I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY ORIGINAL FIREFOX THUNDERBIRD BACK ON MY COMPUTER. I AM ELDERLY AND DO NOT WANT A LOT OF DIFFERENT ITEMS OR CHANGES. I HAD NO PROBLEM USING WHAT I HAVE HAD FOR YEARS !!!!!!!!!

I used Firefox to log into QB online morning of 6/8/23. Afternoon of same day I was kicked off and unable to log back in. This morning I contacted QB and we were able to log in to QB online from my computer on another browser. I updated FF today and still can not log into QB. How do I log into QB online using Firefox like I have done for years ? James Fletcher

I saw an other article about the same possible but they had a problem with an extension but I dont have that extension but still have the same problem. Whenever i watch twitch or youtube and i alt tab or switch tabs my audio and video stops playing.

I know there are ways , with more clicks or longer shortcuts to get to some folders but this is the main and most easily accessible way to get to my bookmarks. I know this has been discussed in some older posts but they are all archived so I can't ask any questions there. Sorting by name, for me, is quite inconvenient as sometimes the bookmarks title isn't immediately, easily remembered. Thanks.

I'm running 113.0.2 (64-Bit) on Ubuntu Focal.

I just wanted to log into my bahn.de account, got prompted with a hcaptcha which I correctly answered and then got an "503 Service Unavailable" error. The problem is reproducible each time I try. It was working fine when I last tried about 2 weeks ago. I tried disabling addons and tracking protection, deleted cache + cookies + login data as well as cookie files, reset Firefox - no change. Fun fact: The login is working without issues and interestingly even without captcha showing up in Opera and Epiphany (Gnome web browser).

Any suggestions for debugging would be very much welcome. Any hint on why the hcaptcha shows up in Firefox and not in Opera and Epiphany is much appreciated, too.

Win 10, FireFox ver 114 just got update on 6/6.

Been using FireFox for years w/o any problems until this latest update.

Ever since, "Twitter.com" and "Tweetdeck.Twitter.com" both have super magnified screens. All other ones are slightly magnified.

I have 5 columns in Tweetdeck that used to show up completely but only 4 show now--see attached. When I log out of Tweetdeck it takes me to a screen that says "Page isn't redirecting properly" and I can't type the URL and get back to a normal screen--instead it takes me back to my already magnified and logged in screen.

How in the heck can I correct this???? It's driving me crazy!

We had a power failure last night. Now i cannot post to Historum (although I can read it). Error message says "Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console." I've been on this for 2+ hours, have restarted and cannot understand console message.

BUT, Firefox 114.0 has only this: $vars{dir} = 0

Since it appeared that firefox was somehow "merging" the two tags into one, I reversed the order to this to see if the new first var would post. But instead, now this works 100% fine: <input type='hidden' id='fileCount' name='fileCount' value='0'> <input type='hidden' id='dir' name='dir' value='datasets/open/2023-06-07_09:54:40'>

The system is working again. chatAI suggested a few things like updating firefox (I did) , but nothing they suggested worked. Only my reversal worked.

Doesnt display correctly in the new version of firefox.

Up to version 113 it displays perfectly but version 114 the logo does display correctly and the ssl doesnt seem to work

Hi When I'm watching videos on Firefox especially while on YouTube, the whole browser turns white for a few seconds. It sometimes pauses the whole video but almost every time the audio is still playing and I can't see the video. I looked at other similar problems but turning on and off hardware acceleration does nothing. I have the latest GPU drivers and I'm using a laptop.

I'm having an issue where PDF files I download are blurry when I zoom in on them in Firefox, but when I use, for example, Edge, it zooms in fine. I've tried reinstalling Firefox, but it didn't make any difference. It happens to all PDFs I've tried.

My Firefox account is synchronized across my personal devices and my work laptop. This has been working fine for a while, until today I got an error on my work laptop that "Using an older version of Firefox can corrupt bookmarks and browsing history already saved to an existing Firefox profile". I suppose this is because it's using version 102.12.0esr, whereas my PC uses version 114.0.

My workplace won't let me just install the normal version of Firefox.

So in my search for a solution, my first hope is that someone can provide some magic solution, maybe?

If there is no such thing, I'd like to know if there's an esr version right around the corner that will fix this?

In the event that I'm all outta luck, what I'd like to be able to do is try to disconnect my profile on the laptop from synchronization, and then force it to open, hopefully it will work and then I won't have synchronization anymore but at least I'll have my profile as it currently is. Can someone tell me how to do this, if it's possible?

What I absolutely want to avoid at all costs is to manually rebuild my profile. Restoring all my settings, including those hidden in about:config, and all my extensions' settings by hand is going to be a nightmare.

I'm on the latest non-beta version of Firefox on my PC, but my problem has been happening for over a month now. Whenever I add a new bookmark, Firefox has started remembering the last folder I saved a bookmark into. That's not really a helpful feature but, worse still, it doesn't actually save the bookmark into that folder but saves it into Bookmarks Menu instead. I then have to add the bookmark again and choose the folder I want to save it into, as on the second attempt it defaults to Bookmarks Menu as the location. Sometimes the new bookmark remains in the Bookmarks Menu after the second save regardless of what other folder I select. I haven't checked to see if the bookmarks are being duplicated in that scenario.

I've been assuming that this was a bug and have been expecting it to be fixed, but there have been several new releases of Firefox since I started having the problem and it still remains. Moreover, I can't find anything online to suggest that other people are having the same issue, which makes me think it's something to do with my system.

I'd be grateful for any assistance you can provide please.

I'm using version 114.0 (64 bits) with Eset Internet Security 16.1.14.0 installed on a Windows 10 machine 22H2 Build 19045.2965. I have refreshed Firefox from previous version yesterday (06/06/2023) (it asked me to restart the browser). Since then I cannot load any page (not even the about:crashes or settings or passwords, or any website). All pages keep on crashing, the reports are not generated nor sent to support. I have tried to locate the crash reports under APPDATA, but none being generated. I also tried to disable my anti-virus software thinking it may cause an issue, but still no luck. The same happens in Safe mode as well. Tried clean install as well, but again the same thing happens.

There are many mainstream websites that have stopped functioning in firefox that work perfectly fine when switching over to brave and enabling scripts

these are not obscure sites, they are sites for privacy protecting entities hence the lack of function on firefox is perplexing

how do we make these sites work in firefox again to save the switching to brave?

I'm amazed, just AMAZED I can't find the answer to this with a simple google search, or searching the questions here, and I re-worded my search several times. All the answers I could find, even chatGPT (I know it's not alway sup to date) told me to use this option even though I specifically told it it wasn't there, is anyone aware that sometimes the option isn't there? What gives? Not blaming anyone specifically, but this a really simple question, I'm I the first person it's ever happened to?

I'm trying to fix a sound problem where videos will not play, and this is a suggested step. The sound on youtube videos plays with Google Chrome, so it's not my sound drivers, just with firefox it doesn't play. One of the steps as well was the clear my info, I cleared everything except history, I wished there was a way to back those up, I'll look it up.

Starting firefox in safe mode doesn't fix the problem either.

I constantly get logged out of ESPN on Firefox. Doesn't happen on any other browser using the same plugins. It's inexcusable for this issue to persist for nearly 6 months now. The worst part is that I can't log back in. The "Log In" button won't work and I'll have to sign all the way out of ESPN+ just the sign back in. It's happened 26 times this year. Firefox is getting worse by the day.
