Unblocking Sites blocked due to suspected XSS Attack

A while back, I accidentally clicked on "always block" in the popup when I received a notice of a potential cross-site script attack for a frequently visited site. Since then, whenever the site comes up in a search and i click on it, Firefox will not open it. Instead, I need to right-click, copy link, and paste in the address bar. I have tried to find information on how to undo this, but have been unsuccessful. Is there a list somewhere of blocked sites that I can unblock? Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I followed the instructions on the support pages to transfer my profiles from an old W7 laptop to a new W10 one. After the copying of the profiles to the correct locations neither Firefox nor Thunderbird would start complaining that they could not find the profiles.

What I did (same thing for Thunderbird) 1. Opened Firefox troubleshooting on the old W7 laptop, opened the profile folder. 2. Closed Firefox 3. moved two levels up 4. copied the Profiles folder to a usb drive.

On new W 10 laptop 1. Opened Firefox troubleshooting on new W10 laptop, opened the profile folder. 2. Closed Firefox 3. moved two levels up 4. renamed the existing Profiles folder to Profiles OLD 5. copied the Profiles folder from the usb to the same correct location on the new laptop

When I tried opening Firefox on the new laptop it would not open complaining that it could not find the profile. Firefox had opened correctly previously.

Then when I renamed the moved Profiles folder to Profiles NEW and renamed Profiles OLD to Profiles, Firefox opened normally on the new laptop.

Identical procedure and result with the Thunderbird profile transfer.

What should I do?

I recently installed my OS and backup the entire profile folder of Firefox. When I put the key4 and logins file in to the fresh install there was only one password in it, the remaining passwords were gone. I also noticed that a new file (logins.json.corrupt) is created along with file(logins.json). I tried to paste the files again to fix it but same issue. I think the files are corrupt. Is there any way to fix it?

I've tried to clear the history/cache and also turned off vpn.

It just happened, it was working a few moments ago.

First, thanks for eliminating your direct customer support leaving issues to the community aka "blind leading the blind"!

Your browser, which requires daily updates for some unknown reason , has disabled Java Script which means I can not access photos on websites such as Bring A Trailer which also has adopted its' f... you attitude by eliminating their support.

If you have an accurate fix for my version of Firefox (lord knows how to find it), please provide in straight forward English that those over 30 can understand.

The extensions I'm using are Duckduckgo privacy essentials and Privacy Badger. Please help because I don't want to switch to Chrome.

I use windows FF and I dont use any sync etc.

When i bookmark any site (because I have many book marks already) I am trying to organize them better with folders and such.

The problem is when i bookmark a website today, or when I try to move a previous book mark FROM a current location like OTHER BOOKMARKS, or RECENTLY BOOKMARKS, or ADDITIONAL BOOKMARKS.....to a NEW location or folder, it moves the book mark as i want and that is great, however it leaves behind the original bookmark and if i delete the original bookmark it will ALSO delete the clone bookmark i just moved to a new location.

Obviously once i move a bookmark from X to Y, I want to only have 1 instance of the bookmark not 2 in 2 different areas......

When i move a bookmark, I am dragging to a new area,folder etc....or using the bookmark editor to drag it from x to y....

Please help......I am not sure why firefox does this or what maybe i am doing wrong or how to fix. Thanks

What can Y do to replace all my passwords into only one : - having something from the alphabet and some current number (eg ABC321) - which is only valid for a chosen period as chosen by a user (eg until March 2021) - that informs me by a message like "Be attentfull : your password is soon retired. Renew it soon" - that can be used on an old Pc with Microsoft Vista.... - ...and on a relative new laptop with Windows10 - also on a HuaWay if possible - when I am dying, the password should further exists until the password time is gone.

In this case I never have to make and hide a list where I can forget the hidden place or finding old (wrong) passwords or never forget what the other passwords were.

Dear Volunteer,

First of all, I have to thank you to build the community in your freetime. I've changed my computer. I have 2 firefox accounts, the first for private browsing, the second one for work browsing, and I use them via different Firefox profiles. The configuration of the private account (adamsterbinszky@gmail.com) was succesful. But the configuration of the work account (sterbi@orfk.police.hu) was not. I've used this accounts since 2013, and I'd reconfigured them so many times, and there wasn't any problem until now. The actually problem is the unreceived verigfication email. I've tried the actions below: - checking email working -> Perfectly works. - checking spam folder -> There is no any mail in the spam folder. - adding accounts@firefox.com to contact list -> Done. I did not get the verification emails. The administrators probably changed the security settings. I cannot log in, I cannot sync. I tried to send you this letter from my work e-mail, but I did not find any support address, just this option. How can I resolve this problem? Thans for your help.

Recently, I have been experiencing issues with several of my Office365 SharePoint websites: some page elements are not loading, other are constantly reloading. In order to access my documents, I have to switch to either Edge or Chrome. Also some other pages sometimes have similar issues (xing.com and others). I have deleted all Mozilla files in %APPDATA% and reinstalled Firefox, which did not help. Looks like there is an issue with the current release (83.0).
