I have a firefox account that I use for work, which was created with my personal email address - "email"@"personalDomain".co.uk. When I try to log in using it I get a message saying that "personalDomain.co.uk" is not a valid email address. How can I log into my account which was created using this email address? The email address is valid and active, and I do have access to it.

I haven't upgraded browser versions for a while and I'm now going from 109 to 132. Pretty bad I know.

I'm having a number of issues but for this post I'd like to concentrate on userChrome.css.

In version 109, I had a custom font for the top menu bar, the top menus, the bookmark toolbar, the bookmark toolbar menus, and the right click menus. I did this by including the following in userChrome.css (as per [https://support.mozilla.org/si/questi.../1335097|here]:

1. navigator-toolbox { font-family:"MyFont" !important }

This worked great, but it is no longer working in version 132. Obviously I don't know in which Firefox version this stopped working.

Has this been disabled by Mozilla or has it been changed? If it's been changed, how can I achieve it now?

I GOT TIRED OF FREQUENT FIREFOX CRASHES (C0000005) IN BOTH THE 64-BIT AND 32-BIT DESKTOP VERSIONS. I HAVE BEEN USING THE 64-BIT VERSION IN WINDOWS 11 (I HAVE A HIGH-END SAGER LAPTOP WITH 32GB RAM. I INSTALLED THE FREQUENT FIREFOX UPDATES BUT THE PROBLEN PERSISTED EVER SINCE VERSIONS 42X WERE RELEASED. I TRIED THE 32-BIT VERSION BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTED. FINALLED, I TRIED THE DEVELOPER VERSION: NO MORE CRASHES! I READ THE RESPONSES FROM YOUR CLUELESS STAFF TO OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME TROUBLE. THIS IS NOT A WINDOWS ERROR; THIS IS A FIREFOX APPLICATION ERROR. MAYBE SOME OF YOUR FIREFOX DEVELOPER CODERS SHOULD ASSIST THE 32-BIT AND 64-BIT DEVELOPERS. OR, DUMP THE VERSION 4X CODE AND BUILD ON THE MORE STABLE 39X CODE. ALSO, DON'T BLAME WINDOWS FOR FIREFOX APPLICATION ERRORS. AND...NEVER SUGGEST A WINDOWS REINSTALL FOR FIREFOX ERRORS!!!

For years I had my Firefox sync working fine between Win10 PC, Android and several Win10 laptops. However yesterday I installed Windows 11 on the same PC I have Windows 10 (bought new disk) just to have a fresh install. Started with installing firefox - and here when problems begin. It couldn't let me log in into Sync, I was being immediately logged out ("Account disconnected"). Somehow I managed to log in, but then all my previous data was erased (passwords, bookmarks). I thought ok, maybe later it's gonna sync. Started installing extensions, saved one password. When trying to sync tabs with Android phone it didn't work, it couldn't see any tabs (but it could share tabs between devices!). On Android I still have old passwords and bookmarks saved, same as on old Win10 (on which I got logged out). Alright - it didn't sync after restart so I removed Firefox profile on machine, started again with logging in - and it synced only ONE password that I saved previously on same Win11 machine, with extensions I freshly installed back then. So it saved to sync improper data, forgetting about old? Logged out from all of my machines in Firefox Account. Now I'm back to my original machine on Windows 10. And what? I can't log in! Same error as on Win11 after install - "Account disconnected". Checked about:sync-log and found error logs - pasted into "Troubleshooting information" of this post.

New addons on Firefox become blank on restarting the browser.

They return when I manually disable and enable them once.

How to fix this? Doesn't happen to older addons.

I'm on Developer Edition of Firefox. In previous versions of Firefox (Probably 132), I could share the window just fine, but since an update to either Teams or Firefox, it just results in a blank screen for viewers.

Hello why my firefox installation 1440b6 64 bit on windows 10 do not autocomplete the third field in a form login ..

namely , username and identification password are correctly filled , but the third field (that in my case are named "company ID") would not, it remain empty, and i need to manually fill in each time. Actually this happen only on a one site , but may be because only this site that i use have a three field to fill in the login page...all the others need only password and username

Since version 148.0b2 (64-bit), it's once again not possible to enter search terms in the search box of a new tab; instead, the browser searches in the address bar. I've had all the settings I found in the forums configured correctly for over five years, and they haven't changed. - browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar = False. Despite this, the search still occurs in the address bar. Now I'm back to the awful search in the address bar. How can I fix this? Please fix this bug as soon as possible.

Jetzt geht es aber wieder mit der Schrecklichen suchen in der Adresszeile los. Wie kann ich dies ändern? Bitte diesen Fehler (Bug) schnellst möglich beheben.

This seems like a relatively new feature that I don't see a setting to toggle. How would I disable the drag-and-drop area at the top of the vertical tabs which prompts me to pin the tab?

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (Firefox-Mozilla kinda encourages using their tools to block cookies, which I much prefer), and I CANT FIND WHERE TO ALLOW (not yelling its just that I said this before and it wasn't noticed) cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences all I could find was under privacy & security cross-site cookies but that did nothing) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to try (I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I did get the following reply, saying to allow cookies (BUT I DON"T KNOW HOW OR WHERE TO DO IT) and something about a new browser profile and to stay out of my sync account, and I APOLOGIZE, but I have no clue what all that means. What is a broweser profile, what is a sync account and how do I stay out of it? I guess well I know i'm not too smart about this kinda stuff, so I apologize but I think I need detailed step by step what to do to fix this. I know thats a lot of typing, sorry.

using Firefox Developer Edition Version 130.0b5 (64-bit)

https-only mode is enabled for all windows enabled, with a couple exceptions. one of those exceptions is www.bom.gov.au , which does not support that mode. anytime someone tries to open a page from there in said mode, leads to a page that redirects to it's homepage, highlighting that it is unsupported, and changing from any specific url to the redirect url.

in the past it worked well to have this page listed under the exceptions for https-only, always loaded without a hitch. but now it's treating the page as not an exception. i've removed it from the exception list and tried loading, re-added and tried loading, but the result is always the same. can anyone please help?

Over the last five hours, I have gotten 27 emails from Firefox Monitor for this data breach, for the same email address. I have already marked the breach as resolved in Monitor but I keep getting emails. Is there anything I can do about it?

My bank has recently switched the position of 'online' and 'bank name' in its login URL. How can I delete all history for the old URLs (e.g. Bankname*) without deleting history for all non-bank-related URLs?

Currently, when I try and open downloaded .txt files and .log files (that is, when I click on them directly from the download pop-up that appears at the top-right of the browser), Firefox inexplicably opens Aegisub on my machine as the app to use. This is in contrast to when I open it directly from within my file browser, where it opens the Kate text editor, as suggested by the default app option in the permissions of the filetype.

How do I change the apps Firefox uses to open downloaded files? I've tried going into my settings and looking at applications, but .txt and .log don't appear, so I'm not quite sure what to do.

I'm on Kubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, using the Firefox deb package.

I really enjoy the new sidebar revamp, but I've had an issue with it recently that I haven't been able to find a solution for. Typically, the settings gear is supposed to be situated near the bottom of bar. However, as demonstrated in the attached image, it is at the top near the bookmarks and history buttons. I have tried reinstalling the browser from scratch, turning the sidebar on and off, turning vertical tabs on and off, and even getting rid of my custom CSS theme for a time. None of these have worked. If anyone knows what the root of this issue is, I'd really appreciate the help.

Hello👋 I am using firefox developers edition on build 132.0b2 and my UI is not rendering correctly, the themes work but the objects like the bookmarks toolbar and the refresh button and the home button even some of my extensions is not loading and other things also not loading, but fortunately I know the keyboard shortcuts for these functions and they are working just fine but all the buttons are just not there My device is a Dell Latitude E7450 and it has a normal core I5 5300U so it is not an x86 arm based processor I hope that you find a solution ASAP as I am really struggling with my browser like this and btw I really love your work and the products that you give Thanks for doing the hard work! bye
