I cannot seem to narrow this down. I am getting a ntdll.dll exception within the error that I see in Event Viewer -> Application logs. This issue is reproducible on two different computers, opening various sites. I suspected it was extensions (as those would be a commonality) but I had the same crash occur in Troubleshoot Mode. It does happen less frequently on a newer machine, but it still happens. I find that opening something such as YouTube or The New York Times makes it crash faster, meaning some performance thing.

Attached are two distinct errors that happen each time.

Since the latest update to 106.0.2 "check for updates" runs non-stop until I disconnect from my vpn (ExpressVPN for Windows 7). I can reconnect my vpy but after a short while I cannot open other tabs or windows. I get the message "server not found".

What is going on? You have a fix for this?

I have used FF for years but his might make me switch.

hello why can there not be a simple way of getting your passwords back after and up grade has lost them why is there not a simple restore button that allows novices like me to just press and reinstall , with out going through the ends of the earth on firefox todo this ? open this file then open that file, lose what has been saved and replace with another file, it is an impossible way to do this for a novice on firefox , with out paying a lot of money to a tech guy that will take a couple of minutes to do but that will take a novice months and not get it done in the end,

Firefox 112 Mint Linux

The web site for my VOIP company lets me set phone numbers as "contacts" via a web form.

I started getting an error message along the lines of "Error Adding Contacts".

I restarted Firefox in --safe-mode, the site worked.

I restarted Firefox in normal mode. I then turned off each extension, one by one, refreshing the form. I ended up turning them all off and the contact form stayed broken.

What else does --safe-mode turn off besides the extensions?

Since the last update of FF i have not been able to log into the Danish digital ID services MitID.

It worked with the previous version of FF It works now with Chrome and Edge I have cleared cash and cookies it did not solve the problem.

why, You are not saving all the log in and passwords lately. There are many that are missing in the list of save passwords. 2. Can you fix the slowness in my site and the Firefox Crashes? Thanks Teresa Scanlan-- [email removed from public]

IS FIREFOX NOW POLITICALLY DOMINATED? I AM SHOCKED AFTER BELIEVING THAT FIREFOX WAS NOT BLOCKING INFORMATION ON THE WEB THAT THEY DIDN'T POLITICALLY AGREE WITH! NOW I FIND OUT THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT FIREFOX AND ALL THEY HAVE IS THE STANDARD ASK A QUESTION FROM THE COMMUNITY! THERE ARE TOO MANY GLITCHES WITH DOWNLOADING THEIR UPDATES AND COMPLETELY LOSING MY SAVED PASSWORDS AND NOW THIS BROWSER HAS BLOCKED INFORMATION POSTED ON A NEWS ARTICLE THAT SHOWS TWITTER FEEDS BY THE PRIOR TWITTER ADMIN THAT HAS BEEN FIRED. I HAVE THE STANDARD SECURITY AND DO TRUST THE SITE THAT I AM ON BUT WITHOUT EXPLANATION FIREFOX HAS BLOCKED THOSE FEEDS IN THE ARTICLE. CERTAINLY NOT INTENDED TO PROTECT MY BROWSING BUT TO BLOCK AN INTENTIONAL POLITICAL PERSPECTIVE! I was unable to pay an xfinity bill online. I got a cannot use this server. This has also happened with an apartment inquiry. When I attempted hit the key to go to the results the message was that I could not use this server or that the server was unavailable.

In Firefox, the comments section on articles at 9to5Mac have not loaded for me for some time. Today I was trying to figure out why.

Troubleshoot Mode did not fix it. (In Troubleshoot Mode, if I carefully watch the webpage loading, for a moment I see a flicker of the comments section loading for a fraction of second, but then it disappears.)

But creating a new profile in Firefox does fix it.

The comments section also loads properly when looking at these same webpages in Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

I think(?) this behavior also happens with some other websites' comment sections, although I don't usually pay much attention to comment sections.

Any thoughts on how to fix it without needing rebuild my entire profile brick by brick?

Basic information: Firefox 107.0.1 (64-bit) (latest update available), Windows 10, i7 11th generation, 16 GB RAM

Hi after the new update of firefox i am unable to access my proxmox servers at home or at work.

Proxmox uses a website gui to login and start and change vm settings.

After updating to the newest firefox can't access the webpage. But works over older firefox or using another browser.

When connecting to the proxmox webpage firefox just hangs and I cant close or open new tabs or do anything.

I need to then force close firefox and use another browser

This started in the past few days, the first with a website I've been using for 10 years. No problem with Chrome. I contacted their tech support. A couple of days later it worked okay till this morning (10/24/22). This evening it's off again -- after another software upgrade.

I'm now experiencing this with a second site, which I've also used for at least 10 years with no problems.

I read in a reply or two something about "profiles." I have no idea what this is or where to find them.

Seems like there's a bug in the new update. I can't see all the downloads, no matter how I try to open the list of downloads, the browser immediately crashes. I tried reinstalling (started a new profile, etc), the issue still persists.

For the last few weeks Firefox has been TOTALLY unresponsive - the browser page loads however the Home Button does not appear (this was previously set to "on"), when I press the Settings hamburger and try to select an option, none of the option open, and even more annoyingly when I manually type a webpage in, it does not load.

I've tried uninstalling Firefox, manually deleting the folders from C:/Program Files and %appdata% and reinstalling but this does not resolve the issue.

Incidentally, when I try to reinstall Firefox an error comes up saying vcruntime140.dll is not present but when I bypass this dialogue box and let the install finish, it is then present in the C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox folder.
