My bank changed their system and I cannot download my statements. I get a message "No pdf content found." The bank says it is because of Firefox:

"If you want to view them with Firefox with this update you would need to go into your preferences and allow locational services with our website. Firefox is automatically designed to block third party cookies and unless you go in and allow them for our website it will not work with this browsers. Google Chrome and Microsoft edge allows for them which is why for our site they are recommend. We did update our website for security reasons which does mean any time there is an update someone using Firefox would have to go in each time to allow locational services for our site each time. That is a design with Firefox that choose to have in place. "

This is from www.firstinternetbank.com

How can I fix this? I could not find how to change "locational services"

How to use FireFox as incognito without sending my identification tracking information? I have read a bunch of information about privacy with Mozilla and am quite confused.

I would like instructions that are simple to understand and implement.

I have heard that when some airlines know that you are looking for tickets ... the ticket prices are increased when you go to their website over time and time again.

Thank you

I am reaching out with a request regarding the regional availability of my add-on.

I would like to disable access to my add-on for users in Russia. Could you please guide me on how to restrict its availability in this specific region? If there are any settings in the Developer Hub or additional steps I need to take, I would appreciate detailed instructions.

Hi there,

I know that many users have hated that Firefox asks for the master password from the beginning, but I would like to find an option for it to request it at the user's discretion.

I'm currently using both Firefox Developer Edition and Firefox ESR in portable versions stored on a USB drive for my work outside of the office or home.

The Developer Edition is synced with my Mozilla account and used on both Windows 10 and Linux systems. Conversely, Firefox ESR, which I use on Windows 7 devices, has synchronization disabled. As a result, with Sync turned off and no sensitive data stored in any Firefox installation, Firefox ESR doesn't prompt me for a master password.

Why do I want Firefox to ask for the master password right from the start, even without any sensitive data saved? It's quite simple: sometimes I'm surrounded by non-techy people and I'd like to give the 'impression' (when they see me using Firefox, because most use 'the other browser') that I'm 'protecting something'. It's also a way to 'intimidate' to some extent (if a password isn't entered, they'll think something won't work properly).

It may sound silly, but it's something that 'the other browser' doesn't offer locally.

Also (and I think it's logical), I find it ironic that having other sensitive data saved in Firefox, like enabled cookies, it doesn't ask for the master password, only when there are saved passwords or forms.

Firefox history contains youtube videos I didn't watch (and that aren't in my google youtube history). I've realised they go back May, roughly when I got my new linux machine and installed Firefox. However, they also seem to have been watched outside the time any of my devices apart from my phone are on. They're mostly just junk videos about minecraft etc.

See attached pic - the ones this morning between 5.48 and 7am I didn't have the laptop turned on. My phone was on though, but by the bed.

How has this happened and how can I track down how to stop it?

I'm writing this on my Windows desktop, can send details of other devices if useful.

I have micro trend security and they have a program called Pay Guard that i have always used. This program worked on Nov 9 but stopped working on Nov 10. There was a Firefox update in that time frame. I took the computer to geek squad and they have said that the program is now not compatible between Mozilla and Firefox. I have always used this and hope that the problem can be resolved. I wanted to let you know of this problem. Please fix it. Thank you Cindy

updating my profile i found option of 2nd factor notification that I use always when offered. it asked me to make up my own unique code that no one else would have so i made up a string of letters-numbers but nothing happened, tried only my favorite numbers - zip. then couple favorite words - zip. so started to close computer and noticed a lot of emails from Mozilla each with typical 6-digit confirmation code number - so i am not supposed to invent my own private code? all of the numbers emailed to me have long since expired. Please don't kill my accounts! I use a lot of Moz apps - but must use hateful Outfock b/c university no longer supports T'bird.

Dear Mozilla Firefox Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to inquire about the removal of the following SSL/TLS certificates from Firefox's trusted certificate store. These certificates are identified by the following SHA1 fingerprints:

SHA1 Fingerprint: ff:bd:cd:e7:82:c8:43:5e:3c:6f:26:86:5c:ca:a8:3a:45:5b:c3:0a SHA1 Fingerprint: b8:be:6d:cb:56:f1:55:b9:63:d4:12:ca:4e:06:34:c7:94:b2:1c SHA1 Fingerprint: 58:d1:df:95:95:67:6b:63:c0:f0:5b:1c:17:4d:8b:84:0b:c8:78 SHA1 Fingerprint: e9:a8:5d:22:14:52:1c:5b:aa:0a:b4:be:24:6a:23:8a:c9:ba:e2 SHA1 Fingerprint: 8a:2f:af:57:53:b1:b0:e6:a1:04:ec:5b:6a:69:71:6d:f6:1c:e2:84 SHA1 Fingerprint: ae:c5:fb:3f:c8:e1:bf:c4:e5:4f:03:07:5a:9a:e8:00:b7:f7:b6 Could you kindly provide clarification as to why these specific certificates were removed? Understanding the rationale behind this decision will help us assess any potential impact on our systems and ensure that we are adhering to the best practices for security.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Best regards, Vamsi [edited email from public]

Hello,

I could really use some help with with setting up integrated, connected, and secure products across all devices and all accounts. I've somehow got various products and applications blocking and preventing other applications from working. I am not really sure what's going on as I am newer to these types of services. Any help is greatly appreciated, so thank you in advance.

I have blocked all websites from accessing my geolocation by default in the privacy settings and there are no exceptions on the list.

And yet,

1) many websites I visit seem to have my geolocation, even though I have never shared any information with them

2) the last two suggestions on the first page when I search for anything are always linked to my location

How is this possible? How do I fix it?

Thank you

As WIN11 Pro administrator, using Firefox desktop 132.0.1, a popup saying "Windows Security - Do you want to allow public and private networks to access app? firefox.exe"

This popup blocked all user input except to click on the popup. That behavior is suspicious, so I used ctrl-alt-delete to close it - but no user input was allowed because the Task Manager was behind the modal full-screen popup. I manually shutdown (uncontrolled crash) rather than click on it. I suspect this popup is normal behavior, though I've never seen or heard of it before. Not all software plays fair after all. Nothing to report from perfmon.msc > reliability report. But we live in a software minefield, and I can't find record of anyone stepping on this mine before. If anyone has seen or heard of similar please make a comment. Thank you guys!
