Everytime I open firefox, a small window opens that tells me "Update available Download the latest version of firefox, Download or Dismiss". Hitting download saves the update for ver 151.0.4 to my harddrive. I have several of these files because of all the times I've updated forgetting that its already been updated to 151.0.4!
Why do you keep asking me to upgrade when I already did?
To get here I went to "mozilla support" and I clicked the box requesting you send me an email when someone replies to this. This "someone" implies that this person is part of your "community" not a mozilla employee, which is what "mozilla support" implies. After taking my time to follow your vague directives, I dont expect to get any help from you but I am hopeful.
I tried adding images which took me away from this page and when I tried coming back to this page, everything I typed was gone so I had to start over. So I'm not going to click on "share data" for the fear the same thing will happen. Thanks for that

I frequently get a notification that an update failed to install and to install it manually. When checking the update section in the settings I see "Restart Firefox to install update". After restarting, the same section shows "Applying update..." but never finishes. This has been happening for a while and it's becoming very frustrating. Any help is appreciated.
One more thing that may be related: sometimes when launching Firefox, the window will pop up for a split second then close and I have to launch it again. This usually happens on a cold start.

I usually just hit that NO button...When I do click on the YES button & try to update...IT WIPES OUT EVERYTHING I HAVE STORED ON FIREFOX. EVERY SINGLE PASSWORD...SHOPPING LISTS...I'm done! Every time I log on to Firefox, or attempt to use the brozser, I am asked to update Firefox. So I proceed to do the update download; The software refuses to do anything. So I continue with the old release. Apparently, this is a common problem. Yet Firefox staff continues to ignore the situation.

Origine du fichier: Disque dur de cet ordinateur." Pourtant dans les paramètres on indique que tout est à jour et aucune action n'est requise. Comment le flusher sans qu'il réapparaisse à tout moment et comment puis-je m'assurer que ce n'est pas de l'intrusion ?

My firefox browser crashes and is almost unusable. I'm on windows 10 and the only thing that has been updated in months is Firefox. I do not believe in upgrading computers and have surgery schedule in a couple of weeks so buying a new computer isn't feasible right now. I've used firefox since I bought my first computer and I want it back.

When I see a message to update, I always do it immediately. A few weeks ago during an update the browser disappeared and wouldn't launch. I had no option but to uninstall with Revo Uninstaller Pro.
When I installed again, I signed in and immediately selected sync and all my bookmarks were recovered but also Chrome bookmarks which I want to keep separately. No complaint, I just deleted all those Chrome bookmarks.
Had to install all my Browser extensions. I have whitelisted a few websites to save cookies from those special websites like online Banking and got an auto popup message "You are using an untrusted browser"
I had to use my phone to get a code from the Bank to continue. I use Biometrics to log into my Bank accounts and also many other websites I have installed on my phone.
Then I got another message and email from the Banks verifying I have a Trusted Browser.
Firefox is my default browser on my phone and my Laptop and always will be. Thanks for allowing me to write this message. I want to confirm this is not a complaint.
