Shortcut icons (4 rows of them) have disappeared from my Firefox home tab. After a Firefox update, they were gone. Just white boxes. I tried to re-enter shortcut information, but the box always goes back to white and empty. I tried a System Restore. That didn't work either. I depend on these shortcuts for my work and bill paying. Please, someone help me! Thanks!

I tried some fixes like clearing cache, history, proxy and other things you can try. But it still doesnt work
account is fine i can login on other browsers but i think firefox is the best one out there so used to it.
anyone know a fix that might help?

Been having a problem with downloading for about 2 weeks now.
I am doing a course in Ethical Hacking, and have been told to download an .ova file from the internet. The download is 8.5 GB.
However, it has failed on, now, 8 occasions. The nearest it has come, is it has downloaded 5.1 GB.
Could anybody recommend another tool to download files better and quicker? This course is now almost halfway through and I still have not managed to download the software. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Could it possibly be the case that my anti-virus, Microsoft Defender, is not letting the download through? If so, how could I switch the anti-virus off, please?

LibreWolf provides a better service maybe you could understand the frustration that Firefox had on me. There's no section for videos.

I've read and tried the fixes to open the newly updated (deleted and installed 3 times) Mozilla Firefox and nothing is working. I've pressed down alt to open in safe mode and I am unable to get it to open. I've looked for the Facebook plugin to disable it (saw a comment on that) and the plugin folder is empty. Is there a help desk with an actual person that can figure this out?? It is quite alarming to see so many other people with this problem and no real help from Mozilla employees themselves. HELP!!

PROBLEMS: 1) bulk emails sent to my customers are rejected by mostly gmail accounts. 2) Emails sent to me of airline group bookings arrive as pages of code that I cannot read. My IP adr. is 80.208.65.123 and it is NOT suffering from poor reputation -- and no problem when I sign in from e.g. Chrome!

I recently updated to FF 119.0.1. I am finding that URL completion in the address bar is kind of random. In FF 118 and earlier, URLs were completed predictably, and it was pretty clear that they were based on a) bookmarks and b) frequency of use. Now, it seems like the frequency info is lost every time I restart FF. In that case, I might expect that the URL offered would be from the oldest bookmark or maybe the first in alphabetical order or something predictable, but it isn't. It seems to me to be random, and it is very annoying.
Is this a new bug, or is there perhaps a new setting that I can change to stop the madness?
For relevant settings, I have:
- Provide search suggestion: checked - When using address bar, suggest: browsing history and bookmarks are checked, nothing else - I'm using Custom History settings: Remember browsing and download history is checked, Clear history when Firefox closes is checked.
I have used these settings for years in previous versions of FF, and there hasn't been a problem until now.
