Hi All, Apologies if I've missed something, but I can't find an answer anywhere. I've got a fresh install of Firefox version 133 running on Windows 10, and I can't seem to install any add-ons. When I click the install button from the add-on's page, it just sits there with the loading animation and seemingly does nothing for several minutes. Attempting to right-click on the download button, "save link as", and hitting "install add-on from file" using that saved link as another user suggested from a similar problem does nothing at all; there's no feedback whatsoever. The add-on I've been trying to install is U-Block Origin, but I've tried this with other add-ons to the same results. The only other thing I've tried is installing one of the recommended add-ons from the add-on page directly, Privacy Badger specifically. This causes an actual window to pop up telling me Firefox is verifying the add-on, but nothing happens past this point. It just sits there, eternally attempting to verify the add-on with no progress ever made, and no error message ever spitting out. I haven't found anyone else with this exact problem. Hopefully I'm missing something obvious and I can feel really silly about the whole thing soon. Thanks much!

My facebook account keeps getting double logins and ip4 logins rather than ip6 addresses. I think my ex-employer has installed a certificate into firefox on my laptop. I know absolutely nothing about certificates and have never knowingly installed one into my firefox web browser. But after looking I seem to have a certificate, is this certificate something that is allowing someone else access to what I view on my browser or allowing access to my cookies? Would users normally have their own firefox user certificate installed that they are unable to remove with a year on the date? I have added 2 screenshots. Starting last night, every time I try to open a page/website in Firefox the page times out and an hourglass symbol and the words "New Tab" appear in the tab. In addition, clicking on one of my bookmarks doesn't work either and nothing happens in that case. Any ideas?

When playing videos in various websites (Jellyfin, Mastodon, Youtube) hypridle is receiving many 'ScreenSaver inhibit' messages that are never cleared.

A similar topic pointed to dom.screenwakelock.enabled being the culprit and disabling that fixed that users issue. But I've done that and the problem persists (It did remove one extra lock, but that was the one that was getting cleared.

Chromium sets and clears 1 lock correctly.

System: NixOS unstable DE: Hyprland

I'm using `exec-once = hypridle >> ~/log.txxt` to monitor the logs.

This behaviour is new in the last few months.

It is only present on one of my two systems that is very similar, they both use the same nixos config. The one with the issue is a i5-4590S based system with no external GPU, the one that doesn't have the issue is a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with RX5500. But that may be a red herring, I don't always update the both at the same time, so they may have different software versions.

Hello I do not know what I have done, or how I have managed to do this, but EVERY TIME I start up my Firefox it asks me for my Windows sign-in login details.

I have gone through as many pages within the Firefox settings will allow, and I am unable to find anything that indicates how to turn this option off.

All I am wanting to do is press the Firefox icon, and for Firefox to start up, WITHOUT Firefox asking me for my Windows security login details.

Anybody have an answer for this issue please? I'll GREATLY appreciate any fix recommended to me for this issue.

Why are there so many updates for Firefox? If signing me out of all my open tabs is for security reasons, then cntl-shft-t defies that purpose? I will just contineu my search for another browser to use instead of Firefox.

I have a new MacBook Air with the M3 chip. I cannot login to my Costco account on this Mac. I can log in using my old MacBook and my iPhone. I am using the same settings as the ones on my old Mac. What seems to be the problem? Is it the new chip?

I keep experiencing this problem with different websites: Safari works, Firefox doesn't.

Sample: I turned out the enhanced tracking protection, Privacy is set to Standard for

I entered valid license numbers (230880, 239798). Firefox displays NOTHING, no error message. Safari displays the relevant info.

Why is this and what should I do if I want to continue using Firefox? Thanks.

Hide some folders and then option to show all folders.

The folder section should have option to hide it and option to show all folders. etc. And also quicker link all profiles on the browser

Like most people, the only reason I stick with this browser is for the ability to set it the way I want. Accepted the "upgrade" to 133 and it screwed my settings. Downgrading did not help. So fed up with this [redacted].

Hello, I am running Firefox on a W10-Pro PC. I always click the lock to check certificate validation. In the last month I keep seeing "Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla".

When I click for more information I see that "Norton Web/Mail Shield" does not recognize the certificate issuer. When I click on Learn More it takes me to a Firefox site "How to disable the Enterprise Roots preference" I also checked W10 certmgr.msc and I see Norton is listed. Images included below. I would love to resolve this issue. Thank you for your time.
