Since a couple of months I've noticed that my firefox has become veeeeer slow, and takes a lot of time to download facebook content, specially images. The page stalls forever and shows some empty areas with a small description like: "must be an image with people", but the content never loads, ant takes forever to navigate face book.

Any other browser works flawlessly and has no problems at all. The only one that cannot handle facebook is Firefox.

There's a way to solve this issue?

for ages, I was slightly annoyed by not being able to choose audio output for video conferencing in my browser favourite, Firefox. I think it is time to move this to more prominence as it is solved for ages and exists as experimental feature: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=934425 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1294381

Toggle"hidden" config parameter media.setsinkid.enabled to true (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Experimental_features#apis) to enable it.

Could you find good places to share this? My impression is that this default is a huge UX disadvantage of firefox vs. chrome at the moment.

I subscribe to the Times.co.uk but past few days am unable to navigate on the website eg if I press 'show more on the web page' nothing happens. `It does work however if I access using my Safari browser, so clearly not a 'Times' issue

I am hitting a rare issue where some requests don't seem to complete (uploading files).

Unsure if the issue is at network level or in the JS code of the website I am using.

What is the best way to troubleshoot those requests that don't seem to complete?

In the Web Developer tools there's nothing under the Timing section.

Every time I need to upload something to a website, when I click "browse" to browse my computer for the file, the window to browse my computer never pops up. I don't know why it randomly stopped working.

I'm unable to check out when I'm signed into my accounts at target & clinique.com.Target say my checkout page is slowing down firefox-click stop -I click stop&I cannot check out.

Hi, I'm trying to clear my cache and site data (in order to update my gmail signature), and each time I clear selected sites - namely gmail which had hundreds of thousands of GB cached - it just comes back. After tyring this 4-5 times, Youtube started having hundred of thousands of GB cached too!! So now, despite managing data an clearing these repeatedly, there's more than when I started. I think I'm stuck in a loop somewhere, please help! thanks in advance

I am not able to load www.washingtonpost.com despite providing exceptions in all privacy and security exceptions. I am currently operating in "Strict" but the same thing happens in "Standard". Most of my attempts are from links, but it won't load if I just load in a https. This does not happen if I use Safari as my default browser or just enter the web site on Safari.

Is there a maximum number of tabs that can be synced? I have about 800 tabs on my old computer, but when I look at the synced tabs in the sidebar on the new computer, only about half of them are listed. The oldest 400 or so are missing.

And yes, I realize 800 tabs is insane. But that's another discussion. :)

I find this does not happen when I opened Mozilla and searched for an answer, but if I am in almost any other site, and click a link, it oens in a new window and is so narrow, it is unusable until I stretch i. This is a pain, and never happened ubtil about 1-2 months ago after an update.

Please let m know if anyone has a solution to this irritating challenge.

Following a Mac rebuild, I decided to use a different e-mail for my Firefox profile, then tried to move all my bookmarks over. I tried both backup and HTML export from my old profile (on a separate machine, copied to the rebuilt machine) but restore from that file failed ("Unable to process the backup file.") and the HTML import seemingly did nothing - the operation completed without error but nothing changed. Any suggestion on how to get the bookmarks moved over?

A subscription service I purchased (Kine Mania TV) has on several occasions gone to a porn site. I have enjoyed many hours of wholesome TV series and movies at Kine Mania TV - but HATE it when smut shows up instead! Please advise - this is scary stuff for an old lady. I use Firefox account to save my id/passwords. I did a mistake by clicking on "delete all ids" (in french: "Supprimer tous les identifiants..." into credentials panel. Is there a copy or something to restore a previous version of all my IDs/password ?

I've been using Firefox 78ESR for Mac for quite some time, but finally decided to upgrade to stable release Firefox 99. What I discovered is that when I'm on a webpage and right-click and click on "select all" to copy all of the text, the text does not get copied. I have found this on websites and especially in blogger. I'm wondering if there's some setting I'm not aware of, or if Mozilla just completely did away with that ability.
