Retrieving cleared cache
I have inadvertently cleared my cache in Firefox (ver. 101.6). Is there a way to get that cache back? Does firefox delete a file that is the cache?

How do I exclude a single site from the history deletion process to prevent the settings/cookies of that given site from being deleted ?

Hello,
I am the developer of the "FlagCookies" - add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/flag-cookies/
I would like to make a request to include "window id" and "tab id" in the cookie "onCookieChanged" -Event triggered dynamically.
At the present state it is not possible to identify where a cookie is originating from, only the "cookies.cookie" values, but no values for "Window" and "Tab Id" which would dramatically help to assign a cookie to a particular domain even if the "cookie.originURL" or "cookie.url" is different from the surfed on website.
As an example, you can visit "https://freenet.de" which loads different ad trackers - which cookies are displayed as "Cross Origin" in Flag Cookies. A screenshot is attached.
In case you need clarification or more information, please let me know.
Is there a way to clear cookies without losing saved passwords/logins and without losing saved bookmarks and bookmark tab at top of page?
User names will not be saved when Firefox closes.

The past couple weeks I've had this issue 2-3 times now where after I start up my computer and launch Firefox, and I find am logged out of every last website I was logged into. However, it is not every time I launch, and seems to only happen the first launch of a Windows session.
I've never had this issue before. The only notable changes that have happened to my computer in the past several weeks are:
1) I now have a second Windows user account on my PC for work (I suspect this to be honest, but not sure why it would be like that)
2) I think Windows 10 did a random feature update against my will a month ago?
3) I installed Escape From Tarkov
I have uBlock Origin, NoScript, Ghostery, and HTTPS Everywhere. Nothing else besides those add-ons.
Aside from that, I went through Firefox log-in/session settings and everything is correct.
I even have cookie exceptions set to "Allow" for all of those sites (both HTTP and HTTPS URLs), so there is zero reason that this should be happening.
Its also worth noting that this is not every time I launch Firefox. It is seemingly random but happens upon my first launch of Firefox that Windows start up. POSSIBLY after I hit "Restart" on Windows instead of "Shutdown", but I haven't been able to test this theory yet.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Dear Firefox,
Thanks for reading this.
I use your superb browser to surf the web. One of the only sites I am having trouble with is Transport for London, www.tfl.gov.uk.
The thing about this site is, that when I go onto it, it simply freezes almost straight away. I use my wired mouse to try to scroll up or scroll down the site, and I cannot. It is just stuck. There are no scroll bars on the right to be able to click on to go up or down.
I am thinking this problem may have something to do with cookies. I say this, because the site is allright before the message comes onto the screen asking you to agree to cookies.
Is this a possiblity, do you think?
Or is there another possibility? For example, I have visited another forum, and told to increase hardware acceleration. Could this be the answer?
Any suggestions would be more than welcome, Yours Marek

I have twice come across a glitch on the Firefox version of tumblr. The notifications will remain entirely static, regardless of how many items are in my dash or how many people have interacted with my posts. I am sure this is a Firefox issue as logging onto Google Chrome removes this issue entirely. I have temporarily removed cookies and passwords for tumblr, but the issue has not improved.
how can I 'enable cookies' so I can use xfinity on firefox
Cookie tracking Cross-site tracking maybe embedded , unable to pay bills online as I used to why?
I want to allow cookies for one site in particular. Can you walk me through it.

I try to setup Firefox so that it is blank in all categories but I still Find Bing under Settings, Private & Security, Manage Data even though I added both http and https://www.bing.com to block status?? I do this so that I can securely and privately connect to my services such as banks, medicare, etc. No Reply Necessary. I always check this when getting ready to connect and remove the cookie. Hi everyone,
I unfortunately have somewhat unstable power where I live which is causing me some issues with Firefox. I plan on purchasing a UPS at some point, but just haven't messed with it right now. When there is a power outage and I have Firefox open, I always get logged out of all websites. Sometimes I get the message about Firefox already running and I delete the parent.lock file to fix that, but I still have to log back into every single website again (whether or not I have to delete parent.lock).
I've went over all settings (such as auto deleting cookies, etc) and nothing looks like it would cause this issue. It's almost like the cookies are "expiring" after a power outage and are no longer any good. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Oh, good grief! How many times do I have to enter this information?! 1. I want to manage blocked cookies via a "blacklist", rather than a whitelist. Also, I want to select cookies to block from a current list, instead of having to memorize them and type them in manually. 2. I have "strict" tracking protection enabled, yet I get permanent cookies installed from websites I do not visit or interact with. For instance, if I open a new site web page, and that page has a Youtube video, even though it doesn't play (because I have autoplay blocked), yet the page adds a permanent Youtube cookie to my computer, that gets updated (and often multiplies), whenever I start my browser. Please provide a means to prevent this!

Not sure if related but it showed up today with the new cookie policy. I cannot log into on of my banks on Firefox. I can from a different browser.
