The settings window opens automatically when auto fill is used. Each time I click on the pre-fill bar on a webpage, the settings window/menu opens automatically. How do I stop this from happening? (but continue using auto fill). Thank you

I'm trying to import a password csv file generated by Roboform into firefox password editor. I've exported the csv file from Roboform but when I try to import to the Firefox password page I get: "Incorrect or missing column headers. Make sure the file includes columns for username, password and URL". The csv file does have column headings. Is there a way to do this?

My website is shown as insecure. If I open it with Chrome, it is okay. If my girlfriend opens it from her computer with firefox, it is okay too. What is wrong here?

I'm a long time FF user, the developer edition is my preferred browser. It suddenly started crashing, a complete removal and new install did not help.I posted a help question a couple of weeks ago but no workable solution surfaced unfortunately. I assume the problem is still the same.

ps. I'm currently using the standard FF verison and it runs smooth as ever....

I am trying to open a website but I keep getting error code 522. I've tried using Chrome and it connects to the website with no problem. I've checked my privacy settings and I do not have that website blocked. What else can I check? I don't think it's an issue from the website side. Every time I attempt to download a file today, no matter what it is or where it's from, it pops up saying that the download failed immediately. I can download through Edge or other browsers, just not Firefox (or any Firefox offshoots like LibreWolf). Not sure what's causing it, I've run a whole gambit of troubleshooting options, including:

• Checking my connection
• Checking my drive's space (plenty)
• Changing the download path
• Reset the download folder in about:config
• Rebooting my computer
• Clearing my downloads
• Trying a new profile
• Run a MalwareBytes scan
• Closed MalwareBytes and turned off my firewall
• Ensured OneDrive is disabled
• Refreshed Firefox
• Did a clean install

Nothing works. The only thing I found that gives me any kind of clue is this error message in my about:support: ""NotAllowedError: Could not create unique file in `C:\Users\[my name redacted]\AppData\Local\Temp' (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED"" It seems like Firefox is trying to write to Temp and can't get the permissions, but I'm not sure why that would be or how to fix it. I have tried googling my butt off, but I'm not finding anything helpful - I may just be blind.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this, it'd be much appreciated!

I changed the 'mousewheel.with_shift.action' to a '5' in 'about:config' to be able to use pinch zoom on my desktop with a keyboard and mouse, like I'm able to do on my phone or laptop with a touch screen. This does work properly and I'm able to pinch zoom by holding down the Shift key and scrolling my mouse wheel up and down.

However, there is an issue of sensitivity. The pinch zoom is painfully slow, and I have been unable to adjust its speed. If there exists an option to change the pinch zoom sensitivity, I'd greatly appreciate the help.

I just uninstalled firefox for personal use at home (Still use it for work).

This was my feedback - Extremely disappointed and non-functional profile option/s. Wanted to provide feedback that hopefully someone sees, as there is going to be a mass migration to FF soon and if they do NOT fix the below, people will give up fast.

Firefox MUST have multiple profile support under 1 login, not combine them. The thought of having to sign up a completely separate second account/email for a second Firefox 'account' with a second 'mfa' token just to separate personal and work is ludicrous.

I want to sign in, pick my profile as personal / work and then it syncs my diff favourites, plugins etc. per profile for work or personal depending where I am, NOT SHARE them all on 1 login. This is not possible and a huge disappointment considering these features are considered basic in other browsers."

Until firefox does this, it is unusable for multi work/private profiles and signing up a second Firefox account is just silly.

How can you create **multiple** Firefox website shortcuts to the taskbar in Windows 11?

I have spent 90 minutes looking everywhere on the web--few people seem to understand the question--and no suggestions I can find anywhere on the web are correct.

NOTE: not referring to one single Firefox shortcut on the taskbar--that's easy.

I'm referring to pinning an ADDITIONAL shortcut to the taskbar (in FF to another website).

NOTE: not referring to creating multiple shortcuts in Firefox ON the desktop.

When creating multiple shortcuts on deskstop--there is no "Pin to taskbar" option in the context menu when the shortcut is right clicked. The only option is: "unpin from taskbar option." see uploaded image

Previously, it was possible--in Windows 10--to pin multiple Firefox shortcuts to the taskbar. It is still possible in Edge and Chrome. [I prefer Firefox and do not like to access my Google account on Chrome or Edge.]

I have a problem in Firefox where I can't log into Chewy. I get the error "Secure Connection Failed". Turning off extensions doesn't help, this seems to be a root problem with Firefox itself. I can sign in using Edge.

I am getting "Secure Connection Failed", Ive seen literally hundereds of same error also exist here. Like most of default solution (which is below) did not work for me. My laptops time is correct, And I highly doubt reddit and most of internet has issue with its security certificates. And other browser works just fine. When you go into 'Manage Bookmarks' and click on 'Import/Backup Bookmarks' is there a way to clear out the list of files listed when you hover over 'Restore ->' which brings up the list of recent bookmark files that you have restored?
