I have no access to all my bookmarks and the damn backup folder is empty, what kind of trash is this, I need this for my work and not even the search history is avalable, no more damn firefox, let me know if there is any way to get back that bookmarks and browser data since I have no way of retrieving any of the cinfidental accesses I need to perform my job

My account is not syncing to any Firefox browser, extensions, passwords, bookmarks non of this attributes will be loaded to my browser back after re-installation, What might the issue be?

I'm using firefox sync with an own sync server.

Since a few weeks the synchronization of tabs doesn't work right. I use five devices. On my Macbook, the iPhone and the iPad mini I can see and reach the tab-sync of these three devices.

On another iPad and an Linux-PC, wich I added at last, I can see the tab-sync of all five devices.

How can I force the first three devices to sync the tabs of all five devices? I did alread several steps of testing and trying, like manual synchronization or remove and adding again all devices to the account.

It would be great to find some help! Thanks in advance and best regards - Daniel

This is not a bug, just more of a feature request. Every time when I sync an account to a new device, I got a popup to sync another device and afterwards I get a mail on how to complete my sync setup and sync another device. I'd have no problem with it, if this is my first device that I am trying to sync. But I have several devices with the sync enabled, I am syncing from these devices and Mozilla knows this as it has history of devices where I was signed in and it can see that there are data to be synced so apparently this is not the first device you are trying to sync. Can we have an option to dismiss these messages and popups forever?

Hi : when I turn on sync,after signing in,the browser pups up a tip says "This computer has been disconnected".But in my iphone,I signed in and truned on sync.

I use firefox on all my devices: home pc, work pc and smartphone. And when first time i found "Send tab" function it was aweosome. It worked with a little delay, but always worked. I'm not sure since which update it stopped working between pc browsers. When i sending tab to smartphone, it still works, but when i'm sending from desktoop browser to another desktop browser, it says "Sent" but other browser never recieves it. At some point i've found article where it was mentioned that it might not work because of proxies set in both of my desktop browsers (i can't find it now to post the link). If proxies is to blame, is there a way to fix this? Maybe exclude specific address in proxy settings? If not, what migth be the reason?

Any advice is appreciated.

I have two laptops and a mobile phone that are connected to Firefox and have sync operating. One the laptops shows a location of Wrexham which is approximately correct. The other shows a location of Boardman, OR, United States, a place some 6000 miles away and of which I have never heard. Googling the location gives me no useful information, other than it is a small town with no special characteristics. A screenshot of part of the Firefox Accounts page illustrates what the situation is.

The laptop stated as in Boardman has a location set within Windows. That is not Wrexhan but is only a few miles from there.

I have used iplocation.net which gives me the location of my ISP, in England.

I sometimes use a VPN (for work) and when being used iplocation.net gives a different English location which I think is the locaton of the ISP for my Employer.

I am unsure what is going on here nor do I know what implications there are for my security. I do not seem to be able to fix this.

Can anyone help, please?

This is for login to Mozilla and Firefox Sync.

Roboform password keeper cannot fill in user or pw on Mozilla login page

Please see below, this discussion with Roboform tech that RF cannot fill in username or pw on Mozilla login page. Is it really Mozilla’s intention to make it impossible for a password keeper program to store and login to Mozilla on the Firefox browser, but to force people to use some other browser to do such a login that customers may have to do several times a day?

Firefox prohibits access to this URL to extensions, so RoboForm cannot save a Login for this address when you visit it in Firefox.

If you try to use this URL in any other browser, you will be able to save a Login and then use it to log in your Firefox account.

Mozilla Support, I look forward to your reply. As it is now, I can only login to Mozilla using my long, strong pw, by copying it from secure storage location and pasting in...very slow and tedious. Thanks for your consideration.

My mail to an American e-mailaddress is blocked and i have got the advice to put in the address in the addressfield by hand and/or check my syncronisation and i have no clue of what that is. Please explain in A VERY EASY WAY TO UNDERSTAND AS I*M A NOVICE AT COMPUTING.

Hello I want to send my open tabs from my old PC to my new PC. But when i do it whith Sync, only a part of them are open on the new divice. I have a lot of tabs, over 400, and only a hundred open. If I select the following tabs for the transfer, nothing is happening. Need help please.

My pc got hacked through the my Firefox api keys, took all my crypto my emails, what can I do if I’m locked out of everything. There is no way to lock your account from outside. When they have access to everything you can’t do anything. Now this scammer, he literally runs a scam site has all my info. Google doesn’t have a number to call. Yahoo lady was an idiot, I said I’ve been hacked I want my account locked down they can’t do that. He changed the carts on my pc and deleted the recovery drive. Had access to my phone and did the same to that. Stole most or all of my crypto and there’s no recourse to these people the government is spending trillions of dollars, they can’t setup a number to call. This guy has stole millions from his scam site. Ruined my life and no one does anything. I’m literally on leave from work because I’m a manic depression with suicidal tendencies. I just want a person to talk to who can help. Google, one of the biggest companies in the world has no call center. How ridiculous is that. All my money I had. All my private information stolen. My I’d, my ssn, all my passwords. They need a simple button that says if you’ve been hacked click here. Even if you haven’t and someone is just doing it, it’s better than all the negatives that these people can cause. These losers hide behind the internet ruining lives and these huge companies make it so hard to do anything because they don’t care. They don’t care, we’re just the little people. Its insane that google doesn’t have a number to call for hacks. All companies should because it’s so common and these people are making more money I’ll make in my entire life by sitting behind there desk ruining people’s lives. I’m so beyond every feelings in the world. If this guy was in front of me I would destroy him physically. Firefox lock my damn account .
