I have Fire fox 4 and I wish to upgrade to Fire fox 5 or 6 , is this free? and if I do upgrade will I lose my bookmarks ? ....... I want to upgrade ! .... fire fox has improved my computer speed ....alot .........GREAT PRODUCT ...... I only wish to improve my fire fox .......and if the upgrades are free or ? ..........thanx Don L

Lines overlapping, words overlapping, in incoming email. Also outgoing email, the first letter typed is 50% or less in size than the rest and the dictionary does not detect the first small letter, therefore it prompts that it is misspelled. Hep !!!!!

I go to Central Pacific Bank's website and try to pay my bills, but when I click on "Pay bills" it does not do anything. Before it would go to pay bills. Now when I click it does not respond. There website is not responding. So I try on America Online browser and no problem. I can pay my bills. How come with Firefox it now does not work? This is the second time I am having problem with Firefox and it is becoming annoying. What's the problem?

I was happily typing along and noticed both a typo and the fact that the typo was NOT underlined in red squiggles. Hmmmm, I thought.

Fiddling around, I discovered an option on right-click that allowed Me to turn on spellcheck. Now, every time I type in an email or forum, on Twitter, anywhere, I have to right-click to be sure of My spelling.

Thus began My efforts to find how to set the button to be on by default... Finding none led Me to "Help," which a search of the term "spellcheck default" led Me to a zero in returns. Sure, there were discussions with those terms, but I could not prowl them all looking for the method of setting spellcheck to be on by default. The first few pages yielded nothing...

So if You would please, direct Me to that function. [smile]

I have latest version of FF and MacBook Pro 10.9.2. Recently had major keychain problems and worked a lot with Apple to solve them. Now all is well but…. I am now frequently asked to enter my master password when I am in FF; they has never happened before. For example, when I go to Amazon, a window opens asking for the master pw. In some cases, this is not a big deal because I can cancel the request and my keychain will get me into the site. In other cases, my keychain does not work if I cancel the request for the MPW and I have to enter my access information. I asked Apple support about this, and they said to contact you.

When I attempt to log in to my gmail account, rXXXXXXXXXXXXXt@gmail.com, I instead get logged in to my niece's account, rXXXXXXXXe@gmail.com . I can then open and read her email, etc., and have no desire to, but more importantly cannot open my gmail account. Her account originates out of Fruita, Colorado, no where near Beaverton, Oregon, so I have no idea why my computer would try to log in to her gmail account. It is possible that she used my computer to log in to her gmail account when she was out here visiting this past summer, but your software still should not log in to her account when I ask it to go to my account, [email removed]@gmail.com. In my not very humble opinion, this is a major security breach and weakness in your software besides being a royal pain.

I use Firefox web browser, my OS is Windows 10 pro. I am the webmaster for site http://eckankarinoklahoma.org. When I revise and update the website pages, Firefox does not recognize the changes made until I hit the reload (renewal) button to the right of the address. However, when there is no reload button for a page, Firefox never will recognize the changes that have been made until I delete my browsing history. It appears to be read web history pages. I've tried everything, from reloading the page to getting out of the site and returning, etc. to get Firefox to recognize the changes but it will not. Like I said, the only way I can get it to recognize the changes is to delete my history, which is a real pain. The page that doesn't have a reload button is a password protected page. See site mentioned above and click left hand menu item "Members Login here." However, by visiting this page you won't be able to see the problem until you have visited it, and then again after it has been revised. The only revision made to this page is the date in the label asking for the password. The password works fine, it's just that the label never updates and this is important for users to know in which article to find the password. Sorry for the wordiness of this, but I hope you get the idea of the problem.

Google provides a different key to differentiate installed copies of Google Chrome (standard or "Google Chrome for Work") in this file:

Every image I upload looks different in Firefox than the file opened in other programs and different than Google Chrome. It looks with less contrast for sure, and I think a little bit reddish. I noted it when I opened the file with Firefox and when I saw pictures in Facebook. My Firefox version is 47.0, my OS is Ubuntu 16.04 and I already tried in Firefox safe mode.

I have FF 50.1.0,and for some time,I have had problems making payments using Paypal. Everything goes fine until I click to submit payment on the Paypal site,and the page freezes. This just happened today when I tried to make a donation to a local charity. I then made the donation in my Aviator browser with no issues. This has been an ongoing issue with FF for several versions.

I just installed 3 Add-ons Free Memory, Free Memory Button and Ramback but, apart from them showing on the Add-ons Manager, I can't find them let alone open them.................Does anyone know where they could be or what happened? Thanks in Advance

Developing a simple application and I am trying to debug it with the console log. The log works fine, however it looks like it's attempting to style the log entries but isn't parsing its own HTML. That is, instead of seeing: <big>EXAMPLE</big> I'm seeing: < b>< i>< big>EXAMPLE</big></i></b>

This happens no matter what script I'm using, however it only seems to happen on scripts located in localhost (with WAMP running). The console on other webpages seem to be styled appropriately, with no un-parsed HTML tags.

Currently I must sign on to Frontline Education to see if there are any new substitute teaching job offers available 24/7. I would like to receive audible notifications on my Macbook Pro or Apple ipad or Apple iphone to alert me to a new job offer so that I can then go to my device and look at the job offer. Thank you. Up until 6 months ago I was easily able to access all my bank accounts on line using Firefox. I can still access others but not Capital One 360 on line banking. When I try to access Capital One I just get the message that " there has been snag and to try again" which does not work. So I can access my Capital One account only thru Google Chrome. Capital One says that the reason is that Firefox does not update their security setting to the level they require. Can anyone tell me if this is the problem or if there is some other reason why I can no longer use Firefox to access this account.

I frequently try to save pages as PDFs. When I print the page directly to a printer, no problem. When I save the PDF, it's usually munged and not a valid PDF file (very small or 0 bytes). Example URL: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/01/science/bacteria-microbes-electricity.html

Makes an empty PDF while when I do Print and then Save as PDF. I'm on Apple OS 10.13, using Firefox 67.0.4. This problem has been with us for a while (> 1 year I believe) and happens on all my machines.

I'd like to add Firefox to Adobe Dreamweaver for site design viewing. When searching Windows for Firefox.exe I don't see it in Program Files or Program Files (x86). Firefox is installed and used daily. Can someone tell me where it's located in Windows 10?
