Hello, I've followed Firefox's invitation to install and update the browser on my Mac. Unfortunately the new version is not compatible with OS 10 El Capitan, my operating system, so now I can't use Firefox at all. How I do get the old version back?

I cannot find a way to turn off/disable the "AutoFill" setting... it keeps on revealing my email addresses before I've typed them out.

I'm not a fan of these security breeches. Firefox is giving the wrong info online about disabling this feature because each time I try to disable in preferences/privacy... there is no "dropdown menu" whatsoever.

Any help on this matter will be most appreciated.

I recently updated Mozilla browser for Mac today (version 99.0.1, 64-Bit on April 13, 2022). And now I can not switch between my Gmail accounts that I am signed into (from the top right icon, switch accounts) all it does is load and bring me back to the default account I have set up. It is a bit frustrating since I have to manually log back in everytime and it was so seamless before.

Any help is appreciated.

Since I upgraded my Mac Air to Firefox crashes on every site needing password since Mac upgrade to Ventura 13.3.1 entura 13.3.1 Firefox crashes every time on any site needing a password. I have got latest Firefox. I have uninstalled and re-installed. No change. Any ideas please?!

I find myself going around in a circle. On my Windows machine, about:logins gives me an option to export data. But on my Macintosh, there is no such option (Firefox ver. 78.15.0esr [64-bit]). This is a very old MacBook Air but Firefox tells me that it (Firefox) is up-to-date.

On this page: Home > Support Forums > Firefox for iOS > exporting printing log in and passwords (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1368085#question-reply, I am referred to "Export login data from Firefox" (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-login-data-firefox). But this write-up tells me there is the same export option that doesn't exist.

How do I export this data unencrypted? Any file format would be fine.

Hi all, I'm having an issue that I've seen mentioned over several years and without a workable solution - I'm at the point of having to transfer all my browser usage to chrome and abandon my beloved firefox. The issue has been 'answered' by advanced users to tell people to 'inspect' which font is the issue then check local systems font book for corrupted/duplicate fonts: however this is not a satisfactory response. Context: see screen shot attached for what the jibberish looks like, and a point in the 'inspect' view that I believe (guessing) is involved. System: Firefox 112.0.2 (64-bit), MacOS 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) on Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2020, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5). This same websites do not have any issue on the same computer viewed on Chrome or Safari. Nor is there any problem on my iPhone on the iOS firefox browser.

Firstly this is not a user-friendly solution for most people, I'm afraid. Opening the inspect viewer is mindboggling for anyone who doesn't code and even for people who do some programming but not for websites (like me), it isn't exactly self-explanatory. I think I've managing to find examples that indicate 'Roboto' seems to be consistently involved in the display issue. Secondly, the step for 'fixing' the font that is the culprit - my local system indicates that all fonts are valid and there are no duplicates. I haven't installed manually Roboto as I'm uncertain where to 'safely' get the font from and my computer is owned and managed by my workplace - with overly strict administration/security rules so if I f-up a download of something dodgy my IT service will blacklist me and revoke my admin access... ** which would mean I'd be unable to do my job!**. I wondered if perhaps there is some security setting due to that, which stops website from loading the fonts they choose? From previous 'solutions' it said that having Firefox preference set to "allow websites to choose their own fonts..." should mean the websites can load as needed. If indeed I must manually download fonts for each and every instance that Firefox fails to display text legibly that is equivalent to Firefox being unusable. I'm clearly frustrated and it's because I love FIrefox and the ethos behind it all so leaving for Chrome would be very sad indeed! Help and a solution for normal users would be so very much appreciated. Also where can I properly lodge this issue with peeps who fix things? There are issues of this kind going back years and for both Windows and Mac Systems so it's not a one-off problem but a recurring one! Purchased new iMac w/ Sonoma v 14.2. Contents of old computer were transferred to new one at the Apple Store but I cannot find my bookmarks now. Any advice is appreciated

I've been using Firefox for iOS for several years and know how to use it at a basic level.

Just in the last couple of weeks, it doesn't want to open any buttons. That means if I want to write an email and add an attachment, or I want to post a listing on my Etsy shop and click on 'Add Photos', I click, and nothing happens. Just below this box, in fact, is 'Add images (optional):' and then a button that says 'Browse...'. Nothing happens when I click this button. There's no notification saying pop ups are blocked, just nothing happens.

So I find myself having to close down Firefox and go to Chrome or Safari, over and over again – it's so annoying, because all my passwords are saved on Firefox, so I'm just flicking between them all the time!

Any reasons you can think of? It seems to be up to date? Version is 119.0.1 (64-bit). Thanks!

On Mac OS 14.4 Firefox hangs on launch and crashes, requiring "Force Quit" when I try to Refresh or Troubleshoot. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, and restarted computer several times. Have spent several hours trying multiple community suggestions to now avail.

I am not a programmer, but am able to follow instructions. I clearly need someone to hold my hand and walk me through the solution. (I even checked out the Kaspersky suggestion, but cannot install it because Firefox cannot connect to the Internet.)

I have downloaded and saved "Raw Data.docx" and "Application Basics tex.docx" from one of the crash reports.

P.S. On this question form Firefox guessed that my operation system was Mac OS x 10_15_7, but it is 14.4

Facebook will not load on my Macbook pro anymore.

I've been using Facebook on my Mac for many years, no problems.

About 2 months ago, it stopped loading: "Gah, your tab crashed."

I went through all the self-help tips, clearing add-ons etc, clearing cache, making sure Firefox and IOS are up to date, etc., nothing works.

I've now migrated to Safari but miss Firefox.

I cannot paste text (such as texts from Word-docs or links) while using the WhatsApp web application in Firefox. My ad-blocker for Firefox has been turned off, and all settings under the lock-logo are set on default. When I clear cookies and site date, it works for a while, but then stops working. It's quite annoying, since I use WhatsApp a lot, also for work related purposed, sharing links etc all the time.

Any idea what the problem is and how I could solve it?

A friend posted a link in our WhatsApp chat about free flights. I went to access it via my Mac, but FF immediately showed a warning message. However I was able to clink on the link via my iPhone. Why did I not get the same warning message on the phone?

I really wish I had taken a screenshot. Time to learn!

I have been using Firefox for many years and I know how to use it well. However, I am currently experiencing an issue with the text and fonts on various websites, including Facebook. Even after refreshing and attempting to troubleshoot, the issue persists.

I have noticed that the font and text work normally in Firefox's troubleshooting off mode. I have even attached a photo of the issue for reference.

Please advise.
