Everytime I open Firefox, none of my bookmarks, passwords, or history are saved. How do I change this?

I recently had to wipe my MacBook Air clean thus prompting me to download Firefox - version 70.01 (64-bit). I set up all of my work websites, history, passwords, emails, etc., but every time I close the browser and try to open it again, nothing is saved. I've tried several times and I am at a loss. Yes, I have created a Firefox account, and even this won't leave me logged in if I close the browser. I have to start over every time. Any advice?

When I do a search ( say Adolf Hitler) it comes up mostly in German. I do no German. I deleted the browser and reloaded - no change
the question pretty much is the problem, but if I search using Safari then there is no German.
How can I recover my settings after a crash?

How can I allow the share screen automatically, Firefox don't even allow remember choice. I run Firefox inside a Xvfb session, is there anyway to accept the share screen automatically ( config, run with hidden flag ) or programmatically ?

They were all present a day or two ago and I noticed something was wrong when firefox stopped autofilling the login data. is there a way to check what's going on and what caused this? and also how to I get them back?

I am trying to reach my cell phone provider for support, but I cannot get the 'Click her to chat' button to do anything?? Now I am going to be forced to call them for support, and that is a monotonous process that involves being put on hold for hours, or having to get a call back later in the day. The issue (attached) is that the page has a small red box in the middle of the screen that is used to start a support session when you click it, but clicking that box does nothing now. I KNOW this is a Firefox browser thing, and am personally getting sick to death of all of the useless, pointless security features added to this browser, that only seem designed to make it impossible to comfortably browse / use the internet. I am seriously getting ready to switch to a more user friendly browser, in order to be allowed to use the internet without Firefox constantly deciding what I am and am not allowed to do online, unless they can fix this!!

It appears to do just what I need, by exporting the Safari Browsing History from the database to HTML which it says can then be Imported into Firefox. Sounds good, but I would prefer to not have to buy a 3rd party product. Any clues? Thank you.

I therefore DO NOT want to increase the font globally. Is this possible? Previous answers to similar requests pointed users to an extension to do this. However that extension no longer works (because of some update in 2017 I think). Thanks for your help!

I've been using multiple browsers so far, and I'm interested in the speed of Firefox and I'm interested. I would like to change 'Open Address in New Tab' function, which is now 'Alt + return', to 'Command + return'. It seems that Firefox does not support this seemingly simple function. The 'Saka key', which I recommend on the official website, has many features that I want before like 'Vimium', but it was not what I was looking for this. I need help.
