Since updating to Firefox 70.0 my desktop notifications aren't working on Windows 7 PC. I used to get a notification near the Windows taskbar when I received an email or a facebook event. I've checked in Firefox options and they are definitely enabled. I've also checked on the permissions for the individual sites and notifications are definitely set to Allow. I've tried clearing the cache/cookies/data completely. I've also tried disabling notifications and then re-enabling them
How can I recover my settings after a crash?
All of my website addresses that were across the top of my screen are gone after a crash tonight. Are they stored somewhere?

I just updated to Firefox 70. Several sites no longer function. Fast.com hangs. Facebook let's me log in, but then fails to load. Ebay login in is grayed out. Yahoo loads about half the page then hangs. Even the firefox site has issues. When I tried to establish a new Firefox Account it said my cookies were disabled. I followed instructions to set Enhanced Tracking to custom and unchecked cookies and no help. I then unchecked everything under custom, still no good. I even added Firefox.com to the allowed cookies exceptions and it still said my cookies were disabled. I finally set up a Firefox Account using EDGE! Please somebody help get Firefox 70 fixed or tell me how to roll back to the previous version. Thanks.

As it is not opening any website :/ I disable AVG Network Security for all and also windows FW seems to be disable and still not working?! I also lost all my website browsing tabs, and cant import them successfully into newest Firefox?! I don't know what changes have been done to this firefox but apparently it is the worst changes they have been done, since its not working automatically. I wasted 2h going around this and still not working! WHen I use version 50 is working fine but now can't import any bookmarks?

For many years, the content management system that I have been using has worked just fine with previous versions of Firefox. To access the backend area for a client of mine to edit their own website I built for them, they would go to their website and hit Control-Y on any page of their website. This would bring up the login prompt window so they could login and start live editing their site. Now, when I hit Control-Y, nothing happens.
I saw a previous post that mentioned adjusting (allowing) keyboard shortcuts in the settings area. I did this but unfortunately, this didn't solve my issue.
Can someone tell me why this no longer works with Firefox and what the possible fix / workaround might be?

This started when I installed V68 on my Mac (I'm on 68.0.2 now, Mac is 10.12.6). About half the time when I start my computer in the morning, when I try to browse *any* site (http or https), I get the TLS handshake attempt that lasts for several minutes, then connection fails.
BUT, *unlike other posts with this problem*, if I restart my computer (restarting FF does not fix it), all is well. A detail (not sure if relevant): the pages my (Comcast) server has local copies of, that is, my home page and a couple of very frequently accessed pages, I can access, but any other site, regardless of http or https, results in the TLS handshake "freeze 'n fail."
- Edit: I just lost then, 10 mins later, regained my Comcast (internet, mail, cable). I did not re-start computer or FF, but when signal returned, I got the dreaded TLS Handshake Freeze 'N Fail. Again, computer restart let me come here to report.

I discovered that since recently network.http.spdy.enabled always reset to false ... tried to solve by following different solutions described on mozilla website ... tried to solve by reinstalling completely firefox software ... tried to solve by deleting completely the Mozilla User Roaming profile ... C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ ... ... but nothing change/fix ... network.http.spdy.enabled is always to false and network.http.spdy.enabled.http2 is always to true with the consequence that google, cloudflare, ... websites are no longer working with http/2. Tried all of the things suggested in the troubleshooting section to no avail. I don't have this problem with chrome or edge. I HATE both of those browsers and hope that this is a temporary issue with Firefox. Running win10 x64 with latest Firefox update. Is there anything that can fix this?

Hi there-- I just switched over to Firefox and want to use it for all my work. Unfortunately often while I'm using Google Drive it runs very slowly, I'll be typing and words won't appear on screen for several seconds. I've taken to using Chrome just for Google Drive, but this is not a good long term solution. I've read another article about this suggesting that removing Pioneer will help with the issue, but I don't have that plugin installed. Would appreciate any help.

If I open a website with Firefox then close browser and go to open another site on my desktop, Firefox says " Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window". If I hit the close tab, the new site opens. I cannot find any other instances of Firefox running when it says this. Other browsers, Chrome etc. do not exhibit this behaviour. Any ideas ?
