I use Firefox on a Mac to access Brightspace for my classes. I also use Grammarly. When copying text from the Grammarly widgets and pasting it into the Brightspace HTML editor, the text is stripped of hard returns, causing paragraphs to collapse without any breaks between them.

I have tried pasting as unformatted text, and the issue persists. This issue does not occur in Chrome, so I suspect it is due to how Firefox handles clipboard data. I have not found a workaround or resolution for this.

Topic is Extensions. How do we get an extension to be recommended by Mozilla? Maybe we can upvote to do this.

This is the most annoying behavior. For the most time I would like to use panel once or twice a day to ask some question to continue on conversation in some chat but whenever I close the AI chat-bot panel it resets its context and throws me onto the default page of the provider of my choosing. I have to click my way into the proper chat every time. Could a chat-bot panel keep its context or keep it session at the place where I left it?

Hello Again that white stripe at the top of the screen is back this PM: I refreshed firefox yesterday and it solved until now: have carried out the dirty dozen: updated FF yes, clear cache yes etc.

Can anyone help me in layman terms: I checked safari and it was OK there. would prefer FF : I use (have done so since its inception) DuckDuckGo as my home page .

I was able to use Firefox for Animoto then for some unknown reason my project disappeared. I can access on Safari. When I try to open Animoto.com in Firefox a page comes up with My Projects page plus Animoto's Create a video and that is all that shows, the page is inactive. Same when I try to log in to my account. My computer is MacBook Pro Tahoe 26.3. I would be very grateful for a solution.

I'm having a strange issue with a website I use for crypto trading. On Firefox the page layout looks broken and some sections overlap or don't load correctly.

The site is paribu.com https://www.paribu.com . When I open the same page in Chrome everything looks normal and the layout loads properly.

I tried refreshing and disabling a few extensions but the issue still happens in Firefox. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what might cause this?

Hey friends, n00b questions - how do I allow pop ups on a website again?

I accidentally clicked too fast and clicked to not allow pop ups again on a site I need a window to pop up.

I went to settings to make an exception for the website, but it still does not work.

Any help please?

Currently the Helper tool blocks my use of firefox on nonAdmin desktops, and in doing so, looks like a spoofing scam popup seeking my password. After updating Firefox to 148.0 on my M4 MacMini Sequoia 15.7.4, using an Admin account/desktop, on Firefox launch on a non admin desktop, the helper tool popup requests admin credentials !?!? As a 74yrOldNontechie Mac user since 1984, I thought that in the Mac world, when an Admin installs software on one desktop, that application then crosses all desktops used on that machine, ie if the software is really installed, even nonAdmin desktops should already have the Helper Tool. My internet facing desktops are never admins, hoping to deny Admin powers to any Internet attacks on my internet facing desktops, and my rarely used admin desktop goes on the net only for software download access/updates. How do I get Firefox to work on my NonAdmin desktops? Why does the firefox install NOT include the helper tool on nonAdmin desktops?

I use a password manager and do not want firefox to save any passwords, but every time I enter a password in Firefox a popup asks if I want firefox to save the password. I know what should work to disable this option, however the option to check or uncheck "ask to save passwords" in settings/passwords is greyed out and cannot be checked or unchecked. (see attached screenshot) Is this because I have my password manager enabled? How do I correct this?

I'm elderly,so bear with me. Firefox very often slips off the screen or simply vanishes.Often it disappears to a thin,gray line at the bottom. Can't open a document and have Firefox available,too. I'm 84....are my fingers worn out? Dave P.

Hello, I've been getting this press and hold authentication the last several months I press and hold then release when the check mark shows, and it still won't let me into the webpages. Happens sporadically, real estate, walmart, and some others. Attached is a sample.

Can you tell me how I can stop it?

Suddenly today when I tried to use facebook, already logged in, I got the message "Account Temporarily Unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes." Yet facebook works fine on Safari and Chrome.

I cleared my settings, except cookies, turned off extensions and restarted firefox which did not help.

What else can I do?-Martha
