For years, I have used print to pdf in Firefox to generate pdf files of long web pages. It always worked. But lately, I noticed that huge numbers of blank pages are inserted in the pdf file, seemingly at random. I looked at the HTML source, and could not see anything that obviously triggers the blank pages. For example, a web page that ought to print to about 35 pages generates a file of more than 600 pages, with most of them blank.

I can use Microsoft Edge as an alternative, but pdf files from that browser strip out all the color, and are nevertheless super huge, about ten times larger than the ones from Firefox. E.g. the file mentioned above, about 35 pages, would be about 1.3 MB from firefox, and 12 MB from Edge. So getting the file from Firefox would be nice.

Is there a reason why print to pdf is behaving in this strange way, and anything I can do about it?

When I click on the link for Hyperallergic Magazine, the page doesn't load. I don't have it blocked in Notifications. I have allowed pop-up windows for it. I can't figure out what else might be preventing it from loading. It is free. I don't have this problem with any other website that I know of. I'm running the latest version of Firefox & have Windows 11 on a one-year-old PC. I didn't have this problem in my old computer, which ran Windows 7. Please help. Thanks.

In recent weeks a PopUp is appearing on my Outlook.live.com Hotmail screen: "Add Outlook.live.com as an application for mailto links? There is no choice to Decline only to Add it. You can Close the link with the X but it keeps returning each time I log in.

We are cautioned repeatedly not to click on unknown links so I haven't.

Could someone please explain in "layman terms" why I am getting this, what it's for and how to stop it?

I've had a security breach where a Discord user got access to an email account. I'm going through all computers to make sure there is no malware that might be related to discord. I found one item in my download preferences that says "discord' but everything I've tried won't allow me to erase it. Any information on what this might be? and how/if I should erase it? (In fact, I don't know what any of the items are in my content types)

I have used Firefox for many years and have one chosen color for all visited links. Since the latest automatic update to 125.0.1 a few days ago, the color for all visited links on the New York Times reverted back to the default color rather than my chosen one. My color was erased from all links. Now, in all sections, some of the clicked on links (articles) show my chosen color but many others do not change when I click on them. It has nothing to do with my settings as other sites show my color on all visited links. It seems to be an issue unique to the NYT's. I would appreciate any advice for you may wish to inform them? Concurrent with the most recent automatic windows update (may or may not be the problem), Firefox with duck-duck-go will not go to almost any site. All I get is a spinning icon or a blank page, not even any error messages. This was even true trying to go to this page until I restarted in trouble shooting mode. Until I can get Firefox working again I have been using Chrome with duck-duck-go. Note any search, i.e. 'hotels in Italy' or even 'MSN' do the same: spinning icon or blank page!! Any help would be appreciated. Also I noticed that my bookmarks were missing and there was no bookmarks drop-down on my tools line. I have run malware bytes and it showed clean, same with CCleaner. I have re-installed Firefox; no difference. Please help. and also, any way to find and replace my extensive bookmarks list? I have reduced my privacy to near zero and turned off firewalls and all limits I could find while testing for that. That did not change anything.

Since the last upgrade of firefox to version 125 we cannot download anything anymore from our internal servers using firefox. At first the download is blocked because of an insecure source (but the server is on our internal LAN). Then when we choose to allow it anyway, the file always is corrupted. That means we cannot save any report results anymore.

I already tried to uninstall firefox and install an earlier version (124) but the result was the same.

Please help to solve this issue asap

After the last update my primary password prompt box is outlined in red. It was never outlined in red before the update. I cannot find any information for this issue. Anyone else experiencing this anomaly (at least it appears to be one since no one has reported it). Thanks

Is there a way to have the PC version of Firefox block ads and pop-ups as effectively as the Android version? If I visit the same site on Firefox Android and Firefox for Windows and Linux, the PC versions are popping up ads and new tabs but Android version doesn't.

When I enter text in Firefox 125.0.1 for Netgear's firmware download page at https://www.netgear.com/support/download/ to search for "GS108Ev3" Ethernet Switch, I get no response. It works in Firefox Troubleshoot Mode and works with Chrome Browser.

Outlook is not working properly in Firefox. Works fine in other browsers but I prefer Firefox. It is only showing the first 20 or so e-mails, will not show e-mails in any other box, i.e sent etc.

The comment windows are present but do not function. The youtube hosts are accepting comments from other folks. I wonder if some Firefox settings need adjustment so I can participate. If you reply I hope it goes straight to my email address as I nmay not find this site easily/again.

Firefox decided to remove the total amount of homepage shortcuts. For months, it allowed for 4 rows and 8 columns, with blank "Add Shortcut" shortcuts. This allowed me to organize or split my shortcuts better. This morning, it decided to move all shortcuts together. As per the "Before" and "After" screenshots attached.

Usual disclaimers: Firefox 125.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 No Config edits No extensions currently installed manipulate, affect or otherwise influence shortcuts

I opened my laptop out of sleep mode and it quickly reset itself, and when it loaded back up Firefox no longer worked. Everything was working fine prior to the reset, but now I can load any websites, nor do any of the menus within Firefox work. I keep clicking on the menu button in the top right, but nothing happens. The only thing that seems to work is the add-ons icon. I can click that and it navigates me to the add-ons page, and from there I can get in to my settings, but that's it.

No websites will load at all. I've already tried configuring my firewall to allow Firefox, and I've removed it and re-added it to my exceptions list, but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know what might be causing this, and what can be done to fix it?
