Hi, Before Firefox's Version 125.0.1 (64-bit) latest update I could download any file from my safe office environment, behind firewalls, VPN, ... Now despite of unchecking the "Block dangerous downloads" I'm still unable to download files. I have Windows 10 on my laptop.

Here are the steps: Click on a file, Save "File not downloaded. Potential security risk." Click on the message - Allow download The result is a file with content "HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed".

Please help me to work the downloading again. I am aware of the safety but I want to switch off this feature.

We are attempting to disable DNS over HTTPS by pushing a configuration profile from JAMF Pro. The profile completes successfully and shows it is disabled, but Firefox will still show it is enabled. Has anyone else encountered this? We are using our own DNS Resolvers and need to not have Firefox force theirs. BTW, in order to avoid confusion, this is specific to MAC OS machines only. Thank you!

I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?

I am trying to use OBS Virtual camera, I am resetting permissions of camera access, removing cache and data to be sure, and selecting it but it still doesn't let me use OBS Virtual Cam and selects Built in cam automatically does anyone has any solutions ?

when I enter for first time I can select and i select OBS Virtual Cam and I click on Allow and then next window pops up and it doesnt let me select anything else...

I am using Firefox on Mac - I usually minimize instead of closing - It has started making a TAPPING NOISE I thought it was my computer - but It now has happened to 3 different computers and one is brand new - T T T T TTT , I have narrowed it down to Firefox, when I minimize it will do it, then opened and it stopped and min. then start, repeeat - now it does the TTTTT all the time with it open or minimized. What is going on?

I have windows 11 and the firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

I have used Firefox as my browser for many years and lately my emails won't open or if they do it is very slow sometimes and won't allow me to delete emails. Not sure why this is happening and I asked by email provider and they told me to follow some instructions about fining the menu button of Firefox which I couldn't find then he gave me a link and I tried to follow but was unable to make any progress. I have Yahoo.com on my desktop which takes me to my email account. I would like to get it on my task bar but when I try and move it down it is adding it to Firefox on the task bar. I can't seem to get it down there to stay

I would like to change my password for Mozilla Firefox account. I am doing so because I have been notified of a password security breach. However, upon signing into my account via https://accounts.firefox.com/signin (it doesn't matter which device), I cannot change my password with the new one without the red-colored incorrect password window popping up. I know my signin is correct because I have just signed in using it. Whats the problem guys?

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

Hello everyone, I’m a fan of Firefox due to its efficient handling of webpage caching and memory management. However, I often find myself switching back to the Chromium-based Edge browser due to one specific feature in its DevTools. In Edge, when I resize the viewport, it stops at a certain limit. If I want to resize it further, I can zoom out and then continue resizing. I find this feature very useful. Is there a way to have similar functionality in Firefox? I’m currently using the Firefox Developer Edition.

I am experiencing more and more pages suddenly not working on numerous websites. I am working with an Imac running OS 10.9.5. I am experiencing problems with Firefox, Chrome and Safari and am having to revert to my Microsoft Lap top for a working browser.

Any ideas on this???

I recently have gotten a message about manually updating Firefox on my Windows 11 system. Even after I updated, I then I started getting the same message and also "Failed to check for updates" in the Firefox "about" box and settings page.

I even went about uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it while deleting the Firefox Program Files and user AppData directories. I also checked for a Windows Firewall entry for the program.

Is there something in another directory or registry setting I need to delete or change? Or does Firefox use a different program for updating that needs a firewall rule?

I accepted this the other day but now don't want it. It is a Print popup & at bottom says Grow I can not find how to remove this. Popup shows this: Unlock the Print Button!

Can you recommend some kind of extension thet will only check current icons for the bookmarks? Just that. I don't need duplicate bookmarks checker, inactice checker and God knows what else checker. Just icons, that's good enough for me.

I've been using Firefox home content shortcuts usefully on my Windows system. I installed Ubuntu on Vmware last night and synced Firefox account in it. After that, the home content shortcuts are all changed to the default status. I think it's because that I clicked the sync now button on Ubuntu. Is there a way to roll it back? Thanks.

latest 124.0.2 causing severe problems, it will near instantly bloat to fill all RAM and SWAP even in safe mode causes system load over 24! only solution is to reboot very problematic on for ex: https://epg.pw/xmltv/epg_CA.xml hard to get a screencap since system is nearly totally unresponsive. RAM is ok SSD is ok MX Linux is ok
