Hello everyone,

I’m wondering what exactly "remote improvements" actually are.

Mozilla says: "Remote improvements range from fixes to feature changes to Firefox. They are delivered remotely between versions and updates to make your browsing experience stabler and richer (...)."

They are not studies or A/B tests, as those are enabled/disabled separately. They also do not concern WebCompat shims, Safe Browsing, or similar features, nor larger security fixes or more significant bugs that are resolved with a out-of-band update – correct? Is it similar to Windows CU Previews - meaning improvements, fixes, and feature changes that would be included in the next upcoming regular update anyway? Not a case of "let’s roll something out and see how users react" thing?

Have I understood that correctly?

I have searched these forums for "always on top" and the results were completely useless, so I assume no one has asked this question before, or the search engine is ineffective.. anyway, the question is:

When watching a video where you can click the right-side button to pop the video out to Picture-in-Picture mode, the video window that pops out is permanently set to Always On Top. It is often inconvenient for it to be Always On Top. I would like to be able to right-click on that video window and be able to select an option to disable Always On Top, or failing that, I would like to be able to disable this Always On Top via manually setting something in about:config. Can anyone recommend a solution that doesn't involve installing any third-party software to control Always on Top behavior? Thank you in advance.

Updated and lost everything in my browser and now is complete crap, no bookmarks, and it install google as a search engine that doesn't work. Can you help me rollback to the version that worked just fine? Searched help and didn't find a way to resolve problem.

The Facebook page on Firefox has the "fly-outs' overlapping the base page instead of the 'fly-out" appearing in a separate tab. When I use Chrome, which I do not want to, the "Fly-out" pops up correctly. I do not want to switch to Chrome ... How can this be fixed? Thank you!

Would it be possible to extend the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" to not delete cookies from any domain stored in a bookmark? (I don't want to delete those as I'll get logged out/lose my preferences etc)
