hi please help me my bookmarks my passwords and my site settings and...... when i log in my account is not coming i syncing buy is not come please help me is the support of fire fox can't help or can't recovery my information I'm so sorry for all of them

I have stored some password with my account. Recently from past couple of days all passwords got cleared and not no passwords are shown. Could you please let me know what needs to be done.

I synced my bookmarks and everything on my old computer and when i singin on the new computer and logged in to my firefox it doesnt have a single bookmark or login credentials.

I am switching jobs and want to sync my Firefox history from old work computer to new. Both run Windows. I changed the primary email associated with my account from the old work account to a new email. No problem. I synced the new email to my iphone no problem. Now im trying to download and sync Firefox to my new laptop. Running Windows and Im trapped in a crazy loop. I login with correct password to the new email and it asks for the authorization code and when I enter that, Firefox switches to the OLD email and asks for that password. I am not sure I have that password correct because i set the account up four years ago. Regardless, i cant sync my new laptop. But I was able to sync it on my iphone so it CAN be done with the email addy and password I am confident about. Please help.

I have two desktop computers and both Firefox accounts are in my name. I have had this site up for years. Now when I click on one specific web site it won't come up unless I got to Firefox's web browser and click on the three bars, and under my name click on sync now. Then the site comes up. The problem is I have to do this each time, on each computer. I have tried all kinds of troubleshooting to no avail. Help.

Hi, I have an old computer which I have Firefox on with tons of stuff...after getting a new laptop and syncing the two I want to now delete Firefox from the old laptop and use it for other things and still have all the old stuff on the new laptop. I thought the server keeps everything and if I sign out the old laptop that whatever was saved in to the new laptop stays. However, on the new laptop after signing off the old one from sync I don't see the tabs anymore. It makes sense because there is nothing to sync but how do I do what I want then? Many thanks for your assistance. Do I have to "send" 1000 tabs from old to new? Isn't the server maintaining the tabs/history even after I sign off the old laptop from sync?

i can't sync data from old account, anyone have this problem?

(I changed computers, and I logged into my account on the new computer, but there is absolutely no data that I have synced before)

I installed Firefox on a new device and initiated a sync for multi-account containers - it promptly synced in the wrong direction. It eliminated all customization from what should have been the source (the existing device), overwriting it with the default settings of a first-time installation. I was quite surprised.

This leads me to a couple of questions.

1. Is there a sync version history or any way of rolling back a sync? 2. Is there a way to explicitly choose the sync direction?

Quite honestly it is very confusing that there is no reference whatsoever to which way an initial sync will go. I was hesitant to risk this, decided to trust it knew what to do (even though it didn't give me any indication that it did) and lost my gamble.

Firefox knows the device names, so can I suggest some basic reassuring UX be inserted into this process with something like "Initiate sync from X-DEVICE-FIREFOX to Y-DEVICE-FIREFOX?". A bit of clarity would be helpful here, as well as a way to roll back a syncing mistake instead of just having to gamble possibly losing hard-won customization with no going back.

Or have I completely stumbled past some obvious place where everything I'm requesting exists and is accessible already?

I would prefer to be using Firefox rather than Google Chrome, but, my devices when all being logged in with the same account will not all sync as they should be. They will also be synced, but then they would loose their connection with the other ones. The sync should be that when I would simply log into the browser that it would automatically sync using the login information the same easy way it is done in Chrome. I have kept using Chrome, because of the fact that the sync is able to work across all devices simply by logging in for the sync to work & it will work properly to where all of the browsers that would be logged in would be synced, no issues whatsoever. How can I actually login to the sync on everything with there not being any issues of any kind across all devices?

I try to sync with my work computer (windows 10) but nothing is imported. No bookmark, no password, nothing. I do not have any error message it seems.

What information could be useful to resolve this problem ? thank in advance.

I have 3 desktops and 2 laptops with Firefox sync turned on. Occasionally the bookmarks on all devices are synced with an older version of bookmarks. I'm guessing it's from one of the laptops that hasn't been turned on in a few weeks and now is on. Is there not a way to prevent an old set of bookmarks from replacing a known 'good' set of bookmarks? Thankfully I have my bookmarks backup turned on and can restore them but would like to know if there is a solution to keeping bookmarks current and stable on all devices, even those devices that aren't regularly used.

i use firefox on both my desktop (windows) and laptop (macbook). I try to sync the 2 so that the logins (passwords saved) on firefox desktop but although i am logged in and synced in firefox macbook (bookmarks have been synced) the saved logins dont. The firefox macbook saved logins are empty. I tried exporting them in csv from the desktop and import them in macbook but it shows an error. i even tried to manually save a login in macbook (in the lockwise section of logins) and still shows an error.

hi I've made a grave mistake, in a hurry I was in need of something from my mozilla account, so I hastely logged in but couldn't so I changed my password since I had access to my email but I lost all my data.....and I do have my mozilla keys for this account. plz tell me there is a way to recover my data for the love of god btw, I didn't see no warning in the reset my password page about losing my data WTH tnx

I have two desktops that we use on a daily basis, both have Firefox sync turned on to sync bookmarks, addresses, add-ons and settings. I also have a laptop that I use sporadically, maybe once every two-three weeks, or longer. It also has the same sync settings. Here is the issue I'm having with sync. When either desktop has new bookmarks added/removed they always sync perfectly to each other (desktops). But, if I turn my laptop on after a couple of weeks of being off, then it always syncs the 'old' bookmarks (up) and then the desktops get synced (down) with old bookmarks. How can I prevent this from happening and does anyone know why, in this scenario, it is happening? I've checked various places in settings and cannot find anything obvious to fix this. All devices, laptops & desktops, are very regularly updated with the most current firefox version, except on occasion if the laptop has been off for a couple of weeks or more, but once it's turned on, it updates.

I want to sync my desktop and mobile login lists. I have Firefox 95.2.0 (2012-12-16) on my phone. And I have 95.0.2 on my desktop. Everything on mobile marked to synchronize. I've even manually clicked "sync"... Phone says everything was uploaded. But nothing is in the list on the desktop. When I tries to add a "new device" in preferences on desktop, I expect it to give me QR code. But it gives me instantly "Synchronization failed" instead. I'm tired to open list on phone and then type everything in on desktop. How can I fix the issue?

I still use the Quantum 96 portable along with Firefox ESR 52.9 for certain sites due to the superior customization and functionality of the latter via extensions that do not work on Quantum. However, I would like to sync the ESR passwords with Quantum, but I cannot login into Sync on ESR since "sign in" results in "Blocked by Content Security Policy."

Whenever Firefox tries to sync, which is naturally happening on startup, it crashes with no error messages. I ran Firefox in safe mode by entering the command firefox -safe-mode and the same thing as before happened, but before it crashed, Firefox wrote Exiting due to channel error. Exiting due to channel error. Exiting due to channel error. Segmentation fault in the console, and then exited to the command prompt. Help!?
