The bookmarks are "there" but not in their group. Takes hours to re-sort.
It takes a LONG time to rebuild from HTML backup. The jsn backup is ok, but it wipes everything I have done today out. I backup almost every day.
I have thousands of bookmarks = hours of work. Then I have to spend many hours rebuilding. 1/ What is happening? 2/ How to stop it?

I put "bookmarks" for the subject but that's just because none of the other options adequately describes my situation! I just got a new MacBook Air. I hate Safari, so I always use Firefox instead as my main browser on Mac. Have been doing it for years. This time, I set up Firefox the way I wanted it, with a specific home page, logged into all my sites, emails, Facebook, youtube, etc etc, and set them all on my Toolmarks bar. ... Then a couple of days later, had to re-sign in to my computer due to downloading software, and lost everything I had done on Firefox! Had to re-sign into all my accounts again as well. Set everything up on Firefox again ... couple of days later, had to re-sign into my computer to due to downloading software ... lost everything I had set up on Firefox, had to re-sign into all my accounts. I would be so appreciative if anybody could tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it! I really love Firefox and don't want to give it up! Talked to Apple about it and they say it's not their issue. ... Thanks so much!!

Is there a way to stop Firefox from suggesting/autocompleting the root URL of pages I've bookmarked? For example, say I've bookmarked https://www.mysite.com/pageone and named it "My Site - Page 1". If I start typing "my" in the URL bar, the very first suggestion is https://www.mysite.com, instead of my bookmark.
NOTE: I have disabled ALL other suggestions other than bookmarks, including common/popular sites (i.e. typing "goo" will not autocomplete with google, because I have not bookmarked any google sites)
I didn't bookmark the root URL, so I don't want it to be suggested. Any way to disable this behavior?
Thanks!
