Firefox now has ad blocker and it causes issues with sites I visit. I don't know how to modify it; I am not using in private browsing. It's on all the time.

I no longer see ads when I read email, look at a magazine or newspaper article etc. Some sites don't like this and won't let me view what's on them because I am blocking ads. I have looked at Options>Privacy and Security>Tracking Protection and it is not turned on. It is only on when I use a privacy window which I am not using. I have no idea where to look to be able to modify this. I have cookies enabled.
I will admit I have far fewer crashes now that the ads do not display in email and I am happy about that but when a site I belong to won't let me read there because ads are blocked that becomes a problem. Do I have any control over this feature? I only use Firefox on my pc that runs Win 7 Professional and I use version 60.3 esr 32 bit because I still run into situations where Java is required and it was explained in an earlier question that I should use Firefox esr because of this.

I'm having problems with my dropdown notification and profile menus at this particular site:
The problem only started after the patch for v.66. The problem is that when I navigate to the site, the dropdown menus - which you get by clicking on the numbered icon or profile icon in the top right of your page after you log in - work sometimes and other times you can't. I makes the site mostly unusuable since you can't see your notifications. It's kind of a crap-shoot. I thought messing around with and toggling on and off "Performance" standards might work, and it appears that it does change things for a minute or two, but then it ceases to matter.
Do I need to downgrade? Where is the downgrade page?

I've tried all avenues that normally resolves the issue of unsaved passwords, including cleaning out caches, running in safe mode etc. In fact, I tried two different MacOSX machines, one running running 10.13.8, the other 10.14.1. Nothing works, Firefox does not offer to save credentials. I thought there might be some new HTML trick to disable login saving I'm not aware of but Safari had no problem saving the password. Any suggestions are appreciated.

A quick google led me to believe there was a tickbox under the 'general' settings in preferences, but I can't find anything. A search in about:config revealed nothing either. How do I hide these sadly in-built adverts?

more than one week users start report that they are lost pinned tabs. In next logon they not see last pinned tabs, and can see only a half of them.
Users use roaming profiles and some of them use ue-v profiles.
I found that Mozilla Firefox try open files in AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles. This folder not sync for roaming profile. And remove every user logoff. For UE-V unlike roaming , this folder remains (not delete after logoff), but is not sync to a nearby computer. Just AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox - sync with profile.
Is this causing a problem?
I also noticed that after updating the file appears

Online solutions always tell me to keep clearing my cookies, download history, and browsing history. I've done all of those things and yet none of those have worked. Another website told me that deleting the cookies.sqlite folder in Firefox's profile folder would fix the issue, and yet it hasn't
The redirect error stops me from accessing Imgur, which is a shame because it basically stops me from using the website to upload images anymore. Is there a proper, working solution to this? I've tried all the solutions online and yet none of them seem to work.

The facebook tab seems to fail to work. After I log onto facebook with a tab, I open another one, but it shows the facebook page logged on with the account that I chose on the 1st tab. If I log off here, the original tab also logs off. The 1st tab has a blue line underneath while the 2nd one is black. Does anyone have any hints on this?

To stop it you go to the Task manager and end firefox. this means you have killed all the windows open even if they are not affected. Surely in this day and age you can recognise it and block it? It does not lock up the computer only the window it is on but there are a lot of people that will not know how to get past it so I would really like you to look into this for us. THANK YOU

Hello, I recently wanted outside links to be opened in private mode in default. I found solution here. It was to change in some flag in entries in regedit (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FirefoxURL-308046B0AF4A39CB\shell\open\command and FirefoxHTML from -url to -private-window. It works great but Firefox started asking to be my default browser despite being it. As if entry "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -osint -url"%1" as whole defined if this is my default browser (with url flag) and not only location of Firefox. For now I just unchecked Firefox to check if its my default browser. Am I missing something?
