when i wanna open a page on youtube, i got some errors like below in my console window:

Firefox Desktop issue,

McAfee malware has entered the Firefox browser a couple of days ago claiming viruses have been detected & requires me to click on their popup to remove it. Additional warning follow and reoccur every couple of minutes. I don’t have McAfee Anti-virus software on my computer & have not installed any new software for some time. The anti-software I have works fine (Spybot & Microsoft Security Essentials) and detects no problems. The first application I initiate upon boot-up each morning is Firefox and that’s when the problem begins. It is somehow related to Firefox. I cannot find any processes in play.

I tried all six free malware scanning programs suggested but nothing found

When I use Yandex.com, search results appear for a fraction of a second and then page goes blank (please see screenshot).

It is not a Yandex thing, since I can access Yandex search in Chrome. Also, as you can see from my screenshot, although I use Adguard VPN it is disasbled for Yandex.

This is new behavior. I already tried clearing the cache

PS: There was an old locked thread reporting disappearing search results about three years ago but the person asking for help said if he hovered his cursor he could see links. Nothing happens when I hover the blank page. It appears to be genuinely blank. Thank you.

When I open a locally downloaded pdf in firefox, the background is displayed as what was previously displayed on that portion of the screen, and scrolling simply overlays moved text over what was previously displayed. Does not appear in screenshots. One of the images shows what the pdf looks like prior to scrolling, and one after.

Firefox is synced on all my computers. Same version. Same extensions. I can't login on my primary desktop as of last night 5/23/24. I can login/watch Prime on my laptop. My desktop gives me the attached error.

Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." Firefox's DNS over HTTPS is preventing my access to 2 websites I've used for years for booking golf tee times. The 2 sites are www.roosterrun.com and www.windsorgolf.com. I want to remove this feature and return my PC to it's previous settings. Please help. John Blevins bold text

I'm on Win11. The recent releases of FF seem to have disabled my ability (while in FF) to bring my mouse to the lower area of my screen to have the Win11 lower task bar appear. In order to get here, I have to shrink FF via it's upper right hand shrink button, then in the Win11 home screen bring my mouse pointer down to the lower screen area to popup that task bar. Gemini suggests there's a compatibility setting related to issues with high res screens that FF has... but I can't find this switch/setting... maybe Gemini is hallucinating about this. (Curiously, Gemini insists that this is not a FF issue... despite the fact that it's the only app on my PC having this issue).

I have two problems:

1. After importing bookmarks from html file i can not see them under search bar. only i can see them when clicking on Show your bookmarks /Ctrl+Shift+O/. Bookmark toolbar is checked into Always show Where is the problem?

2. Blank shortcuts of some websites, i tried to fix it with all methods but failed like: Deleting the IconCache.db file then restart windows explorer Command prompt sfc /scannow Command prompt dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth Disable tablet mode and Widgets

While following this step in order to reduce CPU and memory consumption of firefox [content-prefs.sqlite file], I accidently deleted the Profile folder itself.

After this firefox wasn't opening and was stuck on not responding in activity monitor.

I reinstalled firefox, multiple times even after a shutdown, removing any old files in the Library folder. Still it's stuck on the same issue, firefox doesn't opens up even once.

Hello, I am using Firefox for my company. We are using Quickbase system to access the data from internal server. Previously, I can allow Firefox to show the image that classified as unsecured context. I could see the setting option to allow unsecured pictures. But now I changed my account on my computer and when I use firefox, I can not see the image file from server and also I can not find how to allow unsecure picture. Is there way to set to allow unsecure stuff from Firefox? Please let me know.

Firefox uses about half a gig on my disk, that's: '~/.mozilla' and '~/.cache/mozilla' can that be reduced? Either some setting that limits disk use or even a manual deletion of ancient stuff?

After SUSE-15.6 updated FIREFOX to 115.11.0esr, all sites show choppy videos. I have no idea why or what I can do to resolve the issue. If someone has an idea, it would be greatly appreciated

I wanted to disable the "Moves the URL left or right". It turns out that this functionality won't be useful to me, but this shortcut is the one that I use the most :/
