Periodically when Firefox is updated, it starts rejecting Yahoo Mail from loading, giving the "Your connection is not secure" / SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER error. Unfortunately, it does not give you the option to add an exception, which clears up the problem most of the time.

Today this happened again with no ability to add an exception, and after looking at various websites for hours, trying to find a fix, I stumbled on one: Having Firefox "...automatically search for and import CAs that have been added to the Windows certificate store by a user or administrator." These are root certificates which you've manually imported. If you understood that last sentence, then it means you've probably done it on your computer; I know I have. The steps to fix it are these, and I cite the original web page further below:

- Open a new window in Firefox and type "about:config" without the quotes and hit enter - Confirm that you want to continue - In the search field, type in security.enterprise_roots.enabled and hit enter - you'll be left with one field - If it's marked as "false" then double-clicking it should turn it to "true" - Close the window, then go back to your Yahoo email login and try again. For me, this worked *perfectly*!

Here's the site where I found the info, under the "Experimental Built-in Windows Support" section: https://wiki.mozilla.org/CA:AddRootToFirefox

Good luck - I hope this helps to fix your Yahoo email login problem, too!

I can not log in to one site. This began just a few days ago. I CAN log in using Chrome and Edge with no problem. I have refreshed Firefox, removed all add-ons, even uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. This is the error message I receive today:

login.diamondresorts.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

Yesterday I saw a longer text message with lots of coding 'jiberish'.

What can I do?

Where and what versions of Firefox may I find downloads without this conflict? Nice try at guessing the browser on this machine but it must be apparent that this is not the Firefox version or operating system on this machine that has the issue of security certificate validation as if it did Firefox would have prevented connection to support.mozilla.org because according to some Firefox versions support.mozilla.org does not have a valid security certificate. The system where the security issue became problematic was Windows 7 running a Firefox 62.0.2 (64 bit) version downloaded September 22, 2018 with Windows Internet Explorer. So 62.0.2 has a problem with Google and Mozilla when attempting a Download Helper plug-in download thru Firefox 62.0.2. The version on this machine is Version 59.0.2 (64 bit) for Lunix Mint. Just looking for a work around. Sorry no data it's on another machine with a Firefox browser version that prevents connection to support.mozilla.org.

We are migrating from firefox Version 61 to Version 62. after sucessfull installation i am seeing an error your connection is not secure. If i import the certification manually and if the launch the firefox it works as expected and i am able to launch all the websites.

I have tried to copy the files(cert9.db and key4.db) from my profile to others. It is not working for others.

But if i manually import it works for them.

Is there any way i can silently automate them to import?

Thanks
