Recently I have noticed 'Your browser is being managed by your organization. - That being ImportEnterpriseRoots' appearing in settings. I have seen this mentioned by others but as of yet I cannot see if it has been sorted yet. I have uninstalled and it went away, but it has since returned the following day. I Do not have any other anti-virus on this laptop other than Windows Defender so it cannot be that. I will not be using Firefox as default until this is gone, or at the very least know that its safe.

I received this message from ATT whenever I try opening my email: "Something's gone wrong. You may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to WiFi could help fix the issue or try later again." However, I can get into my email through Chrome with no problem so I'm able to continue working. Would uninstalling then reinstalling Firefox help without creating more problems? I would like to continue with Firefox if possible. I have Windows11. Thank you.

For some months now when I click on a video that is on a news website, such as The Guardian or The BBC for example, the video screen goes black and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

Hello After last firefox update this page mail.proton.me (specifically: https://mail.proton.me/u/0/inbox) does not load for me.

It works in chrome and edge but not firefox. I cleared my cookies and cache but it did not help. All I get is blank white page and sometimes error message. I attach screen from my F12 menu when I try to load page. In brave for example there is much more activity than in FF.

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My Firefox Browser keeps crashing at random times. I was using Chrome previously and it was worse than the Firefox performance. I just installed 128 GB of brand new DDR5 RAM which I tested in windows with no error. I have no malware on my computer currently. I ran all of the usual checks that you suggested with regard to extensions and cache. Here is the most recent report ID that was generated by Firefox:

I accidentally uninstalled firefox and need to recover passwords and bookmarks. Can this be done? I run an old dell latitude with Windows 10 and was trying to cleanup apps running in background at startup since it was running very slowly. At one point I saw 2 firefox icons. Uninstalled one and lost everything. Can you help me. Michael Evans

I would appreciate whatever help or suggestions someone may provide to an irksome problem that only happens in my preferred browser, Firefox. I've attached an image below of a page from a local grocery store. Like most stores these days, it is possible to search within that store and its web site for specific items and prices, etc. It works in at least two other browsers I've tried but not in Firefox so a setting, I'm guessing, has been changed within Firefox in the last few months (because this problem did not occur before then).

As you see in the image, I've inserted an item to find its price; and nothing happens. Before, on Firefox, and now with other browsers, I would get a display of all relevant products, prices, quantities, sales and discounts, etc.

What Firefox setting do I need to change so this information will show up again?

I have Firefox version 137.0.2 on this system running Windows 10 Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5737).

I DO NOT use Google for anything, if I can help it. Every time I go to my credit union's website, the google bar showing View this page in (English, in my case) or turn off for detect language shows up. I have no idea where it came from, I haven't used Chrome in years.

I've attached a small screenshot. It's not a huge deal, but I don't like google showing up at my credit union, or anywhere else.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can reproduce this issue by:

• going to the Wikipedia page for the katakana Unicode block.
• going to any YouTube comment with Japanese text.
• hovering over the screenshot of the YouTube comment so that the tooltip containing the name of the file is shown.

On YouTube the text renders only if 1.27916663885116563rem <= font-size <= 1.92083328962326036rem. Increasing `gfx.font_rendering.fontconfig.max_generic_substitutions` from 3 to 99 allows some punctuation to render and makes the text take up horizontal space. Further increase of the value to 999 causes the interpunct to render in the Wikipedia page.

This problem started yesterday. The sound in YouTube with Firefox is extremely low. As far as I can tell, the problem doesn't exist elsewhere. Other browers are OK with YouTube and other websites that have sound are OK with Firefox.

I reinstalled Firefox and rebooted the computer - still has the problem.

How do I change the time out to a longer time?

I cannot figure out how to add my favorite things to the toolbar. The toolbar doesn't even show up at the top of my page. I just get a string of random bookmark names under the address bar with the Other bookmarks folder at the end. I can't even get rid of "Finish Setup" which is the last one shown. How do I do find where the toolbar is hidden and get it to show? Once I do find it, how can I add my favorite items to the toolbar? I even had ask a question online to find out how to restore my most recent bookmark which was backed up in the documents folder on my computer. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't like the way Mozilla Firefox looks now. It isn't as easy to use. I have included what the top of page looks like now. I am sorry I didn't think to keep one of how it used to be.

I click on a video to play - video opens, plays maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then playback stops spinning top, I also found out during the last glitch after update that if I switch the resolution briefly, higher or lower doesn't matter - important is to leave the current resolution and switch to another one. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. If I wait for this - without doing anything myself, it sometimes takes 30 - 40 seconds for the video to start ... sometimes it just "hangs" ... This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. How do I remove "firefox browser being managed by your organisation" . I have looked at several posts and don't understand a word of it. I recently re-installed Firefox and lost all my passwords but still have bookmarks, every time I turn off firefox it forgets my account sign in, I then get an email to say I have signged in on a new device. I suspect it is the Norton 360 security software. Please can someone explain in simple terms how to remove it. I have tried contacting Norton but their support is worse than Microsoft.
