I've got four rows of eight top sites, not sure what the default order they're in is based upon, but it would be nice if we could have them arranged alphabetically, as an option. Is this possible, or must we move each individual one manually, to accomplish this?

I have my Instagram tab pinned, as well as my Facebook Messenger tab, and every time I start Firefox, the Instagram tab is not pinned anymore. Yet, the Messenger tab is still pinned.
Is this a bug or a feature of the Facebook Container? I assume a bug since it only happens to my Instagram Tab.

I found another thread on that with a solution:

However that solution doesn't work for me. Did something change?
I would ask in that thread but it's closed (pretty ridiculous) so here's a new thread to add to the clutter.
I have a portable installation of Firefox. Might that be the problem?

When more than one tab is open, to close ALL tabs by clicking the "X" in the far upper right, a pop-up alert warns and asks if the closure is intentional. A constant annoyance is when I mistakenly close the WRONG tab when multiple tabs are open. Why is there no similar alert to confirm my choice to close a single tab? It would save me time and frustration.

The tab bar should distinguish the active tab (in part) by removing its bottom border. When I restart Firefox, the tab bar displays correctly but before long that bottom border of the active tab reappears. Changing to a different theme doesn't help. All I can think of is that perhaps I have too many add-ons or bookmarks installed. (I currently have just under 50 add-ons.) What can I do to keep that bottom border off the active tab?
told to delete some tabs then try to reboot: I exited by selecting close and find i have lost all tabs. How can i recover tabs

Hello dear support! I would like to immediately warn you that I used Yandex translator to write the text, so there may be grammatical errors :) I've been using Firefox for a very long time and I'm happy with everything. But recently I have encountered the" problem " of opening tabs, it has always been there, but I am not comfortable using it.When you search for material intensively by links, when you open any link on the search page by clicking the left mouse button or using the right mouse button "open link in a new tab", in both cases a new tab opens, it throws there and you have to move back to the search page from the opened tab and open another link that I also need, which is inconvenient. In this regard, a question. Is there a setting in the browser so that by clicking on the right button I do not go to an open tab, but it opens itself, and I immediately open new links without going to them initially and I would decide which one to go to first. This feature is implemented in Opera, but I want to stay with Firefox.
Sincerely, Mr. Mozdor

The new tab + sign, until now located immediately after the last open tab, has moved to the far right of the tab bar. Although it is still usable, I prefer the old location. Was this an (un/)intentional change by Firefox or is it a glitch? Is there a way to restore it to its original position? I read the similar question by GrokSurf (9/1/17): https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1173831 and the solutions presented didn't seem to apply to my situation: -The only things on my tab bar are my tabs and, to the far right, the print and new tab buttons. -My theme is the default theme. -I opened Firefox in safe mode and the new tab button was still on the far right.
Any help will be appreciated!

Hi community, when i have only one tab opened in Firefox i can click on the "close tab"-X or Ctrl+W. This action will close Firefox, but it won't close the tab. So when i start Firefox this last opened tab, which usually would be closed after clicking on the X, will open at start again.
This behavior drives me crazy. If i want to close Firefox with the only tab opened remaining until restart, i usually would click the red X of the Windows forms control elements.
Is there any option in "about:config" which really can close the last remaining tab, while also closing Firefox?
Thank you

And yes I know that I can just press F6 for focus it, but i'm lazy

I've made several TAB GROUPS with the STG plugin. But when I want to close the tab group windows I get a warning like: "You are about to close 37 tabs. Are you sure you want to continue?" What? How do I close the windows without closing all the tabs and loosing them? Isn't the purpose of using STG to help you organize all of your open tabs so that you CAN close the windows? Or, when I close the STG Group and close the tabs, will they still be accessible through the STG Manage Groups window? Thanks for the help!
