Just did another browser update and running 152.0.2 (aarch64)

when will the free vpn become available to me? I've been reading and watching for the invite box on the toolbar and don't see it.

Firefox did send an email stating Firefox browser users can have a free VPN installed but i cannot find the icon. please send me the link to download it. thank you

Hello, I am using mozilla built in VPN but I have an issue as for some sites my internet download manager can't download videos while it can when I use my other VPN app.

For the past few days, I've been seeing the following banner below the address bar on ardmediathek.de :

This website may not work with a VPN. Try signing in or turning VPN off while you use this website.

At first, I assumed this was some kind of anti-VPN or geo-blocking script from the media library itself. However, according to transvision.flod.org it appears to be related to Firefox's ipp-activator-breakage-sign-in-warning feature.

I don't have a VPN, proxy, or DoH enabled, and the VPN button isn't being displayed to me (yet) either. So why is IP Protection interfering here in the first place?

What I think of the ever-growing number of supposedly intelligent services that keep tinkering away in the background and seem to believe they need to take over users' tasks is probably better left unsaid. ;-)

I just noticed the VPN option. Previously I used another VPN, not for privacy, but to give me a UK IP address so that I could access BBC videos which are normally available only if you are in the UK, and thereby get a UK IP address. I took only the free 1 day trial, not wanting for pay for it, and it worked. However with Mozilla VPN, I still get the message 'This content is not available in your location.'.

Firefox did an update today and the firefox VPN option disappeared, there is no option in settings or the menu for the VPN any longer.

I'm using Firefox 152 (64 bit). When I try to enable the built in VPN, I get a message saying to check my internet connection, even though I am already connected to the internet. The VPN will not turn on.

I awoke to find that Mozilla VPN had crashed and left my computer undisguised for an unknown period of time. Running in Ubuntu Studio. I have used other brand VPN that would lock the network connection completely if VPN failed. Why does Mozilla VPN not have lockout, or if it does why did it not engage? Thanks for your time.
