After updating FF to v. 136.0 in Linux Mint 22.04, I noticed a problem with video playback in Facebook in some posts. A black screen appears with the message "Sorry, there were problems playing this video". The problem also occurs after disabling all plugins and deleting the user.js file from the profile. The problem does not occur after starting firefox in troubleshoot mode, but then hardware acceleration using the GPU does not work (Compositing: WebRender (Software)). EVERYTIME I TRY TO SIGN IN TO ASSURANCE WIRELESS ON FIREFOX THIS IS WHAT I GET SEE IMAGE. I NEED HELP HERE it was as of last week now i can not get into it i tried everything but restoring firefox because i do not want to lose everything . please help

How can we help? Simple, fix the problem. This issue is nothing new. All you do is make a list of things to try. Most are useless, if not all. .....Here is the problem in case you can't wrap your head around it..: When looking at FOX BREAKING NEWS, I go to comments, I begin to comment and the page suddenly jumps to the bottom, or halfway down, it doesn't stay. Probably from all the ads flashing and changing......Can you fix it? Or is this browser so screwed up it's beyond saving. Should I hold my breath?

To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. On platform X, this message is always displayed. I need to adjust something, but I don't know. Please help.

Hello, for some reason after the update I can no longer load the game Elvenar, when I type in the name and then click on any link i'm getting https://en-play.elvenar.com/?lps_flow=after_glps_shim

and the page won't load and I have a black screen as per the screenshot

About three weeks ago Google Calendar became completely illegible in Firefox. Everything appears in a miniature font. All my other Google applications--mail, docs, voice, translate--operate as they should.

While opening any Google Drive folder, or by opening docs/sheets start page, none of the contents show up. In the bottom left corner there is an error: "The server has encountered an error. Please try again later." . No amount of "trying again later" works , but through trial and error (disabling modified settings in another profile) i found the culprit of this error message: in about:config setting called network.http.referer.spoofSource was set to true, setting it to false makes the issue i described above disappear.

While my issue is solved, I still don't understand why on every Firefox profile i create this setting is set to true, and whether changing it is a security concern

I updated Firefox to version 138 yesterday(29rd April). I use latest stable version of Linux Ubuntu. Sites itself will work, but top of browser wont. Can click open new tab from +-button, but can't close it.

Browser stops reacting to mouse clicks when browsing (after hours of browsing) and I have to use right-click to navigate on sites.... until I restart browser. I tried to close tab and refresh tab when these problems occurred. Also, this occurs on all sites.

I think this is clearly browser problem(because clicked areas are on browser, not inside tabs), not problem in sites itself, because problem manifested itself after hours of browsing, not immediately.

Edit: I'm not well-versed enough to write Bugzilla-report. Also in 138.0.1-1 version, where I updated 3rd May 2025.

Edit 2: I've added picture of area that stops working. Edit 3: On another picture, can't close "Archaeology" tab, no matter what. Edit 4: Clarified things up.

Hello, everytime I try and upload a video on YouTube with firefox, the video gets stuck at 0% processing,

This never happened in my 4 years of youtube and recently (a few weeks ago) this starting happening. I use firefox to stricly upload videos, and use chrome to browse with my other account casually.

Now Im forced to upload using chrome but I want to still use Firefox to upload videos. anybody know why this is happening? I've cleared cache serveral times and it still won't work. I have no adblockers etc.

90% of time I cannot connect to a website unless I go into settings, privacy security and clear the data. Sometimes this doesn't work and I have to go to a different browser. I don't have this issue with other browsers. Why is this happening?

I'm not sure I have the right topic as I didn't see what I will try to say. The problem is when I send an email (googlemail), I cannot insert a photo/picture in the email. The only thing I can do is attach which I do but want it inserted too. This only started happening about 2 weeks ago. It is now to the point where I have to use another browser to get it to work as it should. Any ideas why?

I’ve recently started using Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) through the browser on my PC, and I’m currently using Firefox as my main browser. However, I’ve been encountering some issues while playing:

Noticeable input lag during gameplay

Occasional frame drops and stuttering

Delayed response times compared to when using other browsers like Edge or Chrome

I really prefer using Firefox for privacy and customization, so I’d like to stick with it if possible. The performance issues seem to be more pronounced in fast-paced games, making them difficult to enjoy.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Ensured Firefox is up to date

Disabled unnecessary add-ons and extensions

Cleared cache and cookies

Tested with hardware acceleration on and off

Internet connection is stable (wired, 200 Mbps)

Despite these steps, the performance still doesn’t match what I get in other browsers.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues with Xbox Cloud Gaming on Firefox? Are there any recommended browser settings, configurations, or tweaks that can optimize Firefox for cloud gaming performance?

Any advice, tips, or solutions would be greatly appreciated. I’d really like to continue using Firefox without compromising my gaming experience.
