you.

Some websites that should have pictures or animations within the body of their text are not showing up any more (the animations). Also, some websites have buttons to click that no longer work; it's not that any info is missing from input fields; the buttons simply don't work. Actual Example: I recently reformatted my hard drive a few days ago & re-downloaded and installed Firefox. Sometime later on, I signed into my McAfee account, although I kept receiving webpage error messages after sign-in stating the webpage I was seeking didn't exist. However, upon clicking on other buttons, it turned out I was actually signed-in. I went ahead and went to the download section of my account to re-download and install McAfee. No matter how many times I clicked the download button, nothing would happen. I established a chat session with McAfee Support; the Support Agent replied that others had complained about the same thing while using Firefox and the issue had been communicated to Mozilla, who supposedly knows about this and is working on a fix. The tech support agent advised me to use some other browser to download McAfee; I used Edge and the issue was successfully side-stepped. In the meantime, other websites that always have embedded animations or buttons to click don't work any more, either. Firefox has been my default browser of choice for years, but I have to go through the inconvenience to signing-out of whatever website I'm on and re-sign into that website again with Edge; a real pain. Please fix ASAP, and please give us a heads-up when this might be fixed, thanks.
