Hello,

Recently I rebuilt my Widows 11 laptop, which meant that I needed to install Firefox again. I did this and signed into to sync all my add-ons again. The add-ons installed without issue, however the icons for them are not displayed on the tool bar. I can access them using the jigsaw icon, but this is is less inconvenient that accessing the add-on directly.

I then reset Firefox in case it was a glitch and signed in again to allow the sync to reinstall the add-ons. This time only the Privacy Badger icon made it onto the toolbar. Again I can access the add-ons using the jigsaw icon.

I have tried to add the add-ons to the Customise Toolbar setting, but they do not show up in the list of things that can be added.

Firefox version: 112.0.1 (64 bit)

I have attached images to show what is happening. Is there anyway I can force the add-on icons onto the toolbar to make them more accessible?

When I go to Settings Firefox shows that it is the default browser and there isn't an option for changing it to not being the default browser for Windows, Google, and other items that I save to my Documents.

As of last night, without warning and without me changing any settings, or restarting my computer, when I go to open Candy Crush (on Facebook) the loading process freezes and I get a banner at the top of the screen telling me "This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page." At that point I can close the banner, or stop the page, but either way no further progress is made and the page seems to freeze. Candy Crush will still run on Edge (which I would REALLY rather not use at all!!!!). So this is a Firefox issue. Please tell me how to fix it.

For the first time, I have got a message 'For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar.' I have always used the bookmarks toolbar. This message just takes up space, so I would like to get rid of it.

I'm using Firefox 112 on Windows 10. The toolbar contains icons for several extensions that I don't want to see. I click on the >> menu and then Customize Toolbar. That opens the Overflow Menu. It says, "Drag and drop items here to keep them within reach but out of your toolbar." I try to drag one of those extension icons onto the Overflow Menu. It won't go. The dragged icon picks up a circle with a line through it, indicating that this is not allowed or not working.

How can I use the Overflow Menu as advertised, to remove unwanted extension icons from the toolbar? Or is there a good workaround?

i did a fresh clean install of windows and downloaded and signed into firefox browser. all my settings and extentions appeared as well as bookmarks however my logins and passswords are not there. can you help ?

Amazon site requests load(s) Edge Browser repeatedly-even without clicking on Amazon site w/in FF browser, the Edge browser launches. Current Ver.: 112.0.1 (64-bit)

"Instaverse" Program lets scriptures appear after a mouse over in Firefox. Why will it not work since the 112 update and download? Worked all right until updates and downloads after March 22, 2023.

Currently, my tab preview only show the top of the page, not in the exact position I am currently on in that page! This has made it difficult to track my whereabout!

Can anything be done about this!

I've got this weird behavior happening where if my window is closed from maximize, which saves the browser's size, and I open it, it will first open in maximize then size down to the same size.

In other words, Firefox will always open the window to a specific size regardless of what it was when I closed it. This is extremely annoying.

Is this part of resisting fingerprinting? This is some unusual behavior that I haven't seen Firefox do before ever.

I can provide a little video if my explanation wasn't clear.

Hi everyone, I am currently using Firefox "112.0.1 (64-bit)" on Windows 10 "10.0.19045 Build 19045]"

I have problems using almost all Google websites: most of the times they do not load at first attempt, and when they do they do not works properly. As example: Youtube does not load (or the cached version says that there is no internet connection), then after a few attempts it loads but all thumbnails on the home are gray.

On another browser (Edge) all websites works normally.

Using private window has the same problem, I have no extension and no plugin other than OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc. and Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.. I tried emptying cache and also reinstalling Firefox.

The only fix I found on the web is to disable hardware acceleration from settings. If I disable it and restart the browser, then all websites works normally. Actually I can't see this as fix but as a workaround, since I am using a notebook and I'd like to use my GPU for video decoding and save energy.

Maybe I am missing something? Is there something I can do? Thanks.

When I close Firefox 112, I get a duplicate Firefox icon in my dock.

I have a 24" IMAC and am running Ventura 13.2.1

How do I stop these extra icons from planting themselves in my dock.

This just started yesterday, with the download of 112.

Good evening, I've some problem with firefox sometime it don't start (if I restart Ububtu 22 kernel 6.0.0 in use firefox start) and some times when I try to save an image it crash an close. Here below you can find the crash code error. Thanks a lot for the support

Is there a way to permanently disable red underlining from Firefox spell check? This has only started occurring since an update to Firefox 110 (now on 112), but there seems to be no way to make it go away. I've unchecked the spelling box in preferences, and killed off things in about:config:

extensions.spellcheck.inline.max-misspellings 0 layout.spellcheckDefault 0 services.sync.prefs.sync.layout.spellcheckDefault false services.sync.prefs.sync.spellchecker.dictionary false

I'm using Mac Monterey, and have the global spell check turned off for that. This seems to be a problem specific to Firefox, as it doesn't happen in Chrome (spellcheck off) or Safari. I'd like to remove this entirely, since it's distracting to have it second guessing me whenever I'm typing. The main reason I use Firefox is that it gives me the ability to control many things, particularly in combination with UBlock, but I'm unable to make any progress in removing this persistent work disruption.

I need to change my email address. The old email address is disabled and doesn't work. I have a new email address johnlorenzosr@gmail.com and can't get a code from the old one which doesn't work anymore. What do I do.

Before I refreshed Firefox, I always had a blank Yahoo! search bar at the top of any page. It was very useful but it's gone and I don't know how to get it back. Can someone help me with this?
