Firefox slows down when I use web developer tools, I use this whenever I try to save an image on Instagram or other sites that I go to just to save an image or look for the video using the web tools.

Is there a way to fix this issue it lags the browser or it freezes for a second.

 One of my email accounts Yahoo or Gmail appears to have been hacked. I received two phishing emails this week --3 if you count the last one who said she was calling on behalf of Medicare/Social Security and All members could get a preloaded card for several hundred dollars. I knew there was a plan to help certain folks, but it was not available to everybody. I asked her for the name of the plan and she hung up. the webpage she sent me to first or told me to go there where I could talk to a licensed agent. Do people who answer the phone have a license like insurance salespeople? Anyway, they had copied the govt. the site is right up the US sea.

Okay, just an example so I decided to try that KeeopassXC program you were offering but I could never get it to complete.

but it did something as I can't use my password They cancel your account if you tell them the truth --better just to say I need help resetting my password. They then ask you to send them a picture ID as in Driver's License. Noway I am going to do this --so I have at least some pretty valuable info if I can't get in.

Ny first time writing here - if any response please direct suggestions to pke225x2gmail or I guess I will check here. Don't know how you put people with possible solutions to seeker of HELP.

This started a few weeks ago. I thought it might have been because I synced the passwords with other devices. I reverted it back.

When in about:logins, I click on the log in button but nothing happens.

I find it very difficult using Awsome screenshot, in fact I never use it, but used to use it, when it was on my tool bar, can I get it back there.

I cannot drag it from "customise tool bar" as it does not show there, it shows in my list of add ons, I have tried removing it, then reinstalling it.

I have managed to figure out ways to remove items from context menus from various pages here and around the web however it always seems to leave an additional unwanted separator line that I cannot find how to get rid of.

There are a number of additional lines I am looking to remove but the current one that is annoying me (based on most usage) is the additional line between 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' and Search which is an add-on - Simple Context Search - https://tinyurl.com/yck5c (as shown in the attachment).

I did have 'search google for...' directly above the 'Search for Google' option which I removed.

I also removed 'Copy Link' which was above the 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' option which I also removed.

Hope the above makes sense and any help greatfully appreciated.

in the firefox browser is there any way to see the casting the browser screen to chromecast on tv. similar to 'cast to media device' in edge browser or chrome browser.

Even after numerous Uninstalls and a Reinstalls I keep getting this error notice when trying to open Firefox...

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022)

Please see the attached screenshot. I get this popup EVERY TIME I open FireFox. I've tried a number of different suggested "fixes" from Google Searches with no success.

I want this popup GONE.

When you added a bookmark to a site in Firefox there used to be an option that when you hovered over the bookmark a dropdown would appear showing recent changes or additions to the site (see attached). It doesn't seem to be there any more - is there any means of restoring it? Thank you.

Whenever I have Firefox open on Windows 11, my windows key doesn't work. I can assure that its Firefox because whenever I close it, the windows key starts working again. This is really annoying because I normally use the keyboard and having to move my mouse to the bottom just to open the menu gets annoying quick.

Many questions and answers I see regarding the sync function. I would like to know the depth of what Firefox does. I have multiple PC's and an Android. What is the depth of sync for extensions? Is it possible to have mirror images of the entire Firefox setup duplicated? It would be spectacular to move from one PC to the other and find that Firefox has the exact same setup.

I've received my new PC and will be migrating from my old PC (Windows 10) to the new PC with Windows 11.

I use local folders in Thunderbird to keep various projects separate and more easy to manage. I have copied the current Thunderbird profile on to an external hard disk, I have found the location of the local folders and they reflect the structure in the Thunderbird screen I see. Thunderbird has been unstable for a few weeks so I would prefer a clean install but don't want to lose a lot of content that I still need.

1. Is there a way to copy over just the local folders, eg export them, rather than the whole profile? I deliberately haven't cleaned the server recently so that I can get back emails that still are in the in_tray but once they are in local folders they disappear from the Yahoo server. 2. Is there anything else significant I should be aware of before migrating? There is a backup on Mozilla but I prefer a clean install.

When I run firefox on WSL2, buttons dont work on any pop up windows. Foe example when installing a firefox extention - it will download and pop up a small window at the top right to add the extentionto firefox. The buttons dont work. Another example is when opening up the firefox menu bar (hamburger bar) - it will pup up a small window to allow to open up settings, go to add ons, open bookmarks or history. The buttons dont work. Last example is the pop up window for this Ash your question page for firefox support - When clicking "Which topic best described your question - it will pop up a small window to select what type of question Im gonna ask. The buttons dont work.

I dont know how to fix this. I restarted, deleted my firefox profile, started of safe mode, nothing worked. How do I solve this issue?
