Greetings. Please help.

After Win11 update, Firefox started to just show "Gah. Your tab just crashed." I've uninstalled multiple times from MS Store and also direct from website. No luck. Safe mode works fine. My normal mode does not work even when all the addons, etc are disable. I'm a simple user with no customisations of the FF browser.

Tried new profiles, untick performance, etc.

I've even tried restore win11 update to an earlier date. Same result.

Other browsers work fine but I want to support Mozilla. I'm at the point of switching to another.

I hope this message finds you well! I use two versions of Firefox: the stable one and the developer one.

The developer version is set to start with the Windows start and is set to be minimized on the Windows try but since some years Firefox, as other browser do, never load the page or the tab content if the tab or the window is not active, been seen by the user.

I'm asking if there is some hidden settings in the about:config that allow me to disable this and let Firefox load tabs or page always, not only when the tab or windows is seen by me.

After updating firefox nightly on my macbook air m1 all navigation buttons (back, forward, new tab, bookmarks etc.) have dissapeared.

Any idea how to get them back?

I was told my bank that there has been an issue with firefox since the last upgrade. I can sign into my account, but if I try to do anything or click on anything, the site locks up and I can not do anything except for sign out. They told me that it was on your end and that you needed customers to reach out. It's becoming frustrating that I can't use firefox for this application. I can get into my account and do what needs to be done with other browsers. What can you do on your end. The bank is Mission Federal Credit Union. Thank you! Firefox updated to version 131.0 64 bit. Bill payment functions on my banking web site stopped working. I cleared cache and cookies and restarted PC but didn't fix it. I tried using Microsoft Edge and the banking web site worked as always. The bank IT person said it was a Firefox problem. Also, the site says not to block 3rd party cookies, enable cookie tracking and cross-site tracking. In Firefox, I made all changes to allow these things for this site but it still doesn't work. Looks like the latest Firefox update is causing a problem that always worked in the past, while trying to fix something else.

Please advise how to I locate and edit (remove incorrect/old auto-fill items). I click a wrong one on an order and it it going to an incorrect address. Plus there are other very old addresses in there that need to be remove. Any help is appreciated. Thanx

when I watch 360 videos on youtube, the video glitches. Like it stutters, as if its going back and forth in frames constantly. Before, it did not use to do that. I could watch the 360 videos just fine. I even tried refreshing and reinstalling firefox. It did not work. Please help.

You responded you were working on the problem. Today, September 13, 2024, the problem remains. My history continues to pile up, and my cookies and cache will not clear.

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, and years prior to this date; in fact since I first got my laptop, I was able to clear my cookies and cache. I would go to my menu, select History and select Clear Recent History. The box to clear my cookies and cache would show, and I would click on Clear. When I would go back to the menu, and select History, it would show Empty.

On Thursday, July 18, 2024, and since, I have not been able to clear my cookies and cache. All the days of entries since July 18. 2024 are piling up.

I certainly do not know what changed. I would appreciate your listing step by step what I need to do to get my cookies and cache to work/clear.

Or, if you can just fix the problem, please. My laptop is Windows 10, and I use Firefox. Thank you.

I've tried clearing my cache and cookies. My firefox browser is up to date. I tried disabling ad blocker and cookie auto-delete. Javascript is enabled and I even tried turning on that feature that prevents page redirects. I'm truly at a loss for what to do.

I recently noticed that some UI elements have a blue tint, almost like they are being selected. This affects both webpage elements and parts of the FF UI - see the attached screenshot.

I use Firefox and now Google follows asking to Login with Google. Can I eliminate Google or better yet separate Google from Firefox like I had before after some update or corruption must have happened. Google is fine but I only want it when I ask not when Firefox wants? Any help is appreciated!

whenever i try to open reddit it doesn't open though it takes me back to firefox homepage, i refreshed firefox and removed all the extensions but it still isn't working i have a macbook 2020 air retina and it works fine but this troubleshooting problem persists, please take a look into this

There is an audio startup delay that persists on all websites and is present only in Mozilla. So far I've Cleaned cache of all websites; Turned off the hardware acceleration and restarted Firefox;

Also this problem sometimes randomly disappears, but only until the next restart when it shows itself again. I don't know what to do because I literally can't use some websites in Firefox

Browsing works well on my Ubuntu/Linux 22.04.5 laptop except one site. Images are not loading. I can see it has js-errors which might be related. And that may be because some js files are being blocked. The site does work on my iphone though. And using Browserstack I can see it works with other OS.

Piszę z sugestią, aby przy następnych aktualizacjach wprowadzili Państwo możliwość blokowania fraz w wyszukiwarkach, zwłaszcza tych kierujących do stron dla dorosłych. Chodzi mi o to, aby wpisując słowo np. "sex" w Google, czy na innych portalach z wyszukiwarką, takich jak YouTube, Facebook itp., Firefox od razu blokował stronę, wykrywając słowo wpisane na listę do natychmiastowego blokowania. Kontrole rodzicielskie i dodatki skupiają się głównie na blokowaniu całych stron www, co sprawia, że niektóre strony obchodzą te blokady, tworząc różne wersje nazewnictwa (co sprawie, że programy są skuteczne w max. 80%). Na przykład, strona xxx może mieć kilka wersji nazwy, jak xhamster. W efekcie programy lub dodatki blokują główną stronę, ale wersje z alternatywnymi nazwami już nie.

Stąd moja propozycja, aby była możliwość wpisania listy blokowanych fraz. Gdy dana osoba wpisze zablokowane słowo np. wspomnianą frazę "sex" w wyszukiwarce, przeglądarka powinna odmówić jakiejkolwiek operacji. Proszę o rozważenie tej ważnej z punktu widzenia bezpieczeństwa propozycji. Jeśli mają Państwo możliwość zaproponowania blokowania fraz już teraz, proszę o instrukcje. Będę wdzięczny za pomoc. Why on God's green Earth is there a widget by default that has access to my location? I understand that it's just for weather but it is seriously unacceptable that a browser that claims to care so much about privacy plasters my location on my screen for all to see when I open a new tab. Seriously, who thought this was a good idea and how can I turn it off?
