Firefox browser, v123.0.1, 64-bit. windows 10 Pro, 22H2.

Hello, this may not be a problem with Firefox itself at all, but I'd like to try to understand what the cause of the problem I and others are having.

I have Norton 360 installed, in this Windows 10 computer and like to use Firefox for internet browsing, it has always served me well.

I also have Norton Safe Search integrated/add-on to Firefox. This puts a red, green, or gray check mark at the end of each link that comes up during a search and has always worked before.

Recently, I've noticed that such check marks do not appear at all when doing a search with Firefox, but they are present when I do searches with MS Edge.

I am searching for a solution here, and also in the Norton Community. There are others there who have stated they are having the same problem.

Has anyone here heard of this before, would you have any suggestion as to what may be causing the lack of the Norton Safe Search check marks in Firefox searches?

Any input/suggestions would be welcome.

When I would mouse-over a thumbnail on the Youtube home page I use to get a video preview with sound and text controls displayed. Video preview and controls are now missing on homepage thumbnails. Is there a way to get preview and controls back ?

I cleared the cache and cookies...no effect. Problem does not exist with Edge browser.

Using Windows 10 / Firefox browser 125.0.3 (64-bit)

My Windows virus protection shows nothing but I keep getting notices int he lower right corner of my screen that say Mozilla Firefox ESR and tell me there is an infection. It tries to take me to a website to scan and then buy McAfee to fix it. If I make sure Firefox is shut down (forced through Task Manager) it seems to go away. It appears that only the Firefox browser may be infected.

Since upgrading to the last version, 125.0.3 I'm getting tab crashes. Is there any way to go to a previous version? I have not had any issues with the websites I'm visiting until this new version of Firefox.

I'm trying to determine if I'm having a Firefox issue or not. I've been using Firefox for many years and frequently use private windows.

I've got a new laptop with Windows 11 and have been noticing that my private windows are sometimes closing unexpectedly. After which, I can't get my tabs back. This has only happened with private windows, and not regular windows.

Is this an issue that's being reported in the community? Thanks.

After the browser update earlier today I cannot log into 'You Tube TV'. The browser keeps asking for my email and password over and over and never signs me in. It keeps telling that I am signed out and need to sign in, over and over. I cleared my cache and cookies. I changed my sign in from my yahoo email to my gmail account and it still will not work. If I use the chrome browser it works fine. Please Help.

I have read through the user threads and tried everything I could find including malware searching and, of course, setting google as my search preference but no matter what I try the splash page for Firefox (re-installed twice) is Yahoo. Has anyone found a cure for this issue on their Mac - my Mac parameters are in the attached screenshot.

I had someone breaking into a number of my accounts. They used my account to sign into Firefox. And I got an account authorization code, but I'm afraid to use the email in case it is them getting more info!!

I post or write something on my homepage. I then want to share my post to groups I belong to. I hit the share button and get this new and poorly designed response to share. I go to the 'group' share icon. It then lists the groups I'm a member of. So far so good. I then click on one of my groups that I want to share the post with. I get a response, like previously before this new change, allowing to write something to the group along with the post/image I want to share. But there is no 'share' button that allows me to share the post. When this hideous new change came into effect there was a sliver of blue at the bottom, obviously from the share button, and clicking on this allowed me to share my post. Unfortunately, the next day when I attempted to share my post, the blue sliver disappeared and there was no way I could share it to a group. For some reason I cannot take a screenshot of what I'm writing about. Your thoughts?

hi the translate fucion in firefox is vry usefull, but i want to NOT TRANSLATE ANYTHING EXCEPT sites i select only

i.e. surfing around german site.. .leave it german, but i if i am interest in "german.de/talkshow" select it and translate only this

i see option to translate EVERYTHING and use some exception, but its the opposite of what looking for

I've been trying to delete cookies and site data multiple times and it will not delete, even after multiple attempts to fix it. Such as deleting Mozilla folder in file explorer and downloading an extension to delete cookies and cache. Everything else gets deleted fine except for 2 sites.

I can hear NO AUDIO on ANY webpage, when in Firefox. I have gone through all the suggestions on this page: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-to-do-if-firefox-wont-play-any-...] but still have the problem.

Web cam image on web page stopped working after last update. Using win 11. Tried refresh, worked last time but not this time, checked permission security settings. Can get the camera image on a tablet but not laptop. (lenovo) Anything I might have missed?

I have Screwfix.com as a bookmark in my Firefox browser(default) and have recently found that I am unable to log in to Screwfix.

Screwfix tell me that I should be able to log in using Microsoft Edge (I can) but I prefer Firefox!

Can you sort this out for me please?

I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?

Hi and thanks for your help. I was playing around with my DMARC settings for my new site and was looking around at who was hosting my WordPress domain for http://ibizignite.com, and Google directed me to GoDaddy. That was wrong. However, in my fooling around, somehow GoDaddy and this associate Westechnologies keeps popping up when I open up my browser after booting up my computer, and I cannot get rid of it. I don't know where to find it, because there is no associated extension anywhere in my extension list.

I tried to use another add-on to block it, and it does, but the darn site keeps appearing every startup after a fresh boot, and neither Westechnologies not GoDaddy appear anywhere in my Zone Map or anywhere else in my registry. Can anyone help me get rid of it please?

The file icons on by desktop were always the standard color but now the are blue and white why did this happen. I know I can change each one back individually but how can I change them in mass.
