After the last update Firefox ESR 115.23.0 the menu on the website: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/home is not displayed correctly. Can you fix this?

In Windows 10 and 11, Firefox's tab bar and other elements that may be transparent render in Windows 10 using some sort of uDWM method (speculation, I could be wrong?) rather than the traditional win32 window frame as you can see with the title bar toggled on. This leads to elements like the tab bar being black or white, depending on your theme unless you have specified otherwise in your chrome. Highlighted yellow below is my problem area.

In my CSS code, I am trying to extend the system color to be drawn to the tab bar (and in this instance, the address bar as well,) but I can't find any way to be able to do this. I have found forums that say to add -moz:appearance -moz-windows-glass, but this completely removes the window border and leaves the Firefox window unresponsive to controls. The only way to close it is if you close it through the taskbar or task manager.

Note that I am aware of .titlebar-color{color: AccentColorText; background-color: AccentColor}, but that's not what I am going for here. That still draws using Windows 10 modern UI. Windows 7 on ESR 115 or unofficially on 116 still draw with Windows Aero in all parts of this CSS code that are black (highligted yellow below.)

Hi. Can anyone tell me how or what firefox told me by show an notification window on the left side of screen in firefox. I dropped my laptop and picked it up and my fingers pressed some buttons. And I had no chance to see what the window was viewing. The Buttons i could have pressed down is on the right side.

Please help me to figure out what firefox was telling me. Or what function I activated or deactivated. Because there was an notification screen on the left side in firefox

Just a few days ago, screenshot technique failed. I often copy an image from webpage. Right click technique. I am still able to do this. I have option of copy or Download. Download works but Copy does not. When I try to paste the copy into my Word document, I get a blank image (a square that indicates there was an image but the actual image is not there). How can I get the paste mechanism working again?

I'm having a problem with websites not remembering my zoom percentage settings. The zoom settings were remembering on my administrator account until recently. The strange thing is that zoom settings on websites ARE remembered in my standard user account on the same device. I am talking about private browsing only & after I close the session & reopen another Firefox session. Thank you

I was happily typing along and noticed both a typo and the fact that the typo was NOT underlined in red squiggles. Hmmmm, I thought.

Fiddling around, I discovered an option on right-click that allowed Me to turn on spellcheck. Now, every time I type in an email or forum, on Twitter, anywhere, I have to right-click to be sure of My spelling.

Thus began My efforts to find how to set the button to be on by default... Finding none led Me to "Help," which a search of the term "spellcheck default" led Me to a zero in returns. Sure, there were discussions with those terms, but I could not prowl them all looking for the method of setting spellcheck to be on by default. The first few pages yielded nothing...

So if You would please, direct Me to that function. [smile]

Hello, today I decided to create a new Firefox Profile. I set the directory of this profile to be my desktop, which is where I usually put things (downloads and such) by default. I thought it would create another folder there on the desktop and put everything inside that, but instead it put a bunch of junk on my desktop. No big deal, right, I can just delete the profile, and that other junk should also be deleted. Well, not only did deleting the Firefox profile delete the extra junk that was created while making the profile, it also, for some reason, has deleted about 90% of everything else on my desktop as well. There are now only a few seemingly random things left on the desktop, that it decided to spare for whatever reason.

Where did everything go? The recycle bin is empty.. Most of it was just shortcuts, not a big deal, but I did have a few folders with some rather important work that I would very much like to retrieve. Please tell me Firefox didn't just nuke my desktop, and that all of those things are now unrecoverable? Windows 7 64 bit

Why is Firefox refusing to display Instagram videos?

Windows 7 Home Firefox 115.12.0esr (64-bit) Some Instagram videos play, most don't. E.g. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8FM6cbOG7v/?mc_cid=e24e48195f

For a fraction of a second, the video shows what appears to be the initial display frame, then goes black. Audio plays. Displays OK on Chrome and Edge.

I've explored the following: Autoplay is allowed Turn off tracking protection Clear cache Clear cookies Digital Rights Management (DRM) is allowed Running in trouble shoot mode, i.e. no extensions Popups not blocked I do not have file user.js I tried hiding prefs.js. Is there a setting that tells Firefox to report why it makes its choices?

I am taking a course on Coursera, and while the video lessons are viewable on my W10 box running Firefox 142.0.1 (64-bit), on my W7 box running Firefox 115.27.0esr (64-bit) the Coursera page, after briefly displaying the lesson's home page, which includes the normal video playback window, reports "This page encountered an error." I have contacted Coursera, to no avail, and now seek advice from you all. I suppose I can not return on my W7 box to the normal Firefox non-esr releases, but was something changed therein of late that would cause this? It all worked well in July, but now won't work at all. Deleting autofill entries does not work per article. The info is still there. Clearing history does not work either. Do I need to restart computer for it to forget/delete entries? Thank you. Fred couvrette

Hi All,

I would like to change the color of the two highlighted URLs in the address bar's drop down list to what they were in FF 88 - the one that is currently selected with the cursor keys, and the one the mouse pointer is over.

The first screenshot below is of the highlight colors in FF 115/125. You can see two different shades of gray, the darker gray being the URL selected with the cursor keys, the lighter gray being the one the mouse pointer is over.

The second image shows the colors from FF 88, the URL selected with cursor keys in blue, and a dark gray for the one the mouse pointer is over.

Any help in modifying these colors, and the radius of the selection is greatly appreciated!

I have used Firefox for years and had AVG free antivirus installed also for years. Tonight I had a popup window open from AVG informing me that AVG no longer support Firefox and have uninstalled their antivirus addon with immediate effect.

Does anyone know of a Free antivirus program that is any good and still supports Firefox?

I get an empty pdf viewer frame. Also the debugger shows the following error;

Uncaught TypeError: Promise.withResolvers is not a function

Is there some way to overcome this problem? a future release of firefox esr?
