We are running FF ESR 78.14.0. I see that ESR 91.1 is now out. I have seen this article on Firefox ESR release cycle, but not able to find out what the schedule is (ie overlap) for 78 and 91 releases. I am trying to do some upgrade planning. I expect 91.2 will auto upgrade and like to know how soon, otherwise I may need to manual update machines.

It would be nice if this page could be kept up to date for the relevant releases.

Driving the question is a specific issue with QuickBooks Payments not working in 78, which I am assuming has to do with something they consider obsolete security wise.

seriously finding that it appears Everyone is losing open tabs with the update mozilla- this is a serious breach of trust

i have looked at several answers to the MANY posts with the exact same issue and it appears that the only solution is to have programmer level skills or suck it up

i have loved firefox for Years - and i have Never heard of anyone having such a stupid upgrade problem with No Warning

have you lowered your standards that much

(as this is the only place i can offer feedback, as there is nothing to actually connect to mozilla - take this as a small request for assistance from the community and a large wtw to the company)

I duped my old profile on Firefox to isolate my different use case. I duped it by overwriting everything from a new profile folder created with about:profiles by contents of the old profile folder. At first the pinned tiles I changed on the new about:home also changed the old profile. Then I found that extentions enabled in Private mode are also shared between the profiles and will leak through it. Just last night I found that even browsing history is added to both profiles without the other one caching favicons, deleting history does not affect the other one though. User configuration seems to be isolated though including toolbar layout and extentions can be disabled independently. I found this to only affect duped profiles as I created a fresh new one to test the above phenomenon and none of them are present. In addition to this machine, my GNU/Laptop also has the same issue with Librewolf and profiles are only duped from the respective browsers, so I think it is OS agnostic.
