With some emails in Outlook on Firefox, clicking on a link within the email gives me a new blank window, with its address line saying something like this: (name of original site, then) ".list-manage.com/track/click?u=ca38acd 82fe622b7" etc etc... This doesn't happen with all emails, but often enough and in some of my most-used sites... I'm on a new HP desktop. Can anyone help?

Today all of the sudden, one of my computers running Firefox won't connect to Youtube at all. It says security issue with HSTS. It also says there there is nothing I can do to resolve it. Surely that can't be true. Youtube runs on every other computer in the office just fine.

When using Firefox (latest) and attempting to login into a website I get an error (see attached image) generated by the host's server's firewall. It appears it thinks I'm a bot. When I use Firefox's privacy mode I don't get this error. I would prefer not to use privacy mode. I contacted the administrator of the website I'm attempting to access and he couldn't offer any help.

When I use Google Chrome browser I don't encounter the above problem. This leads me to believe it's not an issue with my Avast Anti-Tracking and Antivirus settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just the other day I started getting these popups from "anti virus service" that keeps popping up on my screen. I do not nor never did have McAfee on my system. I did a deep search, and there is no program on my computer, nor in my startups, nor in my popups allowed relating to this. It is only a problem with Firefox. Any solutions?

Hello. I have window10. I have primary password which must entered before accessing any site. or the last 3days my computer asks me repeatedly to enter my primary password. and the circle goes on.

So I am unable to use my computer.

Hi! After a routine update today to Mozilla Firefox 127.0 for Linux Mint, Firefox is asking for my master password before letting me continue. Sync does not appear to be enabled.

I'd really rather it didn't do this, because my password manager is now always open and accessible. Previously, the master password request was only triggered when I came on a site that needed a password.

Anything I can do to fix this?

I stored a password for particular web site. When I reset the password and stored it again. but your site does not revise it. then i try to remove it but you offer to passwords for all websites. THIS PREVENT ME TO STORE PASSWORDS IN THE FUTURE.

I've posted before but no answer as to why Firefox labels Paypal as an unsafe site. I don't know where to change settings to allow it without the warning. I've just ignored the warning and continued but it is annoying.

I have a Lenovo Win 11 notebook that now requires me to sign in each time I open Outlook or YouTube when I use the Firefox Browser. Edge and Chrome do not require a sign each time I use Outlook and/or YouTube. A setting in Firefox certainly seems to be the cause. I reinstalled Firefox, still same broblem.

A week or two ago I had no issues with Outlook and YouTube. It happens now every time I Open Outlook and YouTube.

I now use EDGE and have stopped using Firefox which has been my preferred browser for years.

This has been going on for a length of times, the Privacy app or window keeping changing when I used it. This morning, it started back when trying to close it to go to another website. Also, the middle part of the privacy screen keeping changing.

Firefox is not secure because there is something going on every day with the settings. They keep changing on me.

When I access a location-aware website, I'm asked if I'll allow it to use my location. My problem is that the pop-up window won't allow me to do anything. I can't block, allow, close the window — nothing. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?

When I go to Settings > Privacy & Security the only "autofill" setting is to import data from another browser. I am signed in, in the US, and my VPN is set to Seattle.

Almost daily on Firefox, I get pop-ups like the one shown in the attached image. I have, a few times, bought items on MrTortilla's website and that's fine. What I don't want it pop-ups from them daily when I'm not even on their site. Where do I go in Firefox to say, "I'm not open to pop-ups from this site"? Somehow it must be listed as okay. Please don't tell me to delete all cookies because I like the prefills from most of them. If there's a specific cookie I need to delete, please explain how to get to that. Hopefully, it's just a setting somewhere of sites that are allowed to send pop-ups and I can be guided there to remove mrtortilla.com from that list. Thanks!

In Firefox 115.8.0esr on linux RHEL7, I am loading a local html page (using file:///...) that I created. Inside the html page, I have a tag "<object id="hiddenDataObj" data="abc.txt">" where abc.txt is a text file in the same directory as the html file. Using my default profile, the data is loaded and some downstream javascript runs as expected. When I use an alternate profile and try to load the exact same page, I get a javacscript error "Uncaught TypeError: hiddenDataObj.contentDocument is null." It is not null when I run my default profile.

I'm trying to figure out what setting in my profile is enabling/disabling the loading of the data so that I can change it. I've gone to about:preferences and scrolled through and it seems like all settings I see are the same between the two profiles.
