When a video is popped out, in PiP mode, and the "owning" page is scrolled such that the video "origin" scrolls off the viewport, the PiP video pauses. If the video is started again, and the page is scrolled more, it will re-pause.

This seems to be a Firefox behaviour and not a site-specific one.

Is there a setting to keep the video to continue playing?

This would be helpful on Twitter/X, for example, when scrolling the timeline with a PiP playing from a tweet.

when using the built-in Payment Methods feature in Firefox, I find it quite difficult to distinguish between multiple saved cards, especially when they are visually very similar.

In my case, I’m working with several Stripe test cards for development, and they often only differ in subtle details (like the last digits). This makes it easy to pick the wrong card during checkout or testing.

Is there currently a way to add a custom description or label to a saved payment card (for example “Stripe test – successful payment” or “Stripe test – 3D Secure”) that would be shown in the card selection dialog?

If not, is this something that’s planned or already discussed as a potential improvement? From a developer’s perspective, this would be a big usability win.

When I try to visit a specific journal site that requires authentication, the browser automatically redirects me to an authentication page that I have used before. This is very annoying because every time I click a link to the journal, I’m sent to the other portal and can’t access the article. I want to stress that I haven’t installed any add‑on that would cause this redirection. I think I did that myself manually but I have no idea how. I’ve already deleted the cookies for both sites, but nothing has changed. I hope that makes sense, it’s a bit difficult to explain.

I'm using firefox 147.0, on mac Tahoe 26.2.

Hi, I set a primary password so that this is required when I first sign in to Firefox but although the request for the password shows up, I realise I only need to press 'cancel' and firefox is opened.

My old laptop computer completely died. I installed Firefox on my new computer. However, after signing back into Firefox, my stored passwords and tabs were not available. How do I find/recover saved login passwords and tabs? I am a long-time Firefox user and had a lot of stored information that I assumed would follow my account.

Moved from Windows to Mac and now facing this issue, so it seems to be a Firefox + Mac OS compatibility issue.

Have turned on screen recording permissions in Mac settings and some other accessibility permissions that have been suggested and nothing helps.

Will need to use a different browser just to screen share.

From time to time I can’t clear my Firefox history. I try from the menu, then within the settings, to no avail. I restarted Firebox and even my Mac, and the history remains. I used CleanMyMac to empty the cache and the history is still there.

one website is timing out, I started to have problem yesterday. I was able to load when I tethered with my iphone.

before that I tried

Closed all the application rebooting Mac tried on Safari

             Google chrome

with no success

Chrome says it's 504 error

I am on Mac and our company uses Google Workspace tools. Over the past few weeks my google pages are continually loading and lose connectivity. When I run Chrome I never have this issues.

I ran developer tools network. I see lots and lots of ns_binding_aborted errors.

What can I do to ensure Google plays nicely with Firefox. I really don't want to use Chrome but this issue is making it hard to use.

I want to stop Firefox from asking to save passwords. In settings/passwords the checkbox is checked but greyed out, so I cannot uncheck it. Why is it greyed out and how can I stop Firefox from asking to save every password?

firefox is keeping me from accessing certain sites. why. do i need to switch to safari to access the sites. they do load on safari. can it be fixed or do i need to change?

I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox. Now when I try to login to a platform, my verification codes to my phone are coming through too slow. What is causing the delay?
