For several months now, my main Yahoo mail tab and also individual email tabs within Yahoo close automatically. It sometimes happens when I'm opening an attachment or switching to another Firefox tab but most of the time it happens randomly

I've turned on the setting in Firefox to get notified before closing a tab and also tried pinning the Yahoo tab but the glitch still happens. I'm not using private mode.

I wanted to make a suggestion, and report a complaint, but all I get from Firefox are endless loops of discussions about things I don't care about and are irrelevant to me! Where's the actual "submit feedback here" button? Where's the What's your problem button?

I've spent an hour wandering through endless screens of help articles and discussion threads. Now I"m just tired of not being able to even report a problem or make a suggestion!

If it matters to anyone: I am using Firefox to play 2 online games: Settlers Online, and RailNation. I am using Vivaldi to play another instance of RailNation.

When I switch from one tab to another or the other browser for any length of time I get disconnected from both Settlers Online and from RailNation. And sometimes I have to restart Firefox or clear cache to get them to reload! This did not happen in previous versions. Win11, new Dell Inspiron, if that makes a difference.

What ever happened to multitasking? What ever happened to persistence?

I get a window popping up now and then out of nowhere called 'parent process browser console'.

How can I stop this? I've tried looking at the settings of the window (top right corner), but there is no option to stop it from staying active.

I've written in with this problem before, but got no emailed notification of replies, and don't know how to locate my previous post. The problem has happened again today.

I was running Firefox with four Windows open (fewer than I used to before this problem started happening) and maybe a dozen or more tabs in each window. Suddenly, all four windows disappeared, and when I got Firefox restarted, only three of the windows came back. There was no trace at all of the one I had been using (probably looking at a YouTube video), and the "History" top menu item had the "Recently Closed Windows" tab greyed out. So my window was lost without any trace of ir or of the tabs it contained.   Much like this has happened before, except that on this occasion, the window I was actually using was the one that disappeared. No error messages appear.

I always have Chrome running at the same time, with two windows open. I've not experienced any such problem there.

I'm using a desktop PC with Windows 10. I also have a laptop, similarly configured which has not suffered the same problem. (No Chrome there.) I'm running a paid for version of Avast on both machines.

I am using Firefox 106.0.5 (64 bit). I cannot copy an image from Firefox and paste on to the WhatsApp app. The following steps however work:

• copy the image
• paste to a document editor (MS-Word) or image editor
• copy again
• paste to WhatsApp

Is this an intended change?

I need to know how to stop Firefox from automatically downloading .pdf files that I view. Sometimes I just want to view a pdf without downloading the file. Firefox keeps automatically downloading the file, then after viewing it, I have to manually delete. I don't to do this! I just want to view the file and if I want to keep it, I'll save a copy. This is extremely annoying! Can I change the settings so that the file won't automatically save to my computer? and i want show my file or pdf then i want to download the file

I just posted a question re: my pull-down bookmarks menu disappearing. I stated in the question that my bookmarks themselves weren't gone, just the menu. I stand corrected. They are indeed "gone", i.e. completely inaccessible.

My tab bar is gone..I do not need to open previous tabs, but the tab bar is gone all together, I need to use it. I have tried settings and history and full page vs not full page view. I have bookmarks, info bar, address bar but no matter what I have tried I can not get my tab bar back. I almost always have 3-5 tabs open for work and switch back and forth now they are not showing. Please help...

Today I try to log on to SOCALGAS. This is the Gas company for all of southern cal. using a recently updated version of Firefox browser. The problem started : After logging into site , the next page refused to load. It just recycled over and over again. I open another browser : Bing and the pages needed to pay my mom's bills loaded. After calling the Gas company with my problem I realized the problem was the browser.

How do I fix this problem?

Firefox is great. My single issue is with on Firefox “new tab” page is how can I delete apps, or apps that might be semi repetitive. I hope that makes sense? Bob H

After my computer unexpectedly reboots, if I open Firefox and go to the about:profiles page, I am unable to open my other profiles. Instead there is a message saying "This profile is in use in another application and it cannot be deleted." even though these other application windows are not present.

I am currently using the latest Firefox theme. Although i have had to customize it, the colors I was used to, I am not liking. Can I restore it to look like the original, or get closer to Windows blue?

For the last few weeks, Firefox freezes up occasionally. Sometimes, I have to Force Quit to get out of it as Quit Firefox won't close the program. Using Ventura 13.0 on a M1 MacBook Air. It was happening before Ventura as well. Fairly recent issue.

I am trying to access onedrive.com in firefox and the site won't connect unless I open it in a private window. I cleared cookies and history and shut off all extensions but that didnt fix the problem. I used to access onedriuve without issue in a regular firefox browser window but until recently that has changed. Please advise
