I am on firefox 25 and oxs 10.9, and all of a sudden for no reason, the 2 finger scrolling stopped working. its not the mac because scrolling works on everything else except for firefox. I don't really know what happened. I've already tried reseting firefox and the scrolling will work for a bit and then suddenly not work anymore. if i restart it, the scroll will work for a bout 5 minutes before disappearing.

On lots of websites text appear as an 'A' in a box (see screenshot - i've blurred some content due to privacy). I've gone through my preferences and checked 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above'. When I uncheck this box using my font selections things display fine however when I check it I get this problem. I'm a web developer so I can't override site fonts, I need them to display as intended. I've checked Chrome and Safari on my machine and they are fine so this problem is isolated to FireFox. I've tried restarting FF in safe mode but it made no difference, I went to the config page and changed network and gfx references back to 'reset' and again it doesn't make a difference.
System details: FF = 56.0 (64 bit) OSX = 10.9.5

Under "Live Bookmarks" Help topics, I am trying to use "Tips & Tricks" to add an RSS feed icon to my Toolbar that works. I am using FF 43. 0.2.
I can get the icon to appear, but it does not "light up" to signal me that a Feed is available. I even went to the USA Today site that has feeds listed as available, including RSS.

I downloaded Java and JDK for Mac but the same message still appears when I download or download & convert a video from Youtube.

Whenever I try to upload a file larger than about 2Mb, the upload freezes and times out. I've tried refreshing Firefox, removing addons, running in safe mode, clearing the cache and deleting and reinstalling Firefox but the issue still arises. The only thing I think it could be is that there is an Adobe Acrobat - Create PDF 1.1 addon that is disabled but I don't know how to remove the addon. But this may not be the issue. I've only noticed this problem in the last couple of months. Thanks, Ben

For the past 5 months firefox is crashing multiple times a day it can be 3 crashes a day easy. I have tried disabling all my addons,reinstalling addons, reinstalling firefox, deleting my profile none has had an effect.
It can crash watching youtube,browsing the internet or on a website there does not seem to be any consistent factor (ie it only crashes on youtbe).

Videos from YouTube I've embedded in a couple of web sites will not go fullscreen. I can go full screen on the same videos when on the YouTube site with no problem. On my embedded video the fullscreen control is there in the bottom right corner but I get the message "Full screen unavailable. Learn more." The source of the video is not blocking fullscreen ("allowfullscreen></iframe>" is included in the code), I've checked all my permissions, specifically for the web sites in question even, as well as my Add-Ons (I changed them all to 'Always Ask' in case some new one or update was bugging things up). What am I missing?

This has been going on for longer than I should have let it. For the record, I have tried going into Safe Mode but it didn't fix the issue. The crashes that I receive are random. I can be watching a video or I can just be reading something on a forum, regardless the browser crashes. I had a Java Applet plugin that was out of date so I also tried disabling that but I still had the crashes. Any help would be greatly appreciated, here are a couple of my crash reports.

This has to be the most bizarre thing I have ever seen.
There are 2 users on my iMac - myself and my wife.
If I use my account to access a certain internet page on Firefox, then select some text and go to File>Print, I have the option to "Print Selection Only". If I don't select any text, that option is greyed-out. This is how I expect it to work.
However, if my wife uses her account to access the very same internet page on Firefox, then selects the very same text I selected and goes to File>Print, the option to "Print Selection Only" is greyed-out.
I have no trouble selecting text and printing the selection from my account, but my wife cannot do the same from her account on the same computer with the same web pages and the same printer and the same selected text.
What on earth is going on here?

I like firefox and use it exclusively as Safari had issues with some websites. However, I exclusively use apple hardware, desktop and mobile. After much searching, I found a software app for syncing my firefox bookmarks with my iPhone that actually worked, but now Firefox is changing to a new sync protocol. I had to sign up for a new account and my and my old iPhone app is not going to work. Is there a reliable way to keep the bookmarks on my iPhone in sync with my desktop? If not, I may go back to Safari.
Why can't I get my Printer back on-line? I have an I-Mac.

Hello. I have a problem I believe only a professional member of the Firefox community is able to resolve.
About a year ago I made the huge mistake in accidentally deleting my Firefox browser and thus all the files associated with it. It was a major loss for me because hundreds of bookmarks of sentimental value were wiped away. I immediately tried to salvage the deleted files using a 'drilling' software, and have been left with the Firefox profile with thousands of media inside of it. I now have folders separating each file type of the retrieved data (jar, zip, cfb, db3, h, itl, m, odt, prproj, textClipping, xib, xlsx, xml, xmp, ico, jpg, png, ps, psd, tiff, webp). I've been casually searching through it since the accident searching for anything resembling bookmark files, but with no luck. I hold out hope that somewhere in the 5GB mass I can find a ghost file of my bookmarks embedded somewhere.
Is it possible I will find the bookmarks somewhere? Does Firefox archive the bookmarks data in multiple spots in the profile folder? Is it possible I will find the bookmarks if I search hard enough?

Ever since the update, most text on web pages I visit have capital A in boxes instead of the actual text. Images attached.
I tried Happy112's suggestion (on another thread) about changing the security something to 1 instead of 3 and it actually made it worse!
I've had to use a different browser since the upgrade, which is a bummer. Would like to use Firefox again.
I'm running on Mac 10.9.5
I hope some Firefox Guru has the answer.
