I have recently migrated to Firefox from Chrome.

I cannot paste images (screenshots) directly into my Outlook emails.

I can insert a picture file but this is way less convenient than taking a screenshot via the Snipping Tool and pasting directly into my emails.

I cannot find any setting or configuration that would enable this functionality.

This functionality sure worked in that other browser.

Right-clicking on a page, image, link or whatnot, to copy/paste text/image/link is outright impossible. Only Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V somewhat save the day, but that's not enough.

Image attached shows the menu that pops-up after right-clicking. It's so long it doesn't fit on the page and has its own scroll-wheel within itself.

No options or help were found in the settings or on forums.

After I upgraded my system (NixOS) from 23.05 to 24.11, both Firefox and Thunderbird experience a 30 second delay between doing right click and the context menu appearing.

After clicking on a menu option, there is another 30 second delay before the menu disappears and the action is carried out.

Happens also in safe mode, and after deleting the .mozilla directory and starting from scratch.

No other GUI on the system (including non-gecko browsers) are affected.

Firefox version is 133.0.3

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 8 with a Slim Pen 2. I do a lot of searching in google maps and have noticed that I can access google maps and can use pinch to decrease and expand the maps and if I open a street view I can use touch to move the field view around as it should be. The problem occurs is when I use my slim pen. Once I have used the slim pen to move a field or open a street view the touch capability stops working. I can still close the window and other things with the touch capability (system type functions), but within the browser it's disabled.

I have not noticed this occurring in any other web site or type. For example I can go to amazon and interchangeably use the pen and touch capability without issue.

I have tested this in Google Chrome and MS Edge and it does not disable the touch capability when I use the pen.

I DON'T KNOW IF I CHOSE CORRECT TOPIC, BUT I CHOSE THE DARK READER MODE THINKING IT MIGHT BE USEFUL FOR MY EYES. BUT I DON'T REALLY CARE FOR THE DARKNESS OF IT, AND I CERTAINLY DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. BUT I'M NOT SEEING WHERE I CAN DISABLE THAT AND GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE. PLEASE ADVISE.

I am 82 years old and have Essential Tremor. I am on medications but my hands still shake enough to give me problems with your audio volume sliders.

Is there a way to make the audio volume sliders wider?

If not, there should be.

Why is my news feed nothing but left wing garbage, from Politico, NPR, CBS. ABC, NBC, MSNBC, to Time to Huff Post, there is nothing Center or Center Right, it is all Lame Stream Left Wing Garbage.

What's up with that? We need some ideological diversity, in other words not Group Think.

I want some Fox News, Breitbart, Daily Wire, Town Hall Media, etc., and to be balanced you can throw in your current biased feed too. At least then, I can read the issues from several points of view, which after all, that is what it is all about.

Otherwise just leave my news feed splash page empty, I am quite adept at using several news sources for m information on the news of the day.

I have typed my question in the subject line above.

I am getting VERY annoying pop-up icons saying Viruses Found Antivirus notification. Also, pop-up icons saying Attention! Click here to secure your data! The websites shown don't look like Firefox sites so I am reluctant to click on them. I have tried closing or dismissing the popups numerous time but they continue to reappear HELP!!

So im playing this browsergame but everytime i press ctrl+w it closes the tab because thats the bind for closing tabs. This is very annoying so i would be glad if yall could help me out here

I just got reed of annoying e-mails going to my I Cloud and again today I have 170 junk mails!!!! Is there a way that unsolicited E- mail do not invade my computer as I only want to see the e-mails from people and companies that I know of!!!! I thank you for any tips that you have to offer. Neoma

I have had this account several years and never had a problem, today just now I have two different email accounts. I use my account [edited] @gmail.com for verifying but I use my desktop computer and that email is [edited] @outlook.com. I noticed that that email was entered incorrectly. I was afraid that email may have been hacked. I did not see and option for me to make the correction.

I always use the middle mouse button (pressing the scroll wheel) to open and close new tabs, but since the update, it doesn't work anymore and now types "=" if the cursor is in a text field. For context, I use an MX Master S3, mapped with Logi Options+.

Anyone else having this issue? How do I roll back to the previous version??

SOLVED: It was a bug with Logi Options+, not Firefox. When I hovered over the tab for the presets I had for CaptureOne, I noticed it also said Firefox. So seems something weird happened there. Deleted that preset and the issue in Firefox went away.

I couldn't find a way to delete this thread, though.
