I have a number of music clips I want to put in one or more playlists to use with VLC Media Player. How do I create such a playlist? (If I'm asking in the wrong place, I apologize.)

My Firefox settings are configured to "Open previous windows and tabs" on Startup. This worked fine until this morning, when I lost all of the tabs in my session, including the pinned ones. The last time I closed Firefox, there was only one window open.

I have already tried these ideas to restore the tabs:

• CTRL+SHIFT+T: Does nothing
• CTRL+SHIFT+N: Does nothing
• Three bar menu -> History -> Recently closed tabs: The list is empty
• Three bar menu -> History -> Recently closed windows: The option is greyed out
• Three bar menu -> History -> Restore previous session: The option does not exist in the menu
• Open user profile folder and open sessionstore-backups folder: There are three files named "previous.jsonlz4", "recovery.baklz4" and "recovery.baklz4". They are each 2KB and contain only an empty tab with the URL "about:home". There are three additional files starting with "upgrade" but they are from too long ago, so they don't contain the tabs I require.

The contents of these tabs are vitally important for my work, so this is causing me significant stress. If anyone can suggest ways to recover my previous tab beyond the documented fixes, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much to anyone who can help!

Hello! I updated FLOORP on the 5th May, FLOORP crashed and then Brave, Firefox, Waterfox, LibreWolf and Vivaldi started crashing. I had Brave and Vivaldi open when I launched FLOORP and FLOORP asked consent to update itself and after updating, it did not open in “previous session” and I could not open “previous session” through History. When I launched “Settings” from menu, “previous session” opened! I had pinned “Settings” earlier.

Now the bizarre happens; suddenly LibreWolf launches by itself also without “previous session” and open tabs in Brave and Vivaldi disappear to single New Tab. After some tinkering, I was able to restore “previous session” in LibreWolf, Brave and Vivaldi.

Now I close all browsers and open Firefox, no “previous session” and some random windows in its history, opening these random windows also opened “previous session”! 🙄But then Waterfox launches also without “previous session”, here clicking on OneTab extension recovered “previous session”.

Cutting short; I uninstalled, Waterfox, LibreWolf and FLOORP, this did not help, I ran System Restore twice to two different points and it has not resolved the issue.

OPEN PREVIOUS WINDOWS AND TABS is unchecked but upon startup firefox always tries to do this and I get an error message. Computer crashes, shutoffs, sleep mode and Firefox wants to go to my previous windows and tabs : I HAVE IT UNCHECKED FOR A REASON, I DON'T WANT TO GO TO PREVIOUS TABS.

When I open a new tab, I can't automatically start searching anymore.

Now, I have to click into the search bar to type. That's annoying.

Anyone know how to fix this?

How do I print a document from email, without the sidebar showing? It doesn't show up on the copy but it moves the document way over to the right with only 1/2 of it showing. I'm Electronically Challenged, Electronically Illiterate, please reply in simple English as I'm living proof that you cannot teach an old dog new tricks! Thank you

I can add the short cuts I want but if I go someplace new Firefox will add it to my shortcuts without permission. This seems to be a new problem, and I don't like it! Then if I dismiss or delete from history its still not removed! Very annoying and may cause me to ditch Firefox for good!

Hi, I'm using Firefox 125.0.3 64-bit with Linux mint and some of the tiles on the homepage have disappeared I have selected 4 rows in settings but only 2 and a half rows show, I can remove all rows and select 4 rows again but only 2 and a half rows will show all the edit, pin etc, options are there and work and I can rearrange the tiles but if I dismiss a tile it disappears completely, any help much appreciated. please see added image.

Hello firefox, I have been using Google Sheets recently. When I use the mouse wheel on Google Sheets, the screen will not scroll bit by bit, but suddenly the scroll will go to the bottom and right.

The above New Zealand organization is recommending users to use any other browser than Mozilla Firefox. I have used Firefox for many years on their website and about two months ago it comes up with a recommendation to use another browser because Mozilla Firefox will no longer work on their NZ woke/local wank website. I contacted them to ask what the problem was and instead of answering the question they just repeated the message to change browser. I'm sure these local idiots are just being lazy/stupid so I'd like Mozilla to stick a rocket up their dumb-asses. As these twats are the local government lotteries commission I cannot partake of their monopoly online as they won't allow my browser. Please can Mozilla/community help? A few days ago I started having an issue where Youtube videos 1440p and up would frequently skip ahead, stutter or freeze and play audio only. They also stopped loading as quickly as they had before. This issue only happens in Firefox as when I watch Youtube on Chrome everything is fine. I've tried disabling extensions to no effect. Is this a known issue or does anyone have suggestions?

Hi Lots of my files on Mac have converted to Firefox (which I don't use) and will not open either in Mac, Adobe or Firefox. They are showing in my icloud drive but I cannot open them. And I REALLY need them as they are the source files for a website. I have no idea why this has happened, but would love some advice on how to fix it. I don't ever intend to use Firefox so not quite sure how it happened. Many thanks

I've always had my firefox checkmark the "Always ask you where to save files" box. I started to download a file from Envato elements, and firefox asked me where I wanted to put it, so I pointed it to a dropbox folder on my finder level (I'm on a Mac computer). Some pop up showed up that said it didnt like the directory so I hit ok. Then I tried to download again to another location but now firefox won't ask me where i want to download the file to. And instead it just populates a file in the downloads folder called "7gp69ST8.mp4.part" or something similar. If I uncheck "Always ask you where to save files", the whole file downloads just fine to the downloads folder but I dont want that setting, I want the check mark ON so that it asks me each time where to save the file to. But its not asking me any more. So I hit quit on firefox and came back in and the issue persisted. I cleared the cookies and the issue persisted. Please help me fix this.

Steps for reproduce:

• Turn ON PC
• Launch Audacious player
• Launch Firefox
• Visit to drupal.org

And I have sound glitches like on radio tuning. From all software, that have sounds: players, browser, messengers. Glitches disappear after restart. I find only 2 sites, that make it: drupal.org and my local bank. With Chrome - no problems.

Without Audacious glitches can be to, but not in 100% of cases.

you dont need a screenshot. its reral simple i am tired of nothing working right. i have added multiple wallets on my phantom app but it doesnt show up on my phantom wallet on my laptop. i have been hitting check for updates for 2 hours. why wont it update. and if i have to put in a 24 word secret phrase evertime i want to update my extension. then good bye firefox. then why have a check fofr updates button.

Hello there, since of late when I try to Google search something through Firefox browser I always get this message: ".....Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot...." So I did the test which took me through millions of tests, and finally gave me the search results. I though this was occasional one off thing but to my horror, no! It does always request CAPTCHA test now. I wonder whether Google doing this purposely to discourage Firefox engine search use and encourage to use Chrome instead - which I found no issues with at all! I use VPN of course but how come Chrome does not bar me while VPN is on? Anybody else found this issue? Thank you!

I can open the main

Etrade page but when I then click on anything else all I get is the hour glass which does not go away.  This is ANY other page I try to go to in Etrade.

I go to Edge and have no problems but I have used FF for many years and would like to continue doing so.
