Firefox bookmarks not displayed on the start screen, despite they are enabled in settings and I have at least 10 bookmarks. Besides I have neither extensions nor synchronization, which could change bookmarks or smth. How to fix?
Hi, I'm running 88.01. should it update automatically to 89. If I install manually I lose my bookmarks, is that normal?
Some pages will bookmark, others will not.

My recollection is that when I used to want to reassign a bookmark to a different folder, I just brought up the bookmarked page and used the ctrl+D shortcut to add it to the new folder--and the old bookmark was gone. Now it seems that when I do that, the old bookmark remains, so that I now have the same page bookmarked in two places. Is this a change I was not aware of? Is there a different procedure to move (rather than duplicate) the bookmark?

Today all my bookmarks disappeared. I have no chance to install them again. Neither with the star nor with the menue. I followed all recommendations of firefox to repair it. The bookmark bar is still there. But with no content.

At one time, when clicking "Bookmarks" on the Menu Bar, the second choice on the dropdown used to say "Bookmark this page." Now I see it says "Bookmark current tab."
Looking at some older YouTube instructional videos show that the "page" wording did indeed used to be used.
Does anyone know roughly with what release that change of wording occurred?
(BTW, hovering over the star at the end of the address field does still show the "Bookmark this page" wording.)

I can add a bookmark, export the list, the new bookmark shows, but the list is not the current bookmarks. this new list contains bookmarks that I had deleted, and are not in my current bookmarks!

I hope to find out how I can use bookmarks easier. Is there a way to bring up a list of all my bookmarks with only 1 click of the mouse? Right now when I hit the small star icon it then makes me click 1 of several choices. It would be much more convenient to need only 1 click to open the entire list. Secondly I want to arrange permanently the bookmarks in alphabetical order but even if I do this successfully the next time I open the bookmark list they are not in order. This happens every time I try to fix it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

After syncing the bookmarks on both machines for the first time, the Mac can no longer save new bookmarks or edit old ones. The PC, on the other hand, is fine. I don't know if something went awry during the sync process or if this problem has nothing to do with that, but the timing is suspicious.
I tried disconnecting the Mac and PC, turning off sync, and restarting Firefox, but that didn't solve the problem. Then I ran the Verify Integrity check on the Mac and got this result:

Another possible issue is that I recently installed the following extensions on the Mac: Disconnect, Facebook Container, HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin. The PC already runs all those extensions except for HTTPS Everywhere. I also just installed Bitdefender antivirus on the Mac. I've been using Bitdefender on the PC for years with no issues.
Any thoughts on what I should do next? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Good afternoon. My Firefox has been updated to the new version but I noticed that the font size in my bookmarks dropdown menu has increased. I would prefer to make it smaller as it used to all fit in one column without the need to scroll. Could someone tell me how, or if this can be done with the new version?
